Rambling words
Time on my mind
So much left behind
Life stuck in rewind
Doing my best
Trying pass life's test
As I bumble my way
Through each day
Learning as I go
Because I wish to know
If it was even worth the battle
My bones now rattle
The bodies way to tattle
Of choices wrongly made
Hoping to make the grade
Nothing was ever meant to last
Time starts moving so fast
Life's a blast
Sad
Glad
Mad
Different aspects of one emotion
Depends on the notion
The eye
Never sees a lie
But the heart
Falls apart
Always seeking a new start
But wants it to begin the same way
Wake up it is the same day
Find something new to say
The rose
Seeks a nose
So you pluck it up to die
Take a moment to cry
Beauty wasted
It's gift you tasted
Then tossed aside
It's beauty it couldn't hide
Worlds collide
So much left to say
Just not today
Mind resting
Failing all the testing
Words running loose
Which words to choose
Which to let go
Just to grow
You never know
All these words I find
Floating around in my mind
My crazy mayhaps
I'll take a relapse
Reality I try to grasp a hold
But it always starts to fold
So I have been told
Wasting time
In some rhyme
It doesn't cost a dime
Playing with some word
Never to be heard
