Love Letter

Send your gentle rays to wake me
my grieving bedroom seeks your light
blow a soothing breeze, my love
and lead my dance across this day

while I lay atop and beneath you
wrap me in your heated arms
tickle all my senses
with your fragrant emerald grass

at the peak of midday
take me across the horizon
touch me with your golden cascading rays
nourish me as you do the Earth
thrill me with your rain

kiss your splash upon my skin
seduce and soften dirt
melt me as you melt the soil
and father the dormant seeds
buried deep within
an ever-fertile womb

dry your weeping silver
it twinkles on tree branches
in the faintest graze of Sunlight
peeking out behind your quilt of clouds
like a child on Christmas morn
awaiting your coming gift

mother of Earth
eternally maternal
humble me
with your celestial magic

for it’s you, only you
who crafts a balanced arch of elements
sweeping color across the sky
to build a bridge of harmonious hues
where the wetting Rain
walks with the drying Sun

Hi Jessica, who knew nature could be that erotic. Your poem is so hot, I need a cold shower. Keep your sunny side up baby sister.
