Creations
you defy my imagination!
and surpass all of my creations
no loose change, we may have to walk it
take our time, like we can afford it
in my hour of early twilight
you take me to a higher insight
I am good, truly gone
where to go and where from
quiet stars falling through my blindness
broken hearts would try to remind us
troubles blow n’ rage in the distance
they rise up n’ still make no difference
one long, dizzy spell of confusion
did seduce my every reason
world outside comes down to
push and shove, black and blue
I can walk and talk at the same time
one steady stream of thought on my mind
well, I don’t know if you deserve this
but you get all my love and service
giving in was always too easy
never did it appeal to me
I left home for the front
restless and bothersome
in my hour of early twilight
you take me to a higher insight
I am good, truly gone
