Our clubs annual event is a .Cabaret music
This is the day that the sergeant at arms i
is the key decision maker.

and the sergeant at arms is again the
fourth ranking member. From the Tuesday before the Cabaret until

We use a plastic bassoon due to the expensive prices of
the real thing. These acts will began the even of
food dance songs singing and performances.
often non members use the occasion to announce
there engaments or intent to find a partner.

(Free Verse)
Jules was a French circus performer who lived a long time ago
He performed the first mid-air summersault in the year 1859
Thus at the tender age of twenty-one he became known all over the world as the
"Daring young man on the flying trapeze" and that for him was just fine!
He love the circus life but more than anything he enjoyed to perform
Doing summersaults was one of the greatest achievements that he did
But it seems that every time that he went to perform up there in mid-air
He thought that the clothes he wore to perform with was truly not good
What to wear during his performances was all the time with him in his mind
After a while soon enough he came out with the right answer to all of his care
He invented for himself a close-fitting one piece suit that he could wear so well
Something that he could wear comfortably all the time when he performed up there
Today acrobats and dancers of all ages still wear it and this is history a true fact
And still we called it a "Leotard" too and this hasn't changed can you believe it
This is in honor for the one who invented it more for more than a whole century ago
"Jules Leotard" that's his name, "The daring young man on the flying trapeze! And that's it.
That's a fact!

My Life’s Greatest Performance
I’ll first thank, praise and glorify our God
For many good performances I had in my life
From doing my best at schools when I was a student
To one of their representatives in many big events
Making my family and community happy for my diligence.
If I’m going to think of my life’s greatest performance
I’ll choose from the list of my teaching achievements
Not to pick my loyalty awards or prize for efficiency
But my satisfaction for sharing my passion joyfully
To enrich my students’ skills, knowledge and creativity.
I love sharing arts and my poetry in teaching
Apart from my academic subject or line of expertise
At school programs and extra-curricular activities
My pupils recite aloud and interpret my written piece
Developing their confidence, standing in front with ease.
I could never forget the time when I wrote a poem
In our national language for student’s in-campus competition
I trained my pupil with her creative interpretation
Portraying three people while wearing chopped costumes
Successful delivery! At inter-schools, she also won.
Group of students also performed choral spoken poetry in synchrony
I was so glad when they went up the stage to receive their trophy
I also coached drawing, handcrafts and poster-making contest
And on summer time, I held my own art workshops for the rest
My greatest performance was my students’ win or success.

Like playing on the field
Hopes and dreams, dramas
Lived out – in breathless moments,
Silence creating intriguing promises,
This is life – like the show, theater
Performances, the series that assures
I’ll come back for more – life’s roar,
The aching of a heart who longs for paradise,
Heavenly shores, where there is more…
Love, like the key to inspiring
Hope, like the crucial in truth
Faith, like the answer in prayer
Breathless promises pour from my veins,
Opened by light, broken apart
By the sweetness of a sign sent from One
Who answers my prayers, advises
My dreams and promises me to listen
Reminding me to simply believe –
He is the wonder of every peace
He is the sweetness of every grace
He is the light that reflects all praise
I am His child and He is my life – without Him,
There would be no joy, no hope, no peace
Without Him, my best friend, there would be
Pain without end – darkness that can’t be drowned,
A feeling of loss that would never be able to silence
The doubts, the grief, the never ending chaos
That comes from doubting the One who is God’s only Son!
He is mine and I am His
So very thankful for His gift of grace – His forever embrace!
It all went off without a hitch
To everyone’s relief,
With unity throughout the land
The overall motif.
The swearings-in both made me cry,
The tears a sweet release,
The opposite of those brought on
By rioters and police.
The musical performances
Did more than just uplift,
So powerful, each one was like
A sorely-needed gift.
And how about the poet?
Poised and passionate, a thrill
To hear someone so eloquent
And young, with so much skill.
At last, the speech we’d waited for –
He spoke of how his soul
Would help respect democracy
And make our nation whole.
The past four years have brought us down –
So many couldn’t cope,
But now today, I think we can
Allow ourselves to hope.
Finally leaving the stage after
Twenty seven encore calls
A huge sense of elation as
The last curtain finally falls.
There’s all the media interviews
That she has yet to face
Then perhaps she can retreat
For a while to her private space.
Treated like minor Royalty
When she visited her mum
Back home in Barnsley after
She’d danced the Sugar Plum
Meets with the Toreador
To world wide praise and acclaim
Boosting the popularity of Ballet
To make her a well known name.
They called if Ballet meets Martial Arts
In its brand new and radical form
With just a little adjustment period as it
Settles down beside the accepted norm.
She’s toured the cultural centres
Of the whole of the civilised West
Where her radical performances
Have Easily passed the quality test.
She’s contemplating retirement
Doesn’t want to tour anymore
Would really like to settle down
With her beloved Toreador.
The Arts world is in turmoil
As it enters the current century.
It’s as though it’s been released from
A hidebound cultural penitentiary.
They’ve all had to put away
Their rose tinted glasses
As this new art form is welcomed
By the uncultured masses.
To be fair they are trying
To do their very best.

Is soon to be put to the test.

Long live "The King"
gone to soon before his time
man, he could sing
he sang and acted earning every nickle and dime
His voice so diverse
he was absolutely one of a kind
every teenager was so immersed,
when he sang"Always on My Mind"
Young and handsome till the day he died
although there have been sightings
women of all ages have cried
you can still catch a glimpse of him under Walmart lighting
His performances stayed with you
as he sang"Blue Suede Shoes"
and "Loving You"
but i guess he paid his dues
Obsessed with drugs
he lost the fight
and lost his life to those same drugs
on that dark night
From a small hick town
all the way to fame
then he fell down
leaving his name
