Premium Member Greeting New Year

Hail this New Year for life’s fresh ascent
Endow me with joy of dawn's laughter;
I would hold all to my heart’s content
And write scenes of a merry chapter
Filled with days gold and nights softer …
Oh, bless the seasons! Who could decline
January to autumn's bower …
When months become sweet tokens, divine?

Flame this world with quietude, well spent
On unity like one blessed tower
In need of peace… let man be content
With freedom’s  gift  through love-light  power;
As continents bridge , hour after hour…
Though time marches on , show us how fine
Love gleams in our homes like spring's flower…
Twenty Seventeen, come, be God’s wine!

Premium Member Pull of Bliss Magnetism

Observational quietude centreless
yet immersed in attention quanta
each packet of trance upon release
stretches void of silence continuità

As internalising attention in stillness
is distilled as our default orientation
stagnative fears and desires recede
throb of bliss our flowing meditation

Innate affinity choosing prioritisation
the potential desire becoming kinetic
manifesting reality as ourself chosen
pull of void alone bliss pulse eclectic

Gradually thus recalibrating our core
resonating with divine omnipresence
mind body identity shifts in alignment
becoming one with the bliss essence

Premium Member Sky Of Silence

The titular template
of lyrical loneliness,
serenading spaced out
the upbeat ethereal
mystique melody
of dreams cadenced
with rhythmic quietude,
invigorated by
the rhapsody of
the million idyllic steps
I walk,
setting free
the hesitating heart
that quivers with
the wilderness willows,
the concrete contours
of inflexible essence
repudiate intractably
the catharsis reprisal,
I find a placating place
at the serene edge
of the stalled time,
sense sedated
by the sound of silence.

All the dreams
blaze to emotive ember
in memory inferno,
swathed by the ashes
I breathe besieged
the smoky past,
whisper hollow words
to the amorphous air,
for I have nothing
more to say,
and silently float
in the sky of nothingness
with splintered awareness,
the sulking space between
the slices of soul,
where frail feelings
get frozen,
the lattice of desolation
is configured
with the shards of
shapeless desire,
turning to illusive images,
as they soar
to void oblivion
in the solemn sky of
silence…

MEET ME IN MY SOLITUDE

I sank deep in her sweet song.
She started on soft soothing prelude.
      Flooded in mild melody
          She rolled into gentle interlude.

Being floated in my fancy dream
whelmed to swim with joy in plenitude.
       Music mesmerized my heart.
           Lost myself: She reached postlude.

        Symphony surged silent soul.
How to thank, paying her gratitude ?
Told,’ Where may I meet you Ma'am?'
               Tune resonating in quietude.

          Mystic lady smiled little
                 starting new music in prelude.
         First sentence was voiced as
‘Come and meet me in my solitude.’

Premium Member Heart Lotus

Within our heart, two pure lotuses shine
Love enabled, in an invisible void
Quietude of stillness, makes them both one
Moments sublime, when we feel overjoyed

One lotus looks to sky, other to earth
Rippleless void in between, the mirror
As veils thin, colour of love, empathy
Sensing each fellow beings hearts tremor

The false falls away, as desires recede
Meditation our orientation
Love our sturdy steed, lower cravings weeds
Infusing in our heart, pure compassion

Now a hollow shell, with love magnetised
Childlike innocence, draws in the current
Ignition renewal, within our heart
Suffused with bliss, our native element

Lotuses bloom, becoming a bliss mist
Spiritual light, soft white, radiant
Heightened is our delight, through day and night
Purity of soul, tranquil contentment

The Stranger Man 4

I will guard not against rules, but my conscience
And never shall exult in the esteem of men
For we all are brothers and sisters and friends,
Offspring of the muck whose bosom we embrace.
I live my life like a passing wind
Gently surfing through all the matters of life
Engendered and crafted by the hands of humans;
I view all things and weight their values.
They, as of a running stream on beds of rocks
The waters never lie still or become absorbed
So that water and rock cannot conjoin
So is my life with the materials of earth.
Are mine to find acquaintance….
When the heavens mourn, plants flourish,
When heaven is at its brightest moment
The plants of the earth shrivel in misery?
Yet they complement a cultivatable life.
I shall adapt to the intrigue and go my way.
I am brimmed full of her…life, life, life…!
Her great bowel is fraught with stale noise,
And she breaks wind into the atmosphere!
I am disgusted and will wander off
Wherever I shall have the balm of silence.
Silence is the overall answer to the
Nagging conundrums of the world.
I have had enough of the din and roar, now
I seek wisdom in the quietude of nature.
In a million of roar and hullabaloo of life
I find not a lesson to take to heart
But in a single word from silence
I have acquired a million lessons!
I will live in the prudence of silence and
Quiet my name, my pride, my ambitions.
Lo, the silence of God and the silence
Of nature makes me uncomfortable
To see my vain humanity and cravings
But in that shall i seek safety and solace!
Much has been the noise about love and
Peace yet to find. I shall deny myself goods
And seek peace from the alcove of my heart!

What is more to life, to eat, to breathe,
To be honoured or to acquire goods?
I tire of this humdrum existence.
It is one mind from bad to good,
It is one spirit from Jainism to Islam,
It is one flesh from poverty to wealth,
Only the result from the aura tells.
Hear, both tears and laughter have
Complement my health.
A man in a cell is being restrained by law
And same a man on the open street is being
Restrained by custom and constitution.
A man who knew was once not in existence
And cry to have come forth from womb
Why weep again who is to be gone to oblivion?

Premium Member My Favorite Legend

A prince born in the cradle of royal opulence
in the picturesque vale of the Nepal Himalaya,
Siddhartha Gautama renounced worldly life,
turned a mendicant, embarked on spiritual quest.

Striving to escape the mist of mundane illusions
in the mortal life of overwhelming ignorance,
mind intensely controlled meditated beneath Bodhi tree,
until awake enlightened to become the Buddha.

The tanets of his teaching seeded in the Gangetic plains
flourished as a new spiritual concept of awakening,
spread beyond the shores of ancient India
to emerge as a world religion, the Buddhism.

Distressed mind withdrawn from the sense-responses,
stilled in the quietude of mindfulness,
finds the beam of divine light at the end of dark tunnel,
the righteous life gets the insight of wisdom.

Unsatiated cravings open the floodgate of suffering,
leading to karmic cycle of dying and being born.
The Buddha, my favorite spiritual legend, showed the way
of liberating the soul to attain the essence of nirvana.

The Peripheries of Love

The Peripheries of Love
by Michael R. Burch

Through waning afternoons we glide
the watery peripheries of love.
A silence, a quietude falls.

Above us—the sagging pavilions of clouds.
Below us—rough pebbles slowly worn smooth
grate in the gentle turbulence
of yesterday’s forgotten rains.

Later, the moon like a virgin
lifts her stricken white face
and the waters rise
toward some unfathomable shore.

We sway gently in the wake
of what stirs beneath us,
yet leaves us unmoved ...
curiously motionless,

as though twilight might blur
the effects of proximity and distance,
as though love might be near—

as near
as a single cupped tear of resilient dew
or a long-awaited face.

Premium Member Silent Scenes

The calm, composed Coconut Beach of Cambodia
Or the Galápagos Islands of sublime sereneness
Boats of quietude sail through the seas of Utopia.
Stream, brook, sunrise, sunset—nature's flowery floridness

The breathing of butterflies and the blooming of blossoms
Confessions of Cherubic Caves and Covenants of Clouds
Desert islands and deserted monumental chasms
Fancies of farms, fields, forests, fishes, flocking feathered fowls

Monasteries and museums in meditation moods
Readings of reeds, restings of reptiles, river reflections
Slow snake-skates, snowfalls, stargazing space-spa solitudes
Turtles and tortoises, all underwater attractions.

Sacrosanct silent scenes share stories splendid and sublime.
Like millions of melodies, within soul cells they always chime.
