The cuckoo heralds their arrival
The scent of Petrichor confirms it
Falling into the tough shells of oysters,
Turn into elegant pearls
Falling on the hard coats of seeds in fields
Allow them to send tiny sprigs out
Falling through the ceilings of caves
Form hanging icicles
Falling from hills and rocks
Metamorphose into spectacular cascades
Falling on the ground and seep into it
Evolve an invisible sub-terrestrial water body
Falling on stones and pavements
Present a concert with rhythmic splashes
Falling on the flushed cheeks of the child
Tickle and makes it wriggle.
Place: 2nd
greens turn to orange
boughs glow midst red and rust bursts---
transformation bliss
brown blends with maroon
foliage radiates warmth---
vibrant canopies
sparkling leaves scattered
pavements beam with yellow gold---
season’s rhapsody
harmony of hues
alive with shades, tones and tints---

*Ecclesiastes 3:11 - He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

I've been sitting on my couch doing nothing
Procrastination has been a practice ever since
2018 is a sought year to make a big thing!
I'll slit laziness and cut it into mince
See myself productive making bunch of achievements
Plenty of time to make good things even better
I'll repair my wrecked dreams left at empty pavements
No single heartbreaks will be written in a letter
A brand new year for a brand new me
Everything will be on point leading to right way
No room for lame excuses and take courage to be...
I wonder what massive success waiting on that day
Promise to be untamed and motivated to my work
Better production will be seen next year like a firework
There’s not two ways of talking,
Two different points of view,
Many different angles to deflect,
Crazy pavements, something new.
There’s not another teller,
Presenting a link or chunk,
Framing circularly the story,
To nurture any cell’s hunk.
There’s not a plus one man,
Chewing a whistler’s closet,
There’s only freedom’s red,
To validate the vouch offset.
If Christianity is just an opinion,
And if atheism is only another,
Then crease the distance away,
To note the claim that’s sour.
Truth is the centre of entropy,
With love as its pursuit,
Freedom increasingly appears,
When you love and newt.
Christianity does not stand,
It’s wrong, in between, out,
Jesus was not god, scream,
Hell evades the bible, spout.
Fundamentalists lack sense,
Extremists yell strict, plight,
Homes should not be broken,
By crusaders twisting right.
Wrongness equally parasites,
Upon the strict and the stead,
So let contradictions vent,
The people who nurse lead.
Theology is not an opinion,
Relative, proportional, relational -
And atheism is not just another,
Reflective, pseudo and corporal.
Atheism is true, not Christianity,
So Christianity is false, not said;
Theology is faith unleashed,
Pulling a negative entropy head.
Science is behind atheism,
Winking at the lips in method,
Meandering like lightening,
Through guesses of the cathode.
If you seek truth you will find,
But if you say Jesus lives today,
Physically, then you need to stop,
Saying I can’t say the other: nay.
Corners
Corners desert themselves in shadow
In smooth angular edges they dissolve
Gone in the lowest denominations of notes
Corners have never had meaning
Or care in the world
No one remembers their names
It is obvious to all involved or concerned
Concrete pavements fill in the blanks
Chalk traces an image of bodies once there
Ended on sidewalks that erase the scene
Washed away with corners in the rain
Collapsed with compliance in complacency
Never standing for anything
They take buildings with them
Around or about the same time each day
To desolate places out of reach
Deserts I think
And play or toy with the idea of being
Anything other than being cornered
the sun comes up and shines it's face on the Cape flats bringing a warm exciting warrm atmosphere in the suburbs. So we wake up with a vibrant feeling exciting our iner being. Packing up our journeys curly cone juice and cones.
It's the chocky, strawberry and many more flavours to entice you. Hey hey don't forget the wafers just to sprinkle a extra wafe of pleasure. You over two or even three but just not more cause your stomach might not understand you want more
The ice creams are gonna make you smile. Come one and All the curly cone Van is here. You will lick and taste with your stomach crying for more
Liking, eating and we are bringing you a taste from heaven... It's chocky strawberry banana and many more flavours to entice you. Hey hey don't forget the wafers just to sprinkle a extra wafe of pleasure. You over two or even three but just not more cause your stomach might not understand you want more

Waiting for the curly cone Van everyone is waiting on the pavements screaming with excitement just to quench their taste buds that is hearing the smoothing, hipnotic music calling your children near.

Faint scents still linger, as summer slowly fades.
Sun silently hides behind smoky clouds,
as raindrops hum in a jaded symphony,
plummeting against misty windows,
vibrating against puddles upon pavements.
Leaves drift in the chill, revealing bare branches,
rustling in the breeze then soaking on the ground,
as gloomy skies colour moonlight into monochrome.
As shivery spirits seek shelter,
swan song flowers soak in melancholic tones,
reminiscent of a forgotten mother's lullaby,
whispering softly, but never faltering.
Nature's nakedness consumes the aura of my oasis,
as cold ghosts reappear, reflecting in resentful regret.
Ebony hues discolour the textured illusion of my rainbow,
as my soul serenades its harmony for hibernation.
Children of summer are like a leaf,
vibrant with colourful hues in spring,
but misplaced in Autumn, easily carried away with zephyrs.
The facets of love.
I love you, and your face loves itself
for its perfect nose, green eyes and rosy lips
your fragrance has a narcissistic allure.
The way you walk, the pavements adore you
Rain shies away not to make your hair wet.
I love you, and your face loves itself.
When you cross the street horn bleats
by themselves, white cars turn pink
your fragrance has a narcissistic allure.
The sun doesn’t burn your skin makes
it golden glows in the dark
till one day the mirror tells of a wrinkle
you know years are ganging on you
your enemy is time, wait in the wings
The furrows settle on your forehead
I love you but your face doesn’t love itself
Car horns do not blare anymore
Get off the road, you lazy old woman.
Your fragrance of youth has lost its allure.
THE MONUMENTS MARK OUR EVIDENCE
Stop! Wait! Be Still!
This isn’t the way to heal!
Tearing down statues of the past,
Removing the passion behind what we feel.
Listen to my urgent cry,
You’re not destroying what was,
It is our Ebony Trail of Tears
Our reason, our because.
Just because it’s history,
doesn’t make it beautiful,
Laws made on our misery,
To them, to kill us, dutiful.
The monuments mark our evidence,
To rid them is not suitable,
Will not remove what’s relevant,
Only making our cause more prevalent.
Teach now your children harmony,
Love than hate our musical,
No longer enslaved by memory,
Teach them your freedom beautiful.
Still yes, they are stone memories,
But let them not make you relive
They are the pavements of our history
A past from now we’re healed
Here on invigorating fresh lovely day,
one can lazily saunter along the way,
through each winding street so alive,
where the heart’s bound to thrive,
each. and. every person that I meet,
is quite friendly, warm, and sweet,
throngs in cafe with trademark verve,
plot some schedule, sway and swerve,
in my role as that astute observer,
I absorb prevailing charm and fervour,
paths, pavements, highways, parks,
they compel instant recall of amusement,
from impish childhood and boisterous larks,
forever etched and somehow fondly linked to,
evolution of historic town’s bemusement,
never ever shied away from embracing anew,
preservation that monument forever to the fore,
past and present composite of lasting merit,
world so truly modern, vintage world of yore,
impetus for our future offspring to inherit
