L . I . F . E (Live Indelibly For Eternity)

Life a guessing game
To the game player,
Mischief to the hater,
Foreknown script
To the game changer,
A bed filled with roses
Enumerated by the silver-spooned
But dark, bleak and horrible
To the beaten and battered
Because you fall down the ugly life tree
Hitting every ugly branch on your way down,
And so to the naïve
It is a puzzled piece.
Live your life to chance
And you stand no chance
Nothing is more valuable
Than insight in life's voyage,
Our canvases are congested,
From our childhood innocence
With painting and hating,
Broken hedges and images,
With letters and fetters,
With stains and pains;
Life's a make-up store, go to your section.
If I were two-faced
Would I be wearing this one?
No hard feelings on a hard face,
Life is hard enough
But we are tough enough,
Zeal not cast off,
Our conscience we will sell not.
No matter your account,
Your Porsche and mansion,
Your fame and royal name
Our grave is still the same,
In the same hole lay our body tamed
But caged the spirit of the crushed soul
Irrespective of the life you use to know
Eons of unrelenting pain
Yet a cold cool comforting
For the eternal living dead,
Drinking from the cup we deserve,
Our life's in preserve,
This right He reserve
By the One we serve.

I feel death as he flies by
Hear his souless cry
Riding along on his wingless horse
In his eyes there is no remorse
Lightning flashing from his eyes
flies
Across the skies
Crushing those below
Gathering in it's flow
All the souls moaning as he flies by
Can almost hear their wailing cry
Storms collide as he passes
A ghostly sight As the Lightning flashes
So many souls has already cought
Didn't matter the havoc wrought
His price , your soul
All must pay , his toll
On his endless flight
The world cry out in fright
No chance to fight
No chance to run
No one has ever won
Who does he fly for now
It is their turn to take the bow
To him all must knell
no matter how strong your will
Hear them in the wind
Never to end
I hear death as he goes by
Hear all the people cry
No place to hide
His reach wide
How many life's will end
Become part of the wind
A river of souls never to run dry
Can hear their cry
As Death rides by

As I Have Known

Tell me, oh Observer,
Or need you not,
As I have known!

Have I wasted my years on useless words?
Because sometimes I feel I am losing the magic touch,
Because sometimes I feel you are closing us away
Have I been too frivolous, too much of a child?
I beseech you, see me through!

For here is some truth, Seeker
I had no time to be a child
I had no chance to be wild
My brothers and sisters thrashed and squirmed
They were self-indulgent, and heartily reckless
I learned from them,
To mediate
To close it away
Disintegrate
To lose myself in quiet leadership

Until now, until comfort crossed my threshold,
I had no means of crawling
I had solid food I could barely swallow
And the dirt was forced down my throat
I was bloated in the filth
In the probing of these children
I was made open, and raw
I was made pleasured, and confused

Tell me, oh Observer,
Or need you not,
As I have known!

Have you now turned away from me,
When I have finally found this inner child?
Because I am craving your eyes upon me again
I am craving the way your soul stirs within
Have I driven you away?
Are my clouds not enough gray?
I implore you, see me through!

The thunder pounds into me
Their hands hold me down
I am writhing in the grip of adulthood
I am blinded in the sea of doubt

Receiver, my love, my friend
Tell me this—
Have I never known?
Will I yet shimmer amongst the grime?
I want to discover what you have longed of me
I want you to believe in me
And from this prison,
I want to be free…

That look in his eyes
                 Clouded by memories
             His grandchild before him
                         His jewel

                    Her violin sings
              He’s reliving his dream
A poor boy with no chance
                       Heartbroken

                    His request a plea
              “I will pay for lessons
Just let her play for me
                        I beg you”

                    Piano aside
               Violin rhapsodies
             Transported to heaven
                     His tears flow

                   Melancholy eyes
                The violin caressed
              Fingers tired and worn
                   Dreams reborn

Heavy

Heavy makeup on her face
Trying so hard to erase
The heavy tears she's been crying
From a heavy heart that's dying
When a life of heavy burden
Weighs her down and wont stop turnin'
This heavy heartache from existing
There is so much she is missing
Because a past heavy fear
Is largely telling her beware
The heavy abuse she's endured
Is building up, painfully stored
In a dark and heavy place
Which is the very starting base
Of cautiousness and being weary
This heaviness is really scary
Stopping her from really livin
Her heavy loaded mind keeps givin
Signals--stop going ahead
There's nothing but heavy dread
With no chance of joy again
Bad heaviness is not her friend

the moats of your castles
were those big round eyes
brownies shot projectiles
piercing my blue skies

you dug trenches with blinks
thwarting my yearns and choices
countering lashes that sink
your eyes hugging other voices

try recall those starry nights
I was in left field
with my demons at fight
up against your shield

throw me no bat and ball
given no chance to come to the plate
it was easy to see me take a fall
pocket dreams of you is all I fate

and those brownies only read the cover
it hurts. not the pages of me to discover

banished into exile of freedom
with no chance of extradition
bail collateral and ransom refused
he marvelled at his painless tattoo

a rotten apple devouring a snake
inked into now sunburnt skin
reminded him that not everything
seemed as had been commanded

his island prison was very far removed
from what they called civilization
no barbed wire or wardens assaulted
mindfulness and serene integration
he cherished his forced independence
from years of familial violence and abuse
an inner orchard of peace blossomed
as he made good friends with himself

body design had healed mind soul and spirit
he was an escape artist by involuntary decree
who would they torture as their victim had vanished
a few pricks on the outside were a small price to pay

Eggs, eggs, glorious eggs
I could eat 'em three time a day
Scrambled, poached or sunny side up
I love 'em any old way

Eggs, eggs, glorious eggs
Like a yummy egg salad sandwich
Devilled eggs, I could eat by the dozen
I'll even try one from an ostrich

Eggs, eggs, glorious eggs
Now to some, this may sound icky
At times I'll add a raw one to my cereal
That's probably not for the finicky

Eggs, eggs, glorious eggs
I'm aware of a most recent recall
Detected a trace of salmonella poisoning
Now that won't deter me at all

Eggs, eggs, glorious eggs
Just keep eating 'em, don't have a choice
A day without these delightful wee treasures
Is the pits, no chance to rejoice

Curtsy and Bow

The Teacher boomed "Girls Curtsy" now "Boys Bow".
"Learn your Etiquette, Ladies first Gentlemen".
"We do not run we are not a herd of cattle, Now single file !"

"You Mr Smith will hold the door !, Thank you sir"
We filed threw the door unlike cattle as best we could.
Young Mr Smith falling promptly into the end of the line.

The girls giggled at us boys, as it seemed we were most in need of discipline.
And now to add to our disgrace we must, I must, keep from becoming violently ill.
For today we will learn to dance with Girls !

Behold the Gymnasium, the fetid hall of Torture, First Dodge-ball and now this Humiliation. Under the glaring lights of the Gymnasium devilish eyes gleamed across the way as they separated boys from girls.Damn their souls !, Begone ye pony-tailed and frilly spawns of Satan !

If only a deathly rain of frogs would find this an opportune moment to appear.
With their Ghastly shrills they would scatter to the winds like dandelion seeds !
But protected they were, the roof held steady and appeared it would for quite sometime.

They then paired us off, boy-girl, boy-girl, no chance to protest it was done.
I stood there holding her hand, staring at the back of her curly red hair.
She turned and smiled then shrugged, looking away so I would not turn to stone.

The Teacher sneered with fiendish delight and clapped her hands "Now Begin !"
Music filled the air and the frilly beast grabbed my other hand and pulled me towards her."Step-Step-Step-Left-Step-Step and Right, Boys pay attention !"

Slightly above the music I could hear groans from my fellow tortured souls.
We drug our feet desperately hoping for a Fire drill, The A-bomb, anything to end this nightmare ! The clock ticked slowly away and finally it came to an end, Death did not come we lived on.

The Redheaded Demoness turned to me "You did good" she said, and walked away to rejoin the giggling herd. Several days later a note appeared tapping on my shoulder, from the (Redheaded Demoness) "I like you do you like me Y/N" it read. It was over for me, my journey through the light had come to an end and into the darkness I fell as I pressed down with my #2 Pencil and circled (Y).

Another Dawn

ANOTHER DAWN

The morning winces as a new day begins
Mired in the half slumber of a restless night
And reluctant to engage whilst half awake
Like a trembling foot hovering over the brake
Good humoured dawn greetings sound trite
And the fading moon just knowingly grins

Dawn comes around so quickly these days
No chance or time to complete a dream
What a critical daily role to have acquired
As the demand is that all shall be inspired
When night’s blanket is loose at the seam
But it’s the diurnal clock that one obeys

There’s no respite with this job for eternity
Day after day, just subtle seasonal changes
None can detect my initial blurred vision
My tired eyes can see no changed decision
The world still turns, and gravity engages
My half sister moon, no shared paternity
