Karmanifesto

I have found new ways to shape your view of the world

I am the last coin that drops into the cash till
I am the bank statement that makes you feel so ill
I am the busker on the corner who can rap and rhyme
I am the sirens call when you stock up on iodine
I am the flickering light of the bulb that will grow dim
I am the mother of nature telling you not to give in
I am the last drop drippin’ from the tap in the sink
I am the only thing that pulls you back from the brink
I am the blank screen on your useless device
I am the reason you won’t ever think twice
I am the neighbour asking you for bread and water
I am the lamb brought to your innocent slaughter
I am the the cat who knows so much more
I am the rising flood coming up through your floor
I am the poor little child who keeps asking why
I am the only answer that can ever satisfy
I am the dead tone ringing on your stupid phone
I am the reason why you do not feel alone
I am the refugee camping on your balcony
I am the true meaning of serendipity
I am the burning banknotes when you get cold
I am the empty shelf when everything is sold
I am the last shelter when you’re home is gone
I am the secrets deep inside you that you have known all along
I am the joker who cracks you up when you have no more fun
I am the rebels song that is ready to be sung
I am the beggar knocking hard on your front door
I am the reason why less is more
I am the beginning of your end and the end of your beginning
My name is Karma Love Kid. By me is pervaded all these universes.

Tale of the Book

The book contained their history—
Years of servitude and plenitude,
Years of gloom and bloom,
Years of darkness and redemption.

They were bound by the chains of the unknown,
Seeds of anguish were strangely sown.
The land was the footstool of malevolent spirits,
An enigma blanketed it.

It was a battle of the seen and unseen,
A war against malicious forces,
The sages searched deeply for answers,
Sojourning to secret chambers for redemption.

Hope gradually wore thin,
And the courage of valiant hearts began to fray,
Their steadfast minds were steadily pierced by defeat rays,
As a deluge of recalcitrant assailants descended upon them.

A rebirth came with the arrival of the sages,
The spirits of the forest were summoned,
They joined forces with the elements of goodwill
And defeated the malevolent spirits,
Chasing them to the abyss of nothingness.

Pride filled the heart of the new ruler,
Who boasted of the sovereignty of his reign,
He disdained the Divine and the watchers,
But one day, darkness suddenly pervaded his palace.
He was gone, and so was the book.

Premium Member Lament

Highland heartache echoes in midnight air
In ruins the castle lies woebegone
Sadness reverberates so be aware
Lovers' painful lament in ghostly song.

Ruins are pervaded by history
Fiery affaire went totally awry
Highland metaphysical mystery
Hush and listen, you will hear sad sigh.

Castle chapel ruined and forsaken
This is where you will hear song of lament
True love endures forever unshaken
Soft gossamer kisses they are content.

Should you hear echoes of this haunting song
Passion will find you enduring and strong.

In a lucid dream, which seemed so real,
atop a hill I saw monks, in deep trance
and although their eyes were closed, I could feel,
dance of living light, in their bodies prance.

Wonderment being my heart’s undertone,
silent bliss thunder pervaded my form,
etched deep within my core, so mine to own,
thus in timeless time, I became the storm.

I woke up from sleep, looking for a sign
and sure enough I felt my spine aflame,
in as a humming pulse of love divine,
which has since remained, as my claim to fame.

Now ambling along, I sing a love song ~
Blissful, joyous heart, taking all along

Rising Panic

The heart that beats does scream as my chest tightens,
A sound so sharp it bleeds from me, my every will.
Hath only the mind to break my faith and frightens,
My soul under deep now slaved shall ever be still.
The body does succumb to its own writhing,
I beg this moment cease, the play of such filth,
Like fertile field, every second upon me scything,
It reaps from ground the bounty that blood forth spilth.
The eyes spiral through with sight of mind distorted,
While blind despair does spread as thoughts afflict,
My world falls down, both shapeless and contorted,
I cannot break the grasp that chains constrict.
Into my every being it has pervaded,
The man who weeps as his soul degraded.

Mirth and Grace

“Caress the broken heart with threads of muted sound”,
Let it rejoice for the tranquil it has found,
Take the wheels of its night sojourn,
Bring it to the daylight region.

Sing to the broken heart a symphony of hope,
Lift it from the downward slope,
Massage its wounds with a healing balm,
Still the tempest and bring it to calm.

Bind the broken heart with cords of joy,
None of these will any time cloy,
Let it rise from the gloom,
And come to a bloom room.

Broken hearts don't see the light,
It’s hedged from their sight,
They yearn for a soothing embrace,
From hearts pervaded with mirth and grace.

Premium Member A Humanity Plan Poem

In the beginning….a long time ago…man discovered aggression.
He lived and survived
then with passing of time
existence was no longer dependent on a combative mind.

But he continued to see power in his macho ways.
Aggression perverted….resulting in malaise.
Barbaric lessons learned
Bullies created….and superiority desires yearned.

And hatred pervaded….and took deep root.
And before its appearance
in the alleys and streets
sprouted in the mind….grew in the heart….and now it repeats.

Violence does not come in only one form.
Real peace and tranquility will never ensue….until they become the norm.
For an onslaught has emerged once more….and if we ignore
Circumstances will ignite….a deplorable war.

And if malevolence continues to rise and advance
Care….love….compassion….does not stand a chance.
So who is to blame?…. Is it you…or is it the other?
This hostility against….sister and brother.

Change is possible in the hearts of men
but perceived strength needs to be reformed….and the questions are how and when?
Leadership….support….protection….should be the true qualities of man.
Now is the time to give birth….to a caring humanity plan.

In the beginning….a long time ago….man discovered aggression
lived and survived.
And now during this moment in time
blissful existence impossible….without a peaceful, noncombative mind.

Premium Member Flowers of His Thought

He came to me and gently brought,
the fairest flowers of His thought.

Joy arrived with euphoric mums,
softly as the hummingbird hums.

Purity blown from baby’s breath,
ever innocent until death.

Peace pervaded purest poppy,
tranquil bliss nothing can copy.

Happiness borne from pure lily,
butterfly wings, dainty and frilly.

Gratitude from feathered pink rose;
praises for His blessings arose.

Humility spread bold bluebells,
silken as bunnies’ cotton tails.

Faith that flourished in bright iris,
no other bloom so desirous.

Hope sprung forth from gladiolus,
comforting as lotus’ solace.

Love effused from fan-shaped aster,
greatest from our Lord and Master.

Graciousness shone from all flowers,
teaching of His perfect powers.

Truths To Live By

Time of life,
Time of strife,
Time of purpose,
Time we suppose.

Nobody can tell what's behind the veil,
We don’t want to see what’s pale,
Nobody can see what's behind the door,
We’re a far cry from the core.

Someone desires to wear our shoes,
They don't want any encomium to lose,
They desire flowery days,
Can they an edging turmoil face?

We can't escape life's midnight,
Even though our chamber is pervaded with light,
Every shooting star loses its radiance,
Nature’s music ends and halts our dance.

Time is not in our hands,
Time is beyond the sands,
Time brings and it takes,
Time placates, it also quakes.
