The mailman is certainly sketchy
way to tall and sort of gangly,
his arms are long and his skin is pale.
He arrives at 10:04 without fail,
never sooner; never later,
and my old dog never barks
like he does at the park,
be it leaf or be it squirrel,
be it a little girl that twirls,
or be it nothing there at all!
The Earth is flat
and landing on the moon was fake,
I simply don’t believe in that,
but I think the mailman is an alien.
I’m convinced his vehicle is a UFO
that transforms and flies at night,
or did I see that on a TV show
long ago when I was eight?
The doctor says to take my meds,
the aliens are in my head!
Sure Doc, because bees don’t sting,
and a hollow moon doesn’t ring.*
*On November 20, 1969, NASA deliberately crashed the Apollo 12 lunar module into the Moon, causing it to vibrate or "ring like a bell" for nearly an hour. This phenomenon sparked theories that the Moon is hollow (like a bell).
It has been half a century since the first moon landing.
It was a historical event that was absolutely outstanding.
The Apollo 11 landed on the moon's surface fifty years ago today.
Two astronauts walked on the moon which is over 238,000 miles away.
Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were pioneers like Daniel Boone.
On July 20, 1969, Armstrong and Aldrin landed on the moon.
As Armstrong stepped on the moon's surface, he said "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind".
When those brave astronauts left the moon to come home, the American flag was something they left behind.
I wasn't alive in 1969 so the moon landing wasn't something that I was able to witness.
But I'm guessing that it was awesome for those who were alive, a wonderful experience.
NASA is an independent agency of the United States Federal Government.
I wish I could've seen the moon landing because it was one hell of an event.
Sixty-five million years B.C.
No human being around to see
Near total extinction: a catastrophe
Heaven knows when the next one will be
Astronomer Bob, didn't expect to see
Speeding on its lethal trajectory
NASA insist it shall pass safely by
Lowlife reporter exposes that lie
Three days remain to atone for our sin
Many men turn to beer, whisky or gin
Mothers on knees beseeching the sky
Clutching their children they openly cry
Two days remain to face our worst dreads
And ponder the lack of atomic warheads
Some say a couple of well focused hits
Our nemesis shattered to vaporised bits
One day remains to reflect on humanity
Many enact hedonistic insanity
Others pen memoirs hand written at speed
Futile indulgence for no man to read
And lo is the sky ignited ablaze
Searing the vision of man’s final gaze
Impact tremendous but count not the dead
For it simply flattened my grandfather’s shed
Peering beyond reach of human capacity
I revolve around the sun in a solar orbit,
Looking deep in space for origins of bygone
Going way beyond anyone has ever gone,
Exploring unknown world of astronomy
Searching light from first stars and galaxies
Traversing back in time where it all began,
Forming our universe after the Big-Bang.
Some 13.6 billion light-years my eyes reach,
Studying evolution, formation of galaxies,
Vast, colorful, mysterious shapes and sizes,
Eying origins of life and planetary systems
Probing, discovering, unfathomable infinity,
For one light-year equals six trillion miles~
A feat, only for the confidence of audacity.
I capture images spectacular to every sight,
Viewing light that is invisible to human eye
Locating nebulae, gas planets, dust clouds,
Collision of galaxies where stars are born,
Traversing back in time where it all began,
Probing galactic universe~ terra incognita.
No longer a phantasy, I am real as can be,
An eye of science and a mind of curiosity,
Intellectual tenacity and proof of ingenuity,
In acumen and wisdom of Astrophysicists,
I am the bold vision of infrared astronomy,
I am the flight vying hypnotic destination
Buoying on wings of scholarly inspiration.
Much is yet undone, for I have just begun,
Orbiting diligently until my work is done,
Until dreams become reality of my mission.
For insight into creation, I am the ray of hope~
I am the James Webb Space Telescope.

Rumors around NASA are all about the gate to heaven
Apparently astronauts have taken a photo of it.
We project our own ideas into our expectations.
Some expect to see Paul waving from a gate.
Others expect to see a line of ancestors lining the portal.
I see my dogs waiting, with their joyful tails wagging fast.
I know they will bound into my arms, and surround me.
Licking and nudging, showing me pure love.
When the photo finally makes its rounds I am disappointed.
It is not what I had expected – no brilliant white.
No silver or gold, a grainy black and white photograph.
I squint my eyes looking for a dog or Jesus, but find neither.
Upon surrendering this self
hypnotized faux yes ("FAKE") Earthing,
I noticed nothing amiss
(which temporary state of transcendent bliss
twice daily meditation strives to attain),
ah...before you dismiss
a non "FAKE" claim lemme juiced
apprise ye with a very brief hiss
tour re:, how this generally outlandish
(long gush fellow) doth wanna kiss
hippy, cheeky and buddy
UFO's (with chess
a mon bot of errant knightly -
je ne sais quois finesse,
Oh Henri Matisse -
yea artfully add a touch of Swiss
obviously predominantly
French laced politesse),
though up pawn occasion
this lousy manque non
rook key mutant doth miss
long disused subtle social cues, cuz I still
feel asper (in) a human aberration
always felt like an outcast in an alien nation
even though born on Mars,
(a distinct honorable station),
yet resided on third rock from the sun
what seems like forever damnation
yours truly experienced abolition
against supposed invaders from outer space,
and essentially targeted, kindled,
and bullied on par like an abomination,
no surprise while attempting
to escape being walled din,
and trumped "illegal" accusation
crackled, snapped, and popped with abjection,
your honor (forgot to mention
earlier got picked up mistaken as invitation
from outer space by a kid prized
as some sophisticated surveillance drone),
within a sketchy section
of town, and must avoid acquisition
by mad scientists (employed by NASA),
who will undoubtedly take immediate action
and disassemble me (carefully as if dismantling
Bono fide atomic bomb), hence activation
must be established pronto against administration,
sans powerful GMO firearm, emitting disinformation
(mine defense of last resort)
will definitely signal to nemesis
furthering my aggravation,
and Putin this webbed, whirled,
and wired woebegone wysiwyg at risk.
The Pioneer spacecraft, launched in nineteen seventy-two
now roams deep space with batteries flat, and nothing else to do.
There may be chance that it gets found by aliens, I guess,
so on it's hull NASA has stamped a full return address.
Along with this inscription are two figures on the plaque
of what E.T will find should he bring our old spaceship back.
A man stands by a woman, with one hand raised in the air
(which should cover his naughty bits since both of them are bare)
On first glance to an alien, the differences are slight
so why on earth do we find more differences just to fight?
You're from a different country, different colour, different creed,
if like that plaque we all stripped back there wouldn't be the need
since as a species, human beings, we are the only one
so come on Earth people, group hug, and let's just all get on.
Mamakailang- ulit nang nangyari 'to?
'di maka- idlip man lang mga mata
Ilang ulit na bang nalihis sa mundo?
Hating-gabi, ikaw'y saksi!
Sa gali't alimuom man dinamayan
Kayo!
Ikaw nalang ngayon ang ako'y mayroon;
Liban sa nasa kamatayan nang buhay.
Wala na mga naturingang katotong
Tunay. Sila'ng mitya na ako'y mama'mtay!
