Premium Member Christmas Without

Christmas comes around once every year
Feeling of happiness, toasting good cheer
What does it now mean? I ask myself
Material things replacing god's wealth?.

What about people who go without?
Tummy loud rumbles when hunger sprouts
No home to keep them dry, safe and warm
Sleep out all night from dusk through till dawn.

Parents with no money to buy food or toys
Second hand clothes for their girls and boys
Breadline living no comfort or joy
No work for people, no jobs to employ.

Visit to food banks for something to eat
Donation of shoes for children's young feet
Loan sharks percentage payback plenty more
Twenty first century - modern day poor.

Adverts and television entice and tease
Buy now pay later, tempt buying schemes
Debts soar high at commercial gain
Children now wanting latest new game.

Parents trying to do their very best
Homeless in doorways rest tired heads
No one to talk to; pensioners sit all alone
Choose between eating or heating on.

Privilege sit in their ivory towers
Making the rules controlling by power
Reality does not affect their own self
I'm all right Jack sod everyone else.

Christmas is more than feasting and gifts
Jesus was born December Twenty Fifth
God sent his son to save us from sin
Born in the stables, no room at the inn.

Man's greed and for power still lives on
Many have forgotten god's only son
Kindness, compassion, help others out
Birth of Lord Jesus what Christmas is about.

Trance

4/30/21

Minor or major changes in the asteroid belt
Ice caps and ice sheets continue to melt
Experts speculate on whether or not devastation will be dealt
Moved around or always in the same place they dwelt
Actions were insincere or they were heartfelt
Too many are so quick to pelt
Another and give them welts
Been going on before and after Roosevelt
Close and far from areas with Elk
The same could be said for waters with Kelp

Welp
Does no good to yelp
Just got to help
Myself
Instead of collecting dust on a shelf
Because it's not going to come from someone else
Need to focus more on my health
And the many different ways of accumulating wealth
Staying out of sight due to stealth

Hard to see at first glance
From the potency and amount often in a trance
If needed, pivoting with the stance
In order to advance
I got to take a chance
Close or away from forests filled with plants
And lands full of ants
Across the entire expanse
I partook in a rain dance
Near a field with haystacks

On a planet with wild and tame cats
From here to past basecamp
Going in and out of cane grass
It's recommended to make an effort ASAP
If you don't you just may stay trapped
So they say that
Ever since way back
It's been the same crap
Fame and cash
Saw it coming or fell into the laid trap
People betray fast
Do more move on, or do they want payback?
Whether a small or large age gap
So tragic whenever a train derails off the train track
Or when there is a plane crash

Beginning of a Different Story

Have i failed them all?
Have I failed my masters?
Have i failed myself?
Have i failed the world itself?
Or have i merely lost a battle?
Is this not the end?
Is this just another beginning
Of a different story?
One where I am doomed to lose.

Or am I just a fool for thinking,
I could win the situation,
I think I've lost it all,
And down I will fall,
They fly on higher,
Looking for another master,
Is this mask of mine,
Too thin?

I have lost myself,
Through the battles and it all
I have lost countless friends,
And one of them i cannot mend

No matter what I do, it will never be enough to make up for what I've done.
Is this my payback,
My vengeance?
I am a lost wanderer,
Going on endlessly,
Watching the blue sky fade to night,
And no matter how much I fight,
It'll never be enough for what happened that fateful day.

Has the darkness already won the light,
Have we all lost the fight?
Will I ever see them again?
Will I, oh, wil li, will i?
Or am I a fool for thinking,
I could win the situation,
I think ive lost it all,
And down I will fall,
They fly on higher,
Looking for another master,
Is this mask of mine,
Too thin?

Have they all seen through my facade, my act,
My everything?
I will never forget that day,
When, and to this day I pray,
That one day, one day
It’ll be repaid,
But no matter what I do, it will never be enough to make up for what I’ve done.
Is this my payback?
My vengeance?
I am a lost wanderer,
Going on endlessly,
Watching the blue sky fade to night,
And no matter how much I fight,
It’ll never be enough for what happened that fateful day.
(spoken)
I have lost myself,
through the battles and it all,
I have lost countless friends,
And one of them…
 I cannot mend.

Sorry No Time To Play Uno With Dada

Sorry...No Time To Play UNO With Dada!

Forgotten memory jarred
beholding two decks UNO
materializing from...thin air,
(Spongebob Squarepants nonetheless),
I vividly recall both offspring

as bubbly little girls
their most favorite card game
both daughters grown
into independent womanhood
(playtime verboten shunted aside,

they now chess attend Life)
relished with zeal
beating pants of this papa
feigned shock, when fingers
strained to the max

grasping bulk of cards
heard the word "UNO"
followed by profuse laughter
which round mirth
subsequently invited eager plea

to play board game "SORRY,"
outcome already predicted,
but yours truly,
he indulged revelling
giddy atmosphere,

and willingly acquiesced
arbitrarily choosing
least favorite color
arranging game pieces,
within designated starting place

half heartedly perturbed
nary a dice throw yielded
thee requisite number one
finally after Oracle of Delphi
bore predicted rout

with near defeat
meaning either lass
almost got all her "men" home,
aye cast die for numeral uno,
gingerly proceeded to roll dice,

a long shot ambition
to advance my four pawns,
and exalt with sought after
glee to edge ahead,
but lovely girls strategy
and motive (dispensing, donning,

trumpeting... retribution – payback,
when supposedly this “sir” mean)
uttered sinister laugh
as one or more selected
mine "men" almost home
happily sent back to start.

Here in this city we seek good reason
To do this and that for enough payback;
We aim just to see beyond odd season,
In fashion and fad, in easy and slack.
Our daily affairs involve a plain face;
A copycat wave that slaves this instance;
On voice box we stare in somber enclave;
And wait for fine saves in deep dark distance.
Between dawn and dust, the weathered charades;
Turn each to each now with blank, bored faces;
Then do what we must to venture parade;
Accept time's endow with empty traces.
Weary and dreary find solace in sleep;
Nightmares once dreamy grip worries we weep.

Looking Up At the New Light Ahead

looking up at the new light ahead
i have never been excited for the New Arrows
the green lights feel good after years of reds and yellows
i can now see new scenes and smell new smells
the stale stench of payback is behind me, and now my view is clearer

the alarm goes off, and we wake up with kisses
we are kids all giddy tripping over routines and plans in our nappy heads
i get up in the shower while she gets up on the cell phone
i know we will not come close to getting out of the house on time
however it is the thrill of the adventure that stops the concern for punctuality

looking at the new light ahead
i have never been so anxious for the upcoming memoirs
the nodding from north to south feels a whole lot better then the shaking from west to east
i can now tell new stories and inspire new inspirations
the offensive scent of ramifications is past tense, and now another dream is nearer

... it's payback time
for reckless meanderings of youth
laughter at another's expense
all mouth and no ears punk
now a pinball called karma
flashes a tilt sign inside my head...

A favorite hobby was banging heartstrings
until their heart chambers bled
now mine is liquefying.
Into a reservoir of regret.
It's payback time.

Self-inflicted wounds to this temple of flesh.
Now it's beginning to be a struggle
to recall
to walk
to think is to produce fog.
life is thickening and quickening
around the petals of time
it's payback time.

I once prayed for solitude
to escape from desperate masses
this bait ball called living
now as my circle steadily shrinks
I wonder what I was thinking.
It's payback time.

Dying alone is a disease of its own.
Alone is just beyond the blood horizon.
A couple of ticks until midnight.
The bait ball is whittled to one
It's payback time.

Cajun Creed Will Get Revenge

I've been doin' time, sittin in this jail cell for too long.
Yea, I made mistakes because I was headstrong
when I killed Isabelle, but it's what she deserved.
She ran off with my coke and money. That was wrong.
I want outta prison. Enough years have been served.

She was sent to New Orleans just to shut me down.
I ruled like I was a king, a legend in my hometown.
But that greedy French chick stole from me and fled
to New York. Did she think I was clowning around?
I knew I'd find her there, and soon she'd end up dead.

That's where Moon Knight found me to make a deal.
He was lookin for my contact, but I wouldn't squeal.
I got the best of him and knocked him into the river
after overpowering him with my muscles of steel.
He wanted my contact information, but I didn't deliver.

I found Isabelle and kept her doped up for five days,
Shot her up with drugs until her mind was in a haze.
She told me what she'd done with my coke and money,
then I stabbed her until she was dead, her eyes agaze.
That was payback, but that woman was smooth as honey.

I dumped her body on the Westside and felt no pity.
I was in a hurry to get back home to Mardi Gras in the city.
The plan was to make raids when people were at parades.
While the cops were busy, I'd get down to the nitty-gritty
then high tail it outta town and hide out in the Everglades.

But Moon Knight and his pal Frenchie, were on my trail.
They wanted to capture me before my tracks got stale,
and found me at the Fair Grounds, betting on a horse.
Tearing up a losing ticket I'd bet on a nag of a bangtail.
I fought them off and got away using strength and force.

I took shelter in a warehouse a block from Jackson Square
but there was no escaping again when they found me there.
I wasn't gonna go down easy and had my ice pick ready.
Moon Knight broke my jaw, throwing a punch with fanfare.
It brought me to my knees when my legs became unsteady.

When I'm outta this hell hole, I swear I'm gonna get even.
Been shut up in jail too long and tired of all the grievin.'
Moon Knight hasn't seen the last of Cajun Creed. Not yet.
Vengeance has kept me sane, because it's what I believe in.
You can put a C note down on that promise. Make that bet!

Sweet Revenge Discussed

A vengeful eye for an eye
but mind you, to avenge yourself
ain't easy as apple pie

Indeed a punch for a punch
or invite your foe
for a delicious
malicious lunch
to dish out nasty retribution,
yet revenge is a dish
 best served cold!

But a tooth for a tooth
will it actually soothe?

A horrid scowl for an irate pout
you scream coz she did shout!

Ah, that biting desire for sweet revenge
On the mind it can bitterly scavenge!

Sweet it might seem, sweet at first feel
but it's really more sour than an orange peel.

Then there's the danger of meting out in excess
There's a need to don self-control's harness.

One may try to spread retaliation evenly
on the slice of his arch enemy
Rat-a-tat tat on his door
for some payback tit for tat?

To chuck out all plots and thoughts of seething revenge
poses for man at times the greatest challenge.

Is it then so natural for this human brat
to cherish and relish a tit for tat?

But if so many of your chores complain of your negligence
you might as well put off too, all desire for vengeance.

Any wish for poetic justice, spit it out in poetry
Harbor no yearnings for getting even
except maybe in virtual reality.

Ah, alas as Jesus's humble way to offer the other cheek
is for ordinary man perhaps a task too docile and meek.

It's a day that will live on and haunt history,
When a once proud nation, took a leap back in time.
As millions placed their bet on a fat felon,
While a red wave washed away any crime.

Sadly, the majorities' voice was muted, as it
Whispered quietly all the way to the polls.
Where a fraudulent felon convicted a country,
To an incarceration term with heavy tolls.

What's been spoken of in the message is penal payback,
And its vengeful talons are in a Project 2025.
Now those of conscience easily warn of its folly,
As the puppet masters quickly turn to those alive.

This is a turning point in the ledger of liberty,
When the electorate turned its back on reality.
But if I dare to look forward and prognosticate...
We'll bear witness to social and cultural chastity.
