Wife Precious

This is the wife’s rejoinder to my earlier post – HUSBAND. Of course, both are written with male and female perspectives and are a figment of my imagination. I thought I married a scrupulous, true gentleman, how did he ever become a sly, conniving ‘yes’ man? When did he ever buy me a real precious stone? All he does is buy the cheapest American clone My husband believes he’s as funny as they come I humour him all along, in front of his adoring mom He thinks he wears the proverbial pants at home I let him be, as long as he is willing to stay home Not that his company is preferable to that of women Once outside, at women he’ll gawk, men will be men All his show and admittance of love is just a farce Most men are narcissistic and selfish, love is scarce I had expressed many a time my undying love for him He says I am a good actor, and I should do well in a film He’s romantic though, but always at the wrong time His spirits, high during dinner, are out before bedtime Let me say the most truthful thing ever, however The truth that takes root, lasts in our heart forever Neither man nor woman is complete in all aspects Only together they can be complete in all respects mbfarookh

Thank you once again, Darlene. Both have their weaknesses. Yet both want to cling to each other. Some people revel in a chaotic married life. Blessings to you!
