The Eye Of The Storm

Once crashed the waves in tempest’s storm,
and blew the wind as sails were torn.
Once drove the rain against frozen skin
as darkness took the vessel in.

Once void of any hope at all,
trapped deep inside the prison’s wall,
beneath the crushing weight of lead
but faintest light shown from ahead.

Then in a moment, skies were clear
and ocean’s calm dispelled the fear.
It seemed blue skies meant all is well.
The storm has past now mend the sail.

So gave I way to those who care,
and bent the knee and found what’s there -
pure wine upon the lees in hand
and from it, strength to make a stand.

But drifting time brought slumber’s sleep
as wind reversed across the deep.
Blue sky gave way to churning black.
Nowhere to go, no turning back.

For little deeds allowed back in
like seeds of tares took root again
and oh, how fast the vines did grow.
And I had nowhere left to go.

Once back again in tempest’s hold.
Now worse the winds, now worse the cold.
The brief blue sky and radiant warm…
was only the eye of the storm.

Relapse

My radar goes up when you don’t come home
You’ve left me sitting here all alone
I want to cry but the tears don’t come
The wheels in my mind are turning
I shout down the doubt that I have in my head
I should be asleep but I sit here instead
Waiting for word that you’re doing okay
I’m not onto you but I’m learning
I’m holding my breath as I sit here tonight
Stress has become a big part of my life
How do I know that you’re doin’ alright
And the choices you've made are discerning?
Disproving a relapse will be up to you
And like it or not there’s a lot left to do
Whatever the cost I’m counting on you
And hoping you’ll soon be returning.

Building my castle to the kingdom

Building castles within my own confinement
only to be hit with the harshest of realities
& replaying what it means to be broken, to heal, and relapse
 over and over again.
Numbing the weight of so many life choices
Drowning out screams from all different voices.

Lord please me show me your grace.
Seeing myself in the mirror
I'd rather not show my face.

My self esteem crumbled
Self-worth turned to dust
I'm suffering due to a lack of self love
And unwillingness to trust

Feeling as if my body left me unhealed
 without my soul intact
Praying I could right the wrongs
that haunt me from my past
afraid of what appears impossible
A daunting peak.. still within my grasp
Have to take that leap of faith
to start me on the path

Dear Lord I pray you break these chains that refuse to set me free
bound from years and years of pain.
Most of which have remained unseen
Let me feel your light my Lord
The warmth shine on my face
I need to feel your selfless love
I need your warm embrace.

The thought of this battle
it heightens all senses of "fight or flight"
I'm writing this in hopes to from now until forever
Guide me into your light.

Love without Beloved,
Beloved without Love,
neither alternative could be
me without you
you within me
both equivalent would be
We.

We without you,
or me,
this simply can not be,
we takes both equally
bidextrously
ambivalent

Without me,
just you,
or me,
which We cannot
co-arisingly be.

I could not be me
without a you,
nor you
without a me,
as I, you see

we're not at home
in silo-by-silo
universality,
confusing coincidentality,
poor performing
economicality,
dismal absence
of ecologicality,
teleologically teasing
merely biological We.

If no Earthy EcoSystem,
then no Me.
If no Me, then no exegetical
metaphysical
metamorphical
polycultural
permaculturing Be.

If no Belonging,
then no longing.
If no longing, then no hope
of Belonging.
If no becoming, then not Being
seeing
sensing
souling
solving
resolving
resonating
hibernating
sublimating
en-double-lightening We.

If synapse
were not quite so closely haunted
by relapse
deep learning might be
as boringly unpredictable
as gravity's self-creational
bi-relational
lapse.

When East and West learn to divest
of Othering culture's absence,
as South and North learn to invest
in Other culture's apart-sense,
then PermaCulturing Design
will co-redeem
sustainable We
polyculturing our healthy Planet
polymorphic economics
polypathic ecologic
becoming PolyWealthy Therapy.

Messiahs turn Left
to Rightly Prophet
and CoMessiah Right
to EcoProphesy Left
and back again
to revolution Earth ethics upside down,
with SunGod's cooperative rays on top
of Earth's economically rich
deep pie charts
and global graceful synergy spread wide
warm watery reception,
challenging bi-generic tree-ringed contractions
of grace,
karmic abundance,
a Bun Dance away from narcissistic ignorance

Ego's fancy prance,
of why when we each and all come together,
in love's full climaxing bilateral embrace
we turn our identities future side down
a pace
in this HereNow timely space.

We each come to redeem our Ego investment
born of Earth's long-spun
cosmic fun
regenerating narrative,
double negative binding Identity
creating SuperEco-Normic
sticky Bliss

Is not
Love without Beloved,
Beloved without Love

neither alternative could be
me without you
within me
both equivalently
must be
gummy We.

Premium Member The Good-Bye Kiss

I lay, half asleep in the dark morning, listening to her get ready for work.
She opens the door to the dressing room, turns out the light,
and cautiously moves in the darkness to the side of our bed
where she feels her way with her hands up my body,
accidently caressing my ********,
to find my face and give me a good-bye kiss.
“Have a nice day”, she whispers;
I groan in a sleepy reply.

I hear her go down the stairs and into the kitchen.
I semi-consciously listen to the sounds of a quick morning breakfast being prepared.
I hear her gather her work-day stuff;
open and close the front door;
and open and close the door to her car that I imagine is frost covered
in the still dark driveway, illuminated by a lone, fog incased street light.

I hear the sound of the car choking to a start and drift away down our lonely street.
I relapse into a deep, morning slumber.

Awakened by the sound of the front door opening again;
I wonder what it is she forgot this time.
I follow the sounds of steps coming up our stairs and
feel the slight smile being painted on my face
anticipating another good-bye kiss and, perhaps,
another accidental brush against my still erect member.

With eyes still shut by left-over sleep, I mumble, “Forget something?”

The quick, bright flash of light accompanying the loud bang from the loaded weapon
are the last sensations I experience in this life here on earth.

Whether it was her;
a paid assassin; or,
a random crime -
I will never know.

For the Love of Lust

I'm a fiend for you…
I'm scratching and itching to get that next fix
this ain't no confession to some IG bad bih
this ain't no open letter disguised as poetry to see if
these seductive sentences might put us together
you see it's my love for you
its the reason why I'm always lusting after you
its that I gotta…I gotta have you feeling
and I know you feel them vibes
but I'm also patient so I await patiently until it's the right time
I lust after that walk...the way your hips move
it's so smooth got me wanting to explore you
and every part of your body to see how you react
you're my drug I need you
even when I don't get that fix at that precise moment
I want it, I'm patient
so there's no way I can relapse with someone else
you give me seductive vibes
I love the passion of affection
foreplay when it's foretold
let's forego those motions where nothing is held in
just pure intimacy between you and me
whether it's lustfully discreet
or making love on new bed sheets
stroke my ego, whisper in my ear
"I want you you deep inside me"
let this moment be pure and open
give me the best of you
to the point where I'm daydreaming about it next week
I want my toes curled, my knees weak
I want you to take all my energy
when I climax while you watch me erupt
I wanna experience this feeling more than once
because I'm deeply in love with lusting after you

Good By To Night

now i have been forgotten
sun goes also deep sleep

not to be remembered
you speak to me and i can't
hear you

why does this feel so comfortable
stuck in the dark so pitiful

fleeting thoughts never stop
i'm still alone , in this mind

as i walk this lonely road
starry eyed girls swing their wings

beckoning me to come and join them
washed in the pale light of night

the resistance is against the sun too
blocked by no thought instant drama

wasted hours , cemetery relapse
all comes from the dead

forever longing of the morning
even if a storm comes it would
be a change

frightened and isolated in this train
of thought
believing if i could fly i would

so nothing matters on this side of day
good by to night is what i say

Sat here lonely in the dark

Sat here lonely in the dark
Mood so low, iv lost my spark
No joy from the little things
My mind black when the birds sing

Always stuck on what to say
I wish this illness would go away
Bored as can be, concentration zero
How do I go from zero to hero?

Can't say the words I want to say
They come out jumbled anyway
Insomnia hitting hard
I wish my life was like a hallmark card

Trying to watch TV to unwind
It's so difficult when your stuck in your mind
Withering away piece by piece
I have so much I need to unleash

Bitting a stick to stop the agitation
Any loud sound is an aggrevation
Hospital or wait that's my choice
Death feels like something I could rejoice

Darkness follows even in the light
The body always in fight or flight
Cortisol low, body breaking
The rest of my life is mine for the taking

Sat here lonely in the dark
This relapse has really left its mark
Another weekend of trying to survive
I am still grateful I'm alive

But when the darkness takes over
It leaves my mind to over exposure
Dark thoughts flood the mind
My life becoming hard to find

Sadness is a dangerous feeling
It's your whole life it is stealing
Sat here lonely in the dark
Bipolar really has left its mark

Come find me if you must
I'll be in the window turning to dust
Another weekend battle to fight
Fight it I will with all my might

Sat here lonely in the dark
Come and find me if you must

Kombucha Trilogy With Chia Seeds Spells Molotov Cocktail

(particularly when nursed at room temperature)

I learned that Kombucha
best be kept refrigerated lest
said probiotic drink
served at room temperature
(incorporating live bacteria) erupts
chia seeds flying everywhere
potentially causing
serious damage to consumer
as nearly happened to yours truly,
nonetheless patronizes company(ies),
who manufacture
aforementioned healthy beverage.

Analogous to other fermented brews,
one must cultivate an acquired taste
regarding delicately sipping Kombucha
now if you will kindly excuse
wordsmith henpecked and
away from Macbook Pro
fortunately satisfied with poem thus far.

Hello, I got back to laptop
today - December fourth 2021
after few hours elapsed
got hunger pangs
during brief hiatus
experienced relapse concerning
craving vegetarian hypocrite's delight
meat product constituted chicken sausage,
which greasy entree
invariably caused cholesterol to spike.

The missus (a plump carnivore
to the bone with plucky constitution)
vowed never to purchase
named poultry appurtenance ever again
so help me dog, cuz she
(connoisseur of gluten free foods)
attempts to promote healthy eating.

Indeed buzzfeeding body, mind and spirit
courtesy fruits and vegetables
ideally, preferably, and undeniably organic
helps me feel emotionally,
mentally and spiritually fit
able, eager and willing

to staunch the flow,
whereby yours truly
would become deceased,
thus imperative to jot obit
before that instant I exit
stage door left,

the only occasion witnessing
ala bumbling and fumbling performance
(despite unalterable fact that
life haint no dress rehearsal)
courtesy painless suicide
exhibiting true grit

regarding one generic long haired
pencil necked geek,
whose demise undermined,
when his lovely bones
deteriorated analogous to
rotted fascia and soffit.
