Human life is sublime creation of Him
Every birth has certain intent.
Preaching or praying
Can’t get you the unsurpassed Moksha
Indeed, He never anticipates them
Identify the chore and accomplish it.
Obstacles may hamper your attention
Continue the journey without stopping by woods
Action and result are like water and a lotus leaf
Water can never make a lotus leaf wet
Let not your mind get agitated by the outcome
You carry out action ; He manifests result.
If you rejoinder your conscience,
You can steadfast in front of God.
But God questions only those who evade
What is stupendous? Living after dying.
I SURRENDER
Mystic misty night took entry.
Sky spreading starry tapestry:
Charm and wonder!
Sea waves rolling roaring swell, bulge.
Aqua opulence drifting in surge:
Simple splendor!
Forest full of flora-fauna.
calls my curious persona.
Wish to wander.
Magic and marvels of Nature
Sometimes miracles to capture.
Smart rejoinder.
Lilac lavender love trying to feel
with glamorous amorous thrill:
Ardent ardor!
I surrender.

Let's be real
I'm the deal
the big dog
handing out slapdowns
I'm on a crackdown
I'm taking out the trash
I'm a digital jokers ass
cope harder!
reality is not your father
your ego is a disaster
wasting your time!
arguing online!
so here's a witty rejoinder!
you smell, smelly smell
you smell, smelly, smell
you smell, smelly
nothing they say will convince me
nothing they do will thrill me
pushing their agenda on me loud
but here I stand, proud
I'm here every day
I'll never go away
Argued with a tag
Lost my rag
why can't you be constructive?
while I am so productive
feeding your ego each day
while I slave away
chained to my keyboard
with nothing to say
I smell fresh light wafting
near this dissolving darkness
I hear its faint ringing
the second hand ticking
while the refrigerator hums
and the distant driver drones
I tensely anticipate
the first tweet to ripple the silence
a tentative answer
an assertive reply
a confident rejoinder,
the ensuing cacophony of chirps
and
the distant driver cross fading
into the morning commute.
So
right now
in the warmth
of this darkness
before
the tiniest
glimmer
glints
before
the bubble of dawn
creeps in
and blasts it away
before
it's burned
in the cold cruel reality of
all consuming light
I'm holding onto this
precious moment
This is the wife’s rejoinder to my earlier post – HUSBAND. Of course, both are written with male and female perspectives and are a figment of my imagination.
I thought I married a scrupulous, true gentleman,
how did he ever become a sly, conniving ‘yes’ man?
When did he ever buy me a real precious stone?
All he does is buy the cheapest American clone
My husband believes he’s as funny as they come
I humour him all along, in front of his adoring mom
He thinks he wears the proverbial pants at home
I let him be, as long as he is willing to stay home
Not that his company is preferable to that of women
Once outside, at women he’ll gawk, men will be men
All his show and admittance of love is just a farce
Most men are narcissistic and selfish, love is scarce
I had expressed many a time my undying love for him
He says I am a good actor, and I should do well in a film
He’s romantic though, but always at the wrong time
His spirits, high during dinner, are out before bedtime
Let me say the most truthful thing ever, however
The truth that takes root, lasts in our heart forever
Neither man nor woman is complete in all aspects
Only together they can be complete in all respects

Emblazoned with your monogram
Call me your little coin
Design of us more sacred than
Meteor's noon anoint
Howling homeless Winter lingers
Fingers in our trove
Should cruelty a blizzard bring us
Brave summoned in droves
Prisoners whispered confidence
Shared worries are gone
Mortar between us is credence
Knife edge secret sworn
Bearers we, of mightiest sword
Armor repels feeble
Donjon detains nightly reward
Rejoinder agreeable
For every required expenditure
Little Coin will cater
Conjured to find replenishment
Future emblazoned
Energised by mammoth missions
Carved as arrowhead
Morale for your instinctive vision
Richness never spent
26th August 2020
I took my dog for a walk on the beach.
Ran into Karen and she started to preach.
Plastic bags times three; filled with doggie debris.
People polluting the beach she decreed.
I smiled politely turning to continue on my way.
Apparently, she had a whole lot more to say.
I listened disinterested and mostly ambivalent.
Thinking, how could anyone be so ignorant?
When a seagull swooped by and did something magnificent.
It was the perfect rejoinder to this entire incident.
Without displaying too much emotion;
I wondered, how much of that gets dropped in the ocean?
Karen’s face was filled with disgust.
Now a parting shot just was a must.
Imagine if we tried to bag the lot of it.
Could we fill our oceans with all that plastic?
I tipped my hat and headed on my way.
Wishing Karen, a most wonderful day.
