Watching the Olympics news
coverage today
Sadly this is the conclusion
i came to afterwards
Our British male duo won gold
in the synchronized diving event
Brilliant yes of course an
unbelievable achievent
But given more than any other
sport the clue being in the name
It should be equal appreciation
and praise for each as without
the other winning is simply
an impossibility
So how come then i know who
Tom Daley is but don't even know
his diving partner's name
Maybe that's because he was
made to appear or seem
totally irrelevant by the media
news coverage
After the pair won they cut to
Tom Daleys family his mother
husband and their baby
Then we see Tom being
interviewed , Tom singular
on his own fielding questions
mostly regarding his personal
life and sexual preference
And thanking the LGBT
community for all there support
Exactly what that has to do
with diving i hold my hands
up i do not know admittedly
i am no expert on the subject
But personally for me what
i found was the real kick in
the teeth smack in the face
As i for 1 absolutely love and
breathe sport the gift the ability
the dedication the sacrifice
Was how it was constantly
infered it was only Tom's
dream since he was a young
child to win a gold medal
Again personally and only
to me what i seen goes against
the very ethos and ideology
of what the Olympics itself
stands for
I felt so sorry for him and his
family as Tom family husband
and child got more coverage
than he did
I tried to put myself
in his or his family shoes
and tried to wonder
How they must have felt having
their joy pride stolen and cheated
from them
Reduced merely to a bit part
or side show to the main event
And again i protest because
the clue is in the name
Synchronized Diving a duo
a pair a partnership a team
1 simply can not without
the aid of the other 1 win
So tell me where on earth
is the justice and sportsmanship
to be found here
And his name by the way
just incase you missed it
or care is
Matty Lee and he to also
wanted to be and win a
gold medal
And was just as dedicated
and trained just as hard in
order to achieve and make both
theirs dream a reality
Rather than as the press and
media barely refer to him as
Tom Daleys diving partner
or the other guy
Having experienced the Almighty’s goodness
to our dear Motherland ---
I envision her as constantly enjoying freedom bliss
vis-à-vis accountable responsibility-exercise
among people diligently led by government officials
exemplifying servant-leadership
as they earnestly seek the Sovereign’s guidance
in their endeavour with faith and practice
to fulfill our Constitution preamble*
with daily thanksgiving gesture.
In partnership with the authorities
I entrust to God …
… myself and fellow citizens
for the prioritization of family nurture
nourished with loving responsibility
strengthening home buttress
along virtue values’ pillars
promoting accountable parenthood
along children holistic development program
simultaneous with pedagogical endowments.
Beholding functional geriatric welfare at work
midst relevant andragogy advancements
I view my country with adults and grandparents
basking in their senior years, glowing
still met by physical, mental, emotional care
welcomed with psycho-social health accessibility
as everyone is braced upon hygiene
of sanitation anchor, exhorting cleanliness
recognizing ecological preservation
cognizant of next generations and their future.
With unity’s cord tied by blesed righteousness**
I cling to the Supreme Commander
for the prevalence of peace and order
midst imposition of lawful justice system
balancing truth with mercy
while reaching-out to the less fortunate
toward wholesome lifestyle betterment
vanquishing power-abuse
combating parasitic dependence-mentality
through the fruition of “Love thy neighbor as thyself.”

False promises and bold faced lies
From leaders we call men,
Too foolish, vain and unwise
It’s the election blues again.
Feign to believe the web they weave
With patient ears we listen,
Future balanced if they achieve
From deceitful eyes teeth glisten.
In principle, fate is our blame
Yet in our selfish pride,
Our judgment shadows woeful shame
Behind scapegoats fail to hide.
Ballot fiends they all may be
Watching poll numbers, plus or minus three,
What will their victory bring to me
After January twenty-three.
Subsidized youth sports, gun control
Child care dollars galore,
A policy a day, and truth be told
Campaign gifts are a chore.
What matters East-West-South ‘n North
Is that we get it right,
While opponents bicker back and forth
By cable, bus or flight.
Success depends on unity
Without it we’re a wreck,
While one side suffers mutiny
The Grits give Tories heck.
The separatist Bloc` says “Let us go”
Demanding sovereign freedom,
White margarine and one-tongued-signs
Does Canada really need them.
The answer is, quite simply, oui`
We cannot tear apart,
Instead, honor all with dignity
And make a brand new start.
While men debate with pointed fingers
On issues big or small,
Our neighbor’s fear of terror lingers
With plans to build a wall.
Five billion they shall not relinquish
While bring East to peace,
Infernal war fires ne’r extinguish
Diplomacy for lease.
Denying partnership in war
To Iraq we didn’t go,
And up in space where eagles soar
Again we said “Oh no”.
Canada is not the States
Their future is not ours,
While Bush comments on us, berates
His future quickly sours.
When we look back upon these days
In golden years of life,
Will mirrored lakes obscure with haze
Too thick for sharpened knife.
Or does the future hold great treasure
For Canadians, one and all,
With strength and courage beyond measure
Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
Like years before, each voter chooses
With hopes and dreams of change and glory,
But in the end there’s winners and losers
Different writer, same old story.

Sire she's been sighted
two miles south of Sinai,
our sentinels say she has brought a river,
her baggage train stretches into the ancient sands,
the envoys of her retinue spoke of marvelous gifts,
beasts and creatures of the Orient
gems that glitter like the eyes of children
summer baskets of gold bullion
and satchels of spice from Siam,
our men said they could smell the barrels of balsam Sire...
To travel with such unmistakable wealth
the Queen must have brought a war machine along,
have desert brigands been spotted near the route...
No my King, no raider encampments have been observed,
just the regular rabble and agape villagers,
it's been confirmed that her associates
are passing to the people pouches of cinnamon...
I don't trust the Egyptians,
they may try to incite the Bedouins to foolhardy thievery,
our Nation's honor demands
that not even the dust of the devil's danger
deign to dry upon the clothes of her most distant servants,
if the House of Zion can secure a partnership
with the trading powerhouse of Sheba
our supremacy over the Babylonians will be indomitable...
I pledge my life, and that of my family's
to her caravan's safety Sire...
So mote it be General,
your loyalty is my blessing,
may it be as strong as the staff of Moses,
dispatch 333 of the Lion's Legion
to reinforce the Queen's guard
and send a circuit of 15 water wagons...
What does a Queen dream of
in the calm desert nights...
I dream of roses melting
into snake bitten hearts,
I've dreamt of citadels broken
by the grips of greed,
I've seen a child walking out of a tomb,
what does a King dream of
in the shadow of paradise...
I dream of thorned stars,
the division of labor and wages,
of priests and Judges
whom wish to rule quietly without blame...
Do you know what thrilled me the most
about the Court reception...
Tell me, my cinnamon Queen...
The seduction of your Servants' silence
as I entered your meticulous throne room...
I understood their awe,
you moved so gracefully,
your body like an ancient lust
your face a flame of royalty...
I think I fell in love with your eyes,
there is something rough about you Solomon,
but your eyes and lips
relay a sweet mercy to me...
Mercy is never free Veronica...
I will pay the price...
We will pay the love cost together...

You said you were happy
And seriously, why wouldn't you be?
You got everything you wanted
And somehow you think you've handled me
Because I've kept silent
Kept my own counsel
No longer sharing
My feelings or experiences
But somehow you have denied it all
Because nothing has changed here
You keep doing that **** you're doing
And I'm here expected to pick up the pieces (every time)
But like Mother Nature's rage
I'm going to explode if I don't walk away
My instincts have been honed
And I know that you'll never change
You'll always be in control mode
You'll always want everything your way
No matter the consequences for others
No matter the heartbreak and betrayal
So thanks for the lessons
Not so much for the memories
Thanks for reminding me of
Who you'll never be
So, thanks for the lessons
My worth is way more than you can see
I'm going to hit the highway now
Time to explore my Destiny
My bags are in the car
And I'm on my way now
You're standing at the door
Surprised that I'm actually leaving
You never thought it would happen
You thought I'd always be your doormat
But I feel more like a magic carpet
And I'm going to explore that
No more taking a lack of effort
No more accepting less than best
No more making excuses for your actions
No more thinking about possibilities
Because I deserve Love and Happiness
And I get to choose my Life Path
I deserve Peace and Comfort
Knowing I'm building a Partnership
So thanks for the lessons
Not so much for the memories
Thanks for reminding me of
Who you'll never be
So, thanks for the lessons
My worth is way more than you can see
I'm going to hit the highway now
Time to explore my Destiny
So thanks for the lessons
Not so much for the memories
Thanks for reminding me of
Who you'll never be
So, thanks for the lessons
My worth is way more than you can see
I'm going to hit the highway now
Time to explore my Destiny
I'm planning on being happy
And hell, without you, why wouldn't I be?
Oh, yeah!
Yeah!

I wanted a quiet evening, away from Proto
To order a pizza with loads of ricotta,
And write a poem, with not one interruption,
Savoring a glass of wine, without disruption.
Sounds perfect to me said a voice, let us begin.
I looked around no one was there except Lynn
My golden Labrador, the voice spoke once more,
It’s so pretty outside, from here comes inspiration,
Poems bring serenity,
But at times written in desperation.
The voice came from my poem I had just started,
I was delighted, felt elated could this be magic.
I believe that you talk, I’m no sceptic
You’re the words creating my poem and I a poet.
I will stay by your side, and together,
We will travel where ever, forever.
With a fame so destined,
Bitcoin will have nothing on us
We will kick up a such a lot of dust,
And create a great fuss.
Now don’t forget this is my poem, I explained, you only
Add if I ask.
Once upon a poem and rhyme,
Lived an old, old man called time,
No, no, no, said the words,
The cat,
Sat on the mat
And ate the rat
That is not poetry I shouted, you arrived in my space
Perhaps you should explain why you’re here,
And state your case!
Then I heard another voice, somewhat shrill
I’m so glad it said, chase the words away
I recognized the second voice straight away,
For I’d heard it every day,
It was my Muse, she sounded sad and was crying
You don’t love me anymore, my heart is dying,
So I assured my muse Patsic
That altogether, we’d create worldwide magic!
Oh good said the words, it was getting too much
And spilt a tear on the poetry page.
Now can you listen, please,
I’m not so young in age,
I can’t get so upset,
Glad we have all met.
Then continued,
The furry cat,
Sat on the Persian mat,
And ate a fat rat.
Still unacceptable, I said to the words,
Let me finish mine.
No, no, exclaimed the words, I want to try again,
The eclipse on the earth, orbiting into the moons shadow,
Glimpses the bright sun, and from a slither so narrow,
Stop, I said, that was good,
Perhaps I’ll let you finish tomorrow.
So you thought it was good, let’s do the dance of joy,
And as we danced, the words on my page
Scattered everywhere.
I looked at my new friend,
It will be an eventful, ecstatic journey for us,
This partnership of three, will I know,
Entertain,
Time and time again!
When challenged to ponder about inventory of survival-status
my mind succumbs toward sublime intellectual deconstruction
yet conquering spirit emerges to prevail with blissful glow
for triumphant testimony, exposing meaningful existence.
Analysis of faith’s wholeness
Exposes my vain worthlessness
Humbling me to seek God of grace
Completing me with love’s embrace.
When confronted vis-à-vis my understanding about the Almighty
with this vital spiritual question, "Do you really know God?
my predicament regarding the divine was then put into the crucible
an encounter that has become a milestone in my faith venture…
Faith-inquiry for the first time
Awakened my soul with blest chime
While pointed to God Who’s the way
The truth, and life I must obey.
When invited to a Bible study “to know the Lord all the more”
I declined many times being settled with my religious status
asserting that I believed in God, having been raised going to church
with parents and home, considered as good and well.
Bible study of faith-venture
By God’s prodding midst love-gesture
Did lead me to His gracious heart
And through trust, never to depart.
When I acceded to the spiritual endeavour expounding Who God is
I learned from the Scriptures His testimonies, precepts, and statutes
as well as His grace, mercy, and compassion, power and wisdom
that define and describe HIM as the Lord, and distinguish HIM as the Saviour.
Scriptures indeed exalt God’s name
Expressing what His truths proclaim
Granting me peaceful pardon peace
Thus, my skepticism did cease.
When I responded to the Holy Spirit’s gentle working
my soul received the promised life eternal offered by Jesus Christ
along His assured genuine freedom from iniquities’ condemnation
setting me toward heavenly abode along victorious journey.
Fortified faith upheld by God*
Ascends along His guiding rod
While Him I praise, thank, and worship
Serving Him through sweet partnership.
*Jude 1:25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

His voice soft and cracking,
Wanting desperately to start conversation. . .
Discomfort only letting out a few words from my trembling mouth. . .
The center of the audience,
Still alone in the embarrassment of my own silent, screaming ponders. . .
His laughing. . .
Laughing again to help me notice that he’s laughing for me—
That he wants me to join in too. . .
He reminds me I am overthinking again. . .
Sadly, in this sickened mind,
I oblige . . . a curl of a smile from my lips…
Noise coming out. . . JUST NOISE. . .
My mind elsewhere,
Not even laughing at the film in front of us,
Feeling pleasure in the superior feeling that he cannot hear me screaming something else,
Laughing at his evident confidence,
While others beside,
Are in other worlds. . .
All around,
Feeling the superiority of their own thoughts, no doubt. . .
Curiosity like a cheap flashlight,
Flickering on and off,
And then losing battery…
GET A GRIP YOU FOOL!
They are just enjoying a goddamn movie. . .
But we don’t care for a moment. . .
They want us to know that the fiction is far more exciting than our insignificant reality,
Temporary partnership. . .
And I want to give him attention,
Because I want him not to feel what I feel every sad day of my life. . .
I want him because people unwant him. . .
And he knows that they are not looking. . .
But I am. . .
And I always have been looking,
Targeting you from the crowd since day one,
Steering my attention away from the braced teeth,
The doubled chins,
The collateral cussing,
That guy's flexing ass,
The buttered crab in false paradise…
His elbow stabbing into my world.....
And I feel awful knowing the thoughts will never reach his own,
Just for a second. . .
And then I thank God that he is not a mind reader,
Otherwise he’d be reading his life away,
In the sticky pages of my thoughtless, void existence. . .
I realize it is just him and me in the room now. . .
As you pour your glass of rum,
We ignore your existence,
Looking in each other’s eyes in that fraction of a millisecond. . .
Nobody knows us.
Our minds are bedridden in disease and frictional bewilderment. . .
No one can ever truly see it. . .
No one, not even I,
Understands these thoughts. . .
And it is sickening to realize . .
But. . .
That is the perfection I have come to know.
Gracious fortress of caring fortitude
Guarding by their compassion’s latitude
Governing to soar through faith’s latitude
Guiding with attitude of gratitude…
God blest our parents’ love-packed magnitude!
Daddy’s chromosomes in his fatherhood
Blended with Mama’s genes midst motherhood
Nourishing fully healthy babyhood
Toward fruitful nurture of adulthood…
Yes, we salute their faithful parenthood!
With Dad and Mom’s steadfast, sweet partnership
Around strong and endearing fellowship
We, their children did learn wise stewardship
With glad followship and joyous worship…
Creating in us servant-leadership!
Good provider always – that’s Father
Gearing housekeeping skills of Mother
Indeed complementing each other
With their home-craftmanship together…
They’re role models to me, Sis and Brother!
Along their driving mentorship force
We’re trained to enjoy our daily course
To work well, shutting slothfulness’ doors
Warned against problems brought by debt-source…
Around contentment and commitment discourse!
As masterpieces’ molders, so clear
Dad and Mom with guidance, very near
Kept us counseled midst precepts we hear
To face functionally pressure-tear…
Oh, they propelled us with righteous steer!
In their consistent life-building zest
They sought God’s instructions for what’s best
Shaping behaviour toward finest
For virtues crest, inside values’ nest…
Praying for our future, vibrantly blest!
Championing kindness against hatred’s pain
Dad and Mom let us savour pardon-gain
With forgiveness pursuit, sans guilt’s stain
Freeing our hearts from bitterness-strain…
Making our home thrive in heaven’s domain!
They’re not perfect since we saw them pout
Sometimes, their assertions made us doubt
But they never failed to reach us out
With beware cautions against wrong route…
Now, we are on right track; “Thanks so much.” We shout!
As great heroes in their own right
My parents* radiated truth’s light
Constructing sturdy legacy-height
Victorious by the Lord’s grace and might…
Along priceless name yon treasures’ delight!
*Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

False promises can occur when you never hear them, but they are confirmed through action. As we walk through the rhythm of the blues we succumb to the feeling of depression.
Let the clock strike after the words have been sent!
Hark to the bells when they start to ring.
What care do we have when the person likes to reject others in open song
Can you hear the strike of the clock as her words of silence sent?
You hear the sound of the bells as they swing!
It is simple that we should not waste our time on them as we do not have it long!
Do not fear as your heart will come to know of her future of silence
The level and intention of your action is blissful, as she does not deserve your benevolence!
Her silence is detrimental as you gave your time in speaking to her, her silence is malevolence!
When a person makes time for you then it is great, when they ignore you then they have placed you on reserve. Do not let them keep you bounded in chains and then take you out to play for their amusement. When you gave them your time it was pure of heart, they are not used to a person that is genuine. Let them feel your coldness as you move away and they feel your absence. Afterall, what they want is not what they need. They want materialistic notions instead of genuine needs.
The genuine needs are love, compassion, time, listening, respect, commitment, and partnership.
To them love is through words and sexual intimacy
For you it through acts of service and all intimacy.
Compassion is the understanding of their pain and wanting to alleviate it!
They are the creators of pain when they make you feel bad about yourself.
Time is the devotion of yourself in their presence in any media form.
Listening is the action of hearing them speak or write without interruption.
Respect is a word they use for their needs, without understanding that it is given and not earned,
Commitment and partnership are similar as they focus on all the genuine needs; however, they are the practicum of life and inspiration for others to follow.
The person who hurt you the most will realize their missed opportunities to know you. They will then want to profit from your success because they have failed. Do not let them be the object of your downfall. Keep steadfast and loyal!
