Paradoxically, Wrong Time

we only wanted to be kids
not heroes.
we wanted to catch ships of clouds at the sky
not black seadevils in the drain.
we wanted lemons for lemonade
not salt for our wounds.

but there it came
the dramatic change of scenery
prohibition of dreams and innocence
he iron lung in the birth parlour
rabid dogs raiding the cathouse
curtains falling over our eyes
Mad Hatter suddenly cured & sane
Laura Palmer found safe and well
pitch-black darkness in the lighthouse
silver screen cockatoos on the loose
teddy bears in war with smartphones
hangmen having a morning espresso
moth children scared of Vincent Price
giant blood oranges with hematophobia
ballerina’s alcoholic husband tin soldier
drunk on moonshine from golden sunshine
such a wrong time to be a human being

paradoxically, we only wanted to be kids
at the wrong time

Infinite Athlete vs TeamViewer

INFINITE ATHLETEAMVIEWER

In a tale of twists & turns of rare fight,
Mason left the Blues in hinge sight,
And now, a TeamViewer in flight.
Cole Palmer departed City in dead night,
Becoming an Infinite Athlete so bright.5

One left his childhood team without renewal,
Only to become a TEAMVIEWER,
While the other left his "City" sets
To become an INFINITE ATHLETE.?

In the realm of football's grace,
He chose TeamViewer to embrace.
From Chelsea he did departs,
To share his skills and play a part.¹³

The other, a boundless soul,
Chose an Infinite Athletic stroll.
From Man City's loving start,
He embarked on a journey to chart.
Wonders of football, what a curious plight.¹8

Mount, once mounted as a Blue, now in Red,
A TeamViewer, navigating screens instead.
Palmer, from City's nest, a bold leap he led,
Now an Infinite Athlete, dreams ahead spread.²²

Mount's passes now fly through virtual space,
No longer on the pitch, in a different race.
Palmer, in infinite realms, finds his place,
Two childhood heroes, a change of pace.²6

Different paths they chose to take,
In hopes their dreams to awake.
United by passion, divided by fate,
Stamford Bridge battle, the Blues celebrate.³°

Wow, the irony, the sarcasm, rises high.
Mount and Palmer, reaching for the sky;
One in screens, the other soaring high,
In this beautiful game, where dreams defy.³4

A Rock and Roll Odyssey

I had a disagreement the other day
with my pal Floyd who passed my way

He brought his new sculpture for me to see
Floyd's a fine artist, on that we agree

"Wow" said I, "It's an Iron Butterfly"
"He'll soar with The Eagles right up to the sky"

Said Floyd "In the wings I set colored glass"
"That Deep Purple shade really lends some class"

"That glass is Pink, Floyd" I responded to him
"Your grasp of color must be growing dim"

"You're Bad Company son" said Floyd to me
"By the way, can my dog use your yard to pee?"

"Go ahead" said I, with a bit of a 'sheesh'
As he Led Zeppelin, his dog, by the leash

He told me he's taking his art on a tour
through Kansas, Boston and Chicago for sure

Then Floyd headed down to Emerson Lake
& Palmer his friend was there grilling steak

As for me, I'm leaving this Traffic and noise
I'll be spending the day down at The Beach, Boys

But wouldn't you know it, I broke me some bones
when I slipped and fell on some Rolling Stones

So Guess Who's sitting at home in a cast
and I'm hoping these Dire Straits go fast

But my Twisted Sister who just stopped by
brought some Cream filled eclairs and apple pie

Which brightens my Journey and makes me smile
and eases The Kinks in my back for a while

''Gangs of War''

When Good Of "EVIL," Run You Down, Remember
What Doesn't "KILL YOU," Only Makes You,
STRONGER, *Yes* Faith Can Break, But Our
Strength Of Heart Together, Shall CARRY, Beyond
To It's Highest POWER, Let Go Of Your FEARS, You
Are As Weak As Your Weakest Link, Don't
Patronize The Ignorance Of Foolishness, Bring
Back The LOVE, KINDNEsS, And CARING, We All
Once Knew, The Community...

Make It SAFE AGAIN, Towards Children's PLAY,
Not, "GANGS OF WAR," Bursting Into Plague,
Give It A Fighting Chance, Regain Your Balls Son,
Be Self- ConScience, Put Down That Gun, Don't
Leave Murder-Scream, Blood On Blood, Color On
Color, Doesn't Matter, Stop This Hatred, From
Ringing Out,Once More, A Blistered, Master-Mind,
Of No Peace,Kneel, Pray,To Our LORD almighty,
Rebuild His Gateway, And Reform The Community,
Back To It's Rightful Place...

WOLS EKPHRASIS
Tachiste,blot and stain,spontaneous of
the moment ,like life itself can so often be.
Small scale in composition,compulsive
unrecognised at the time, yet literal and
long lasting, are the memories we see
Inspired by Wols ‘Composition’ c 1950
PALMER EKPHRASIS
In a Shoreham garden,scent
of blossom fills the air,a white
blaze of spring to make every
heart sing.Impressioniste before
its time.A profusion of clouds
or blobs,dabs &extravagences
per se.This stylised enigma
proliferacy in a pastoral wood
by a once-upon-a-time teen-age
prodigy..made good.
Inspired by Samuel Pamer’s in
 A Shoreham Garden 1827

Moonlight Silhouette

He Tightly Wrapped, His Armed
Blanket Of Moonlight
Silhouette, Around Her
Gorgeous Body, Pressing And
Rubbing, Their Skin Against
Each Other, Deepened Its Soft
Breasted Pillowed River, That
Runs Loves Journey, To Never
End, Where They Entwine As
One Being, One Soul, One
Heart, And One Pulsation, And
While Merging Together, She
Envelopes Him With Her
Magma-Filled Volcano, As His
Staff Explores, By Plunging In
And Out, Of Her Inner Valley,
Sending Her Into, Electrifying
Epileptic Convulsions, Off
Orgasmic Pleasures, Grinding,
Deeper And Deeper, As She
Jumps, Higher And Higher,
Until He Reaches The Spot,
That Triggers Her Ignition, Her
Magma Covers His Staff, As His
Milk Spews, Inside Her Volcano,
Sleep Possesses Them, As They
Become Moonlight
Silhouettes...

Let There Be Light

C: Bone from Adam, creates
Eve, Nature seeds, Mothers
womb; and A miracle,
Breeds....
R: A child is born, life unfolds,
bodies with souls searching for
their goals, minds corrupt by
evil, and the journey of life gets
so cold....
C: Where Sin bit her greed, in
air, The apple-tree, selfishly
lyes, laid; Now poisoned, gave
us free hunger of will,banished
them in guilt, but GOD forgave
their judgement...
R: ....and held their hands,
bleeding the blood to once
again, give us the key to
eternal life,,,Amen...

The Angels Scatter the Almighty Thunder Nuff Luv Galour

A priceless road I find
dangerous game blasphemy,
Wing destiny. To my statue,
leaning forward and less
backward down helpless knees,
begging for A breadcrumb, asking
blood red wine. Quenching
thirst of the almighty to his
throne, for what we don't
know, we will learn to speak
tongue as we follow his
nameless lemon drop
in the lion's den feeding
all who starve... With thunder Nuff
Love!!!!!! God has handed
freely..... Striking, I dare not abuse
thy neighbor shooting anger
out thy hatred for the angels
scatter... A natures beast, Galour
Which has released mi from evil.... As we
come heaven's door,crawling
to meet his feet...... Tu wash dem
Clean.

Tribute tu di mi teacher, who has expanded mi mind to be A great writer; Richard Palmer..... Thanx mi friend and soul- mate for our strength will cury pon.
