The heart is pass'e
it's the brain that wins the day
All knowledge and thought beckons
as the noodle in your head reckons
The heart beats our blood in time
the brain is who we are defined
The heart now can be replaced
without our brain we are erased
Every triumph that man evolved
each problem and crisis solved
It was the brain that saved the day
by thinking our troubles away
Yet the heart feels for love
reasons cannot be found
the joy the pain of love
within our heart is profound
The brain can become dense
for love makes no sense
Reasons cannot explain
the hearts desires so vain
Yes the brain is a marvel to behold
In our hearts resides our soul.
Your eyes are orbs of light where untold secrets sleep,
they cut through darkness like arrows searching for lost light,
and in their depths gather loves and losses like rain in a cup,
unspoken stories burning silently, like embers beneath the wind's ash.
They seek hearts once open, now closed within their own silence,
reflecting dreams that do not die, but float like islands on seas of fire,
holding truths like pearls hidden in shells of shadow,
and letting slip only what the soul can bear without breaking.
Sometimes they cast a spark of disdain, a sharp cut of cold light,
other times they close, heavy with sleep, at the call of too deep a shadow,
but they awaken once more when hope steps again over the horizon,
and greet the dawn with a wisdom that cannot be learned.
Through the years, they bow only to truth, without masks, without lies,
for only the eyes can see to the end the sweetness and pain of love.
It is sonorous blue velvet,
a mitten with a thousand invisible fingers.
A concerto for dyslexic mystics.
The composer peeks nervously at the listeners
then rips open his uttering heart
until blood forms love poetry in the air.
We are all haunted by the music.
It cuts through our tangled underbrush
as a machete made of moonlight.
It speaks words
you always thought were yours alone.
Nothing comes closer,
it incinerates and restores
while rocking you into an oceanic euphoria;
a personal ocean
one larger then you ever imagined
could be contained within you.
Of cause only a Russian
can dish our the pain of love
and make you long for it.
Only Rachmaninoff
spellbinds while leaving you
stunned, wanting to dip a toe
into the deep tides of his God-space.
Raindrops in Early December
The sky dims its face
Depicting a wounded heart
Wounded by the pain of love
Trapped in the deepest pain
You have the heart to leave the bond of love
Love that has been planted in my heart
The turmoil of your love that feels like a fantasy
My little heart screams because of the pain
For years we have been at odds together
Love with millions of sparkling feelings
You once promised to always be faithful
But the road has run aground
Raindrops in early December shed tears
Flashes of lightning seem to destroy the soul
Your rusty sword of love stabs my chest
Go through everything sincerely
Surrender to God
May you be happy with him
« In love, mother.. ! »
sobbing words
an echo, like no other
the chokes and the pain, I recall
who was to blame for all that did befall?
What if
that love made sense
and the doors of heaven were open
to the voice of ardour
that could raze every single fence
we would to emotions have given vent!
What if
I failed to see through a mind
“that road was not to take”
from a dream
I was told I had to wake..
What if
I had the power of belief
In the beauty of that love
In a sweet ache
that was so brief
and so harsh..
What if
I could into my safe keep
that treasure between his ribs
ever vibrant, a rich seep
I might have walked paths of wonder!
I wonder
what would that love to me have brought?
what would have been to change a lot?
What if
I now could see the one
that got away
that one
who stole my heart in its heyday
would I recognise that feel again?
the taste of loss, would it be the same?
the pain of love, I wonder
if its savour would remain!
“What ifs”
the power to capture the beauty of the past
and transcend it to the wonder of the dream!
The nature of soul would never stand still
as the river of serenity whose current unseen
flows to reach the ocean with a spirited will
So is a poet whose pen has been drinking
from the river of life
filled with true words to the brim..

Lost
Silently I’m crying inside
Inside myself, hope seems to be lost
Lost and no one sees the pain
Pain of love and dreams I once had
Had and it came with a cost
Cost I wish I could regain
Regain, but the wounds are too deep
Deep I can’t even understand why I’m crying
Crying in this infinite dark place I shouldn’t be in
In yet I’ve fallen waiting to be found in one piece
Piece by piece I’m feeling alone and lost
Lost and empty can’t find my way out
Out I don’t know any more if I belong
Belong lost and never to be found

Shadow footprint of yesterday
When hand-in-hand along the shore
Betrayal waves washed all away
Grains of love lost forevermore
A crimson sunset disappears
Shadow footprint of yesterday
Misty eyes blink to hold back tears
Heart breakers never have a say
Temptress of life without grace
Harvest of hurt hid deep within
Shadow footprint of yesterday
This Heart will never love again
Loneliness endless and wanton
Pain of love left to permeate
Fleeting sorrow not forgotten
Shadow footprint of yesterday

The Clandestine misery is a locked door but
Revealing the lost joy is the ultimate cure bringing on
A beautiful pain in the midst of a neglected romance!
Standing in a forgotten place
The fragrance of neglect
Activities a beautiful pain!
Maintaining my composure
The elements of lost love create
A certainty that loving someone is never in vain!
Wounds heal but scars remain!
A beautiful pain
Words of love remain
Hearts will gain and teach others!
Serenity and the melody of love will reach a climax
This is where human hearts will understand the pain of love!
Often the furnace of the aftermath
Reflects a beautiful pain!
The rain of ecstasy establishes a unity
Between the joy and pain of love!
A beautiful pain
Words of love remain
Hearts will gain and teach others!
The Clandestine misery is a locked door but
Revealing the lost joy is the ultimate cure bringing on
A beautiful pain in the midst of a neglected romance!

Soft and beautiful
The tender image of your smile
Reflects the outcome of a winter’s day
What if it was me?
What if I was the one?
The pain lives right there
You hardly fought for love
It is so unfair
I cared and
I prepared my heart to belong to you forever!
The oppression of time could not stop my love
In judgment, I saw the joy
Knowing the truth of certainty!
You were not a toy
But an element of destiny!
What if it was me?
What if I was the one?
The pain lives right there
You hardly cared
It is so unfair
I cared and
I prepared my heart to belong to you forever!
Human hearts understand the pain of love
Often the furnace of the aftermath
Reflects a beautiful pain!
My heart mirrored an intense feeling of affection
The pure currency of a poetic word nurtured my soul!
What if it was me?
What if you did not run away?

The heart has its mind in its palm,
the veiled face of soul so calm.
The hands of heart so bountiful,
making the tender mind resourceful.
When the heart speaks through tears,
the eyes of perception in different gears.
Whispers of heart so keen,
the distance of heartfelt is seen.
In the silence of the heart,
every far reaching cry alert.
Perception of heart in a sigh,
answers one know to relay.
The journey of the heart is mysterious,
when the breath of same reveals its tenderness.
Eternal youth by heart of child,
simple expressions in its kind.
The deity of heart is the ideal,
constant yearning to that similar.
Changing heart beat by beauties awe,
when great spirits attend its call.
The healing heart as intellect,
making all misfortunes perfect.
When the invisible pain of love it feels,
the heart that can all its wound heals.
The heart and its longing towards bliss,
faithfully working not a beat to miss.
