Delivery Room

The laughter of the wind .
The silence of winter.
The punishment of determination.

As she pushed and pushed ! Moaning to get him out, it was the realization of stubbornness being born.

The father in those dark times , dissapeared like snow in spring drowning his shame and sorrow, in dirty skirts and cheap whiskey in dodgy corners of the Jozi city.

Just before he got his head out of the placenta... he had a vision! A prophecy!.
Life was never going to the all "rainbows and unicorns" but sweaty palms and lonely nights.

There was light! At the end of the tunnel , because Pa returned to the Delivery room.
With the realization of who was coming to the world.
An Artist but not your everyday Picasso.

In the Wake of Talk the Walk

A mother moans and bleeds
as tiny perfect feet
are swept downstream
motherless, unseen.
Plastic bag trashed with Life,
Placenta, - water borne
Small death-barge beached,
shipwreck complete.
And yes, it makes nonsense
to roll and tip wastage
bowled cold in sea
awash with bags -
unchecked, they won't decay.
Bottom heavy hidden
hoards face upwards...
broad surface breech
straight into heaven's sight.
No shift from 'No' to 'Yes' -
Angels hear those cries,
due date cut short
by ritualistic
ungodly rights.
Not entitled
to death certificates.
Undeck the family tree,
untie the bows.
the baubles were so pretty!
"The Way, the Truth, the Life"
Born to give life
for all who died-
gave breath to hope,
so resurrection
of tiny ones, deprived,
will give them back
their right to live.
Precious blood election,
no child degradable.
What would you think
If all washed up
on your shore, in your berth
Non-biodegradable?
The please think twice...
At least once more...
God's heart bleeds for baby.
He or she lives
safe in His mind.
Let's heed the need
to walk the talk divine.

Mother Earth Day

Within womb universe’s birth
nebulous placenta housed
seeds of life and white lily
billions of years in future

mid-wifery lady Madonna i.e. Gaia
twill abort... cancel... fail
cosmic amniotic fluid infinitesimal kernel
unknowingly intimated mother earth

giver of extant flora and fauna
unleashed post big bang cosmic explosion
galactic matter ala Jackson Pollack
across void

impregnating fecund celestial field
embryonic entities
germinating gamut multifarious
floral fauna spectrum

primordial soupy miasma
evolving millennial timeframe
distinct organisms *****sapiens
master exploiter oblate spheroid

usurped emiment domain
epitomized goddess of fertility
silent ovation humanity
predecessors ovulated

promulgating tentatively robust
quite pathological population
within clustered cloistered
substantial redoubts

mollycoddled, nursed
swaddled by ancestral
gracias moma mia
abba cud dab bra figures,
whose maternal role

guarded vulnerable progeny,
outfoxing invisible World Wide Web
building inexorably linked network
indomitable strength
against wild things
guaranteeing subsequent generations
flourishing webbed unbridled success
prompted contemporary bipedal hominid

chance genetic dice throw
origin of species weathering travails
horrendous maternal sacrifices
inducing acknowledgement
unknown female forebears!

Take Me Back To My Mother's Womb

Take me back to my mother's womb
A peaceful place where eyes remain closed
Not to witness the tragedies of this world
Where ears hear not the horrifying sounds of this earth's brutality.

Take me back to my mother's womb
And let me stay there where worries and sorrows are absent
Let me stay there where day and night makes no difference
There where food and clothing matters not.

Take me back to my mother's womb
Where I will forever rejoice for I will be having
No idea of whatever is happening on earth
Because there, exist no one else but myself in my world.

Take me back to my mother's womb
And let me swim alone in my amniotic fluid
In a world where jealousy, hatred, anger and bitterness
Exist not for the placenta allows nothing malevolent.

Take me back to my mother's womb
For the world today is rotten, chaotic and painful
Meliorism is the only inspiration we have
As brutality dominates the earth with ruthlessness as a new norm.

Life on earth is full of tears
The future is doomed and hope is lost
Please take me back to my mother's womb
Because that is where I wanna stay forever.

Premium Member Memorial Day Night

it is tonight
an ambling gale most serious
chewing through orchard husk
to focus the locusts shrieking
themselves lost but by their own
skittish clamor
and crepuscular chorus
hollow for the streaming stars

now see the girl emerge
who is all of fourteen years
blonde and blue
with red ribbons tied
from the heart of the wood
rich with thickened entanglements
of moss and wolfen things
and her wicker woven basket
spilling cherries on the meadow
next to a naked orchard

she rests there tonight
exhausted from childbirth
to hear the song of the wolves
as they feast on placenta

in the morning she wakes
at dawn’s early light
and calls to the orchard
that the meadow has blossomed
blood-red poppies
and whispers a prayer
for her step-father’s son
and all those lost to the howl
and all those condemned
by the preacher’s daughter
through decades of slaughter.

Seed - scattered strewn or downtrodden.
Grain stuck on passive flytrap mucus.
Wild life biomes ripe with open sesame.
Frantic birth pangs stiffen their gestations as green leaf ferments bubble underneath.
Mother of all wombs, diva pulse or fertile runner bean.
Maternal youth.
Eternal youth.
Bamboo shoots that wave their infant tassels
in a windmill vane.
Future plant life leveler a wobbly wellie earth crunch.
Squelching noises tower over brown air pigment mulch.
Sweet pea treasure’s
plot or topsoil script, ploughman’s pen an agri-birthmark issue.
Acorns cling to feather beak and claw with migrant species casually dispersing airborne clan.
Pity the poor bacteria as they bear their own strain.
Mediators in regrowth,
life cycle go betweens who skirt around infinity.
Pregnant life force signage points at blossom, branch and blade.
Father sky, whose azure blue tarpaulin watches blithely as we earthlings bloom like algae.
Captain chlorophyll, the sunshine nabbing pirate rules the waves.
Sugar dazzle booty on display for fortune hunters everywhere.
Placenta of the rural outcrop overstretched.
Nourishing, replenishing yet prematurely procreates its progeny.
Compost layer genus code emulsions where thorny splatters worm themselves inside.
Gene pool mirror drapes its vibrant colour wash on foetal lime bow and arrow twigs.
A prism to some rainbow tint or shaft.
Muddy waters percolating sluggishly through all those clay born matrices below.
Our natural breeds now wet nurse turf ground offspring.
Nutrients absorbed by network carriers- sprout and stem WIFI eco-mates.
Elevator of the undergrowth in embryo.
Going up going down.
Timeless womb your time will always come.

I WILL NEVER BE A POET

I stopped dreaming after defying the reaper.
My existence has no shine,
I cling to life like a suicidal soul
flirting with its own boundaries.

Reckless, never fanatic,
I spit out their dogmas and their pantomimes.
I cursed their god after reading the Black Code,
and the infamous bull of a pedophile pope.
My shroud has been black since the placenta.

I will beg for neither approval
nor recognition from the butchers of my lineage.
My convictions burn like torches
in the corridors of their anti-Black empire.
I will fall with weapons in hand,
like those zealots they demonize,
never believing in their mirages of paradise.

I try to beautify my hell
by feeding my rage with the tormentors’ suffering.
Above me, a sky without brilliance,
and on my page, the dark ink of my soul.
My demons chatter like Israeli bombs
that tear through Palestine, decade after decade.

I come from Africa,
a land plundered like its mines and its fields
that have fueled the West for centuries.
My eyes carry entire mass graves,
rivers of blood dragging the weight of oppression through centuries.

I still laugh before the cross of their Christ:
that impostor never crucified my transgressions.
I blaspheme without effort,
when they pretend to teach me humanity.

I was born free on a planet that feels like a prison.
Welcome to my nightmares:
we are locked inside a jungle
where there are no victims,
only prey and predators.

I am a beast clothed in wool,
ready to bite when vengeance
becomes the only offering capable
of soothing a spirit torn by human barbarity.

I will never smoke their pipe of peace.
I am at war,
like those child soldiers
whose innocence was stolen
to be remade into machines of blood.

The Unopened Gift

He walked upon her in the woods
Lying there, with placenta and blood on her skin
He didn't question where she was going
But knew where she had been

~unwanted, unloved, unnoticed~

He cleaned her carefully
Removed the dead weight and stains of sorrow and grief
He dressed her in royal gowns
Daily changing her value and belief

~desired, delightful, distinct~

When she was grown and ready for love
He gave her a precious stones to wear
Her adornment was a testament
To LOVE's extravagant concern and care

~powerful transformation~

She began to walk among the people
Whispered gashes flew through the air
Words tore her garments
And left her naked to the judgmental stares

~unworthy, undeserving, undone~

He watched from His window
And saw HIS LOVE packaged in an unopened box
Sworn off as a harlot with no lineage
They began to pick up rocks

~thrown away, thwarted, taken down....

down, down, to the very ground

                she came up from

What can LOVE do now
When siblings break their own
Rejection is endurable
But family fault finding leaves the redeemed, in the silent alone

                of the abyss

                      what courage can bring

                               LOVE out of this

She walked away, into the great unknown
With the garment of humility around her waist
Her head bowed low, and gait amiss
With all she'd encountered and faced

~with LOVE~

Seasons passed as she drudged through the days
Looking for LOVE to find her again
She had come to the line of despair
And almost gave in to the lies she discovered there

~abandoned, average,aloof~

LOVE showed up and caught her next breath
Giving back what she believed to be gone
He said, "You are the UNOPENED GIFT
My LOVE has chosen to ride upon

~given, golden, glad~

Rejoicing in the moment, HE took her away
To a City made of gold and jewels
A place where difference is accepted
And creativity with LOVE, rules

Data Centres ain't Cultural Placentass

Each ivory tower needs so much power and water

Society is the fall guy for the pie in the sky AI lie

Cultures savaged ravaged caricatures by vultures

Slyly trying to deflower mother nature’s daughter

Dodgy dealing resources stealing planet’s reeling

Preach each data centre like a cultural placenta

Layers peeling players say mentor no glass ceiling

Am a lamenter of break neck tech wreck dementor

No healing waste from haste paste without feeling

We’ve heard it before the computer is our future

Smoke and mirrors AI on the fly the latest suitor

Us all just a data commuter for a leech not tutor

Beseech purloining then coining no way to teach

The conceit of the deceit is an elite cheat ripsnorter

Train bots brain rots turns us into tots & lots of have nots

Only glower of people power can stop the slaughter
