Nightmare

Blood stained eyes
Gaze upon innocents sleeping form,
Malevolent intent
Spoils the promise of blissful slumber

Beauty immeasurable,
As naive eyes twitch with dreams
Of purity and grace

Seething abhorrence
Guides twisted hands
Towards violent deeds

Warm sweet breath
Exhales from un-kissed lips,
Wet with remembrance and anticipation
Of life’s wonders yet to be lived

Horror screams
From now waken eyes,
As an incestuous destruction
Of one’s self is committed

And the very soul of god
Is ripped from the now ruined vessel
Of what was once,
Innocent’s sleeping form.

If I had Someone

Then I would try to be a good
Give love, less dark, but heart

Less, reduced my life, radical
Can’t. Be. Need help. A wise

Work. My heart. No goal. You
Come. Can you? Fill your life

Your glass. Drink. A red wine
Enjoy. Still living. Life. A blood

If love is the ruler. Crash life
I can’t accept love. Kill it far

Killed. New life, feel the style
I needed love. Shut my life

Oh. Thank you. Grave says
I need you, death is wretched

Woman. Waited. English. A
Bye. Far. Mental purity. Dust

No English Psychology!
No, by it. Dust. Woman far

Albion. Missed mist. A ghost
Amazing. I loved. Clear dream

I loved. Wanted. Lost. Hearts
Our loves. Kids. Hmm. Stones

In. Inside.
More than

Heart
God

Satan

Love
God

Loved
You

Killed
Heart

Accept
Hell

Demonic
Love

Acrid smoke in the scientist’s bell jar
Blankets of chenille-covered snow
Crystalline carbon diamond star
Drips forming stalactites grow
Effervescent waterfalls’ dreams
Frothy-topped cappuccinos
Gelid surfaces of lakes and streams
Halos of angels in holy repose
Icebergs splitting from their source
Jasmine-covered pergolas in Spring
Knuckles clenched in fear or remorse
Love’s purest form sobering
Mandala patterns on frosted window
Newly-born flamboyant flamingos
Opalescent lustre of pearls on show
Pineapple-licious snow cones
Quills of the porcupines’ defense
Ringlets of great-grandparents’ hair
Steamy hot springs vapor intense
Trailing wisps of London fog air
Undulating winter foothill maze
Veils of fine tatted lace purity
Wieliczka Salt Mine passageways
Xilinous spider webs artistry
Yahrzeit candle flame in memoriam
Zephyrus ballooning sails on a whim

Premium Member A Sober Limerick

I only drank one year, a while
I vastly prefer self-denial
Didn't like myself more
Back when dates *tried* to score
Now I've let them go, with a smile :)

Never got totally wasted
(Well, didn't like how it tasted)
Just pressured socially
So tried it, just to see
I confess feeling... disgrace-d

Drinks didn't bring out the Real Me
By NOT drinking I feel more... free! :)
A party-er --I'm not
I'd rather maintain Thought
A sober, clear mind is the key

Had to be socially distant
Even lost friends in an instant
When I chose to give up
Alcohol in my cup
Making my firm "No" consistent

I am sweet enough as it is
Without a dose of champagne's fizz
Ix-nay gentleman-tease
Don't gotta people-please
In order to please Him/ Be His

I am still a work in progress
Improving, I think, more or less
Haven't drank -- 20 years!
--Cuz it just interferes--
With the Faith, Hope, Love I profess

Do I miss drinking? -- not a bit
(Never enjoyed it, I admit)
For purity, I strive
Don't wanna drink and drive
Now to "have fun" I'd rather knit

Don't care if folks think I'm old school
For following the Temperance rule
Drinks brought joy-- not a lick
Only made my soul sick
Peer pressure is UN-COOL! :O

Un-hard lemonade is my fave
With fruit smoothies, too, I behave
Water keeps a good girl
With no desire to hurl
But-- the need to be brave

I found a group where I fit in
(Abstinence Association).*
"Heroic Offering"
is a good daily thing
Gives purpose while I avoid sin

Part of my true character traits
Is belief that True Joy awaits
Since I trust in Jesus
I know Heaven sees us
I'm inspired by the saints -- the greats

Can't say I'm perfect -- not at all!
And if you say I am -- I'd "lol!"
Character defects? Yes.
But NOT drinking in stress
Keeps my life's problems small

Premium Member Why My Heart

Why?

Why, my heart, you

Perpetually, are yearning to:

See the unseen

Hear the unheard

Feel the unfelt

Touch the untouchable

Attain the unattainable

Believe the unbelievable

Think the unthinkable

Conceive the inconceivable

Know the unknowable

Appreciate the inappreciable

Express the inexpressible

When,

No other heart would ever be able

To understand the purity of

Your language,

Your honesty, and

Your aspirations

Unless

It is totally submerged,

Into

Love's divine depths?

Premium Member Concerning Self Learning

From K to 12 there is that bell
That goes off writing the word with the correct spell
Run youngster class is over now have some fun
When year fourteen rolls around
Higher education academic can be found
Where the lecturer can be heard chiming in, “I’m done”
“Go to the library the books will say welcome”
Sixteen years in total
Of Intelligent building exercises to put into the brain’s folder
All this, what to get a job?
When opportunity knocks and turns the knob
Actually it is preparing for life
And the contributions to society that at times combat strife
Learning is maturity
An investment that on the surface has its purity
Enjoy the time in the intellect’s hall
Then make this call
Interpret, ponder and question
Take away what you want from the lesson
In the real world
Of researching paychecks for pearls
That only ends up encountering a diamond that is real
The education decision will show that it was the right deal

Drones To the Day To Day

A world in which we let ourselves get lost in, is one
Stripping purity away layer by layer, it is one we do not notice
Until we realize who and what we were is a product of past
Dreams and wishes. We let ourselves get turned into drones
In order to pay our bills which Is normally stacked upon by
Greed and self loathing, trying to improve yourself to the
Medias standards by stacking falseities causing you to
Drain what made you you, into something so fake that
You cant even tell its not you. We are told to vote for our
Next puppet to lead us, distracting the simple for upwards
Of 4 years into thinking they are making a difference by
Focusing on everything except ones self and their neighbours. We are lost. Including
Myself, wasting days and days upon social media reading
The same story of depression just with different names
On a day to day. Murder here murder there, while we turn
A blind eye to everyday enlightenment that constantly
Throws itself at us. This poem may not take the form of a rhyme
But its something on my mind all the time, so ill use this canvas
To alleviate the mind of a simpleton trying to remain pure
In this world of glass houses which we constantly cast stones
Upon. The sad part is, almost no one will notice until
We cast the last stone at the final glass wall and it comes shattering
Down with a generation of hate and discrimination.

I will not quit, I will try my hardest to become enlightened
And proceed onwards to enlighten. I will try my best to not
Waste each and every non guaranteed day. I will use these days
As a tool of attaining knowledge, and I refuse to fall
Into this day to day drone creating system.
I am me. I am different. I will be enlightened.

A Song of Faith and Resolve

A Song of Faith and Resolve
Some say yes to Satan to reach their goals,
To sell their priceless soul for fleeting glow.
But I, Christen Kuikoua, declare, "No!"
For I have the Lord God Almighty's hold.

It takes hard work and reading of His Word,
It takes a bond with Him to truly see,
How best to praise His name in purity—
The Lord of hosts, by whom all life is stirred.

So I will wait; I trust His perfect time.
My song is mine, and none can sing it true.
Though mocked and scorned, I’ll stand and see it through,
For Christ once asked, “What’s worth your soul's sublime?”

The answer’s clear: there’s nothing—absolutely.
And so, I ready for the day He calls,
When poetry will echo through the halls,
To guide the world to know His love more fully.

Once, I dreamed of music just to succeed,
Yet heard His voice, “Who do you say I am?”
“Christ, Son of God,” I said, with heart aflame,
Who bore my sins and met my deepest need.

I see now: it’s not fame that I pursue,
But worship, born of Spirit and of truth.
To dance like David, free from worldly ruth,
And seek His Word for wisdom ever new.

Why choose the easy road, the devil's snare?
Why long for hell, where tears will never end?
The blind, though sighted, cannot comprehend—
Their ignorance traps them in dark despair.

But I, like David, praise the Lord, my King,
In wealth or want, His glory fills the earth.
Forever holy, He defines my worth,
My God, my song, to whom my spirit clings.

Premium Member The Parlor of Prometheus - Part Five -

" Mephistopheles became a river whose current flowed in the wrong direction,
he believed that suffering could be eradicated from life,
absurd as lead being wieghtless,
his deviance led him to challenge my hegemony in the meditterranian world
during the climax of ancient Rome.
He became obsessed with silly theories of evil,
money is evil, war is evil,
vengence, dishonesty, greed, everything instrumental
to gaining competitive success Mephistopheles was considering to be bad,
he had gone insane
and so I immolated him to the Cosmos
and in loving memory I established a Church, an Empire, from his life,
I made gold from grease."

I was completely stunned by these revelations,
I nearly forgot how to breathe,
I was like a child lost in a labyrinth of questions, doubts & beliefs,
every walkway becoming longer,
every moment
darker, everything true suspect,
I was panicing through amazement,
I mustered the strength to ask one more question
before He dismissed me,
do you think you're evil,
the Devil said,
" I am remorseless, unforgiving and unmistakable,
I can be the pulse of your dreams
and the strain in your heart,
I am a purity so clean
that I am toxic to the profane; I am flesh."

Enemy

I dare you to dare me.
Prayers answered by fire,
will expose you to the light,
because you only thrive in the night,
taking them victim while they sleep, on long unplanned trips,
and tormenting them in their dreams.
I will be your victim no more, because
I am in the dark no more.
I wear red so I can put you to test,
since you will not let me rest,
It’s just a color after all.
Like blood, some roses are red
signifying life and beauty,
because life is beautiful.
Let’s talk about your favorite color,
white signifying purity,
although you wear it with no dignity,
It is all covered with stains and
you have no shame in trying to explain.
I said I will put you in your place,
so I can have peace and be at ease.
With you gone to where you belong,
I will finally say to you, so long.
