AUTUMN SIGNS

greens turn to orange
boughs glow midst red and rust bursts---
transformation bliss

brown blends with maroon
foliage radiates warmth---
vibrant canopies

sparkling leaves scattered
pavements beam with yellow gold---
season’s rhapsody

harmony of hues
alive with shades, tones and tints---
God's artwork displayed*

*last stanza added after contest was judged
*Ecclesiastes 3:11 - He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
