Premium Member - a Gloomy Image -

"A photograph (1949) - my father's story, a gloomy image"

A young man, who already has a heavy luggage
The backpack he has been carrying since birth
                   a gloomy image ...
The struggle to be present in life
He pushes his hair away from his eyes
where he walks in an unknown city

Everyone knows it's pretty tough to be young
It's about growing up ... fast
Dare to go out into the world,
naked and vulnerable -
                     a gloomy image ...
He had to help his mother, stepfather
and half siblings - a financial support

Wish I could read his thoughts
Dig a little deeper into the human mind
The meaning behind your pain
Humiliation and never accepted
This is not a sunshine story
                      a gloomy image ...
Although the photograph is yellowed and faded
His thoughts means an irreplaceable role for some

Premium Member Country Boy!

i'm a country boy,
as country as can be;
i'm barefoot when i go to church,
don't give a hoot 'bout society!

i sleep naked in the back yard,
go skinny dippin' in the lake;
when i use the outhouse,
the ground's gonna quake!

i eat with both hands,
possum, squirrel, an' coon;
cook 'em on an open fire,
an' use my fingers as a spoon!

bouncin' rocks off turtle shells,
sippin' moonshine from a jug;
sweet as a store bought teddy bear,
it's okay to give me a hug!

i love my thermal underwear,
they're red, with a cute lil' flap;
i'll curl up in the chicken coop,
for a long afternoon nap!

i ain't much for fightin'
but i don't take no crap;
if you push me in a corner,
get ready for a scrap!

forget that bottled water,
i'm drinkin' from a well;
next time you're in the country,
stop and visit for a spell!

Fred's Wife Needed Her Wings Clipped Or Did She

So it's men's bowling night out.
Usually Fred would bring his fan club,
his wife.
But lately his wife needed her wings clipped.
She done Fred wrong.
Real bad, real bad
where Fred didn't come home for three days
last week
After a night out of bowling the guys stop off
at the local pub, where everyone knows each other.
Fred orders the guys a round of drinks
and then pawns his loyalty to his wife
to all the listeners at the bar
Remember Fred's wife done Fred wrong
Isn't that right? Or is it rights that isn't?
Fred's all wound up, elephant memory and all.
He's stripping his wife naked in front of the guys,
exposing all the dirty secrets and laundry.
Go Fred, Go Fred, Go Fred
He's pregnant ... with piranha's.
He's stupid, with donkeys riding piggyback
Or is that the other way around?
Fred's on a roll.
For one hour straight, and more rounds a beer
for the guys he's going at it.
Even the fat smelling, a homeless lady in the corner
is licking her chops for Fred's free beer. Not him.
By now Fred's reduced his wife to residue.
Remember Fred's wife done him wrong ...
she needed her wings clip ...
or did she?
Man, oh man ... what kind of guy would do that?
Being so underhanded
and being such a man eating specimen

Premium Member That Is Life-Such Is Life

A jungle of mysteries, ruled by uncertainties
nurtured by intrigues and cycles
but invaded by misnorma to fairness
is a system, sustaining all animate interactions.
This is Life!

No rule, no formula, just connections
with only one goal: Survival.
The summation of one and one
differs in various situations.
An Engine powered largely by fate,
averagely by efforts and relatively by luck
is its inevitable offer which cannot be rejected.
That is Life!

Attracted to a beautiful flower
like a bee
then abandons it to make its comb
on a tree.
A being can be in command
to all achievable accolades
but is still never at the top, like an employee.
Such is Life

Making an attempt with fire
can result to so much glee
but absorbing its mere flames alone
can make you pay a huge fee.
A hopeful, innocent and cute new bride
now becomes wiser, stronger but a divorcee.
Such is Life!

It can be the hotness of coffee
with sweet smelling expectations
but swift bitter results.
Surprise! Its wholesaler,
glancing afar to see
but what is really wanted is just below the knee.
such is Life!

It is a supermarket; absolutely free,
naked one goes in
no matter the shopping spree
nor the testing of best Diamonds
naked shall one come out
that is the only guarantee
regardless of whether you agree!
This.....................is life!

Trees of Oblivion

Leaves release from their place of honor
Firm branches remain behind as naked
Look down on diamond blue hillsides fall
That origin, location where trees begin
With a proper perspective on leaf and limb

Held firm are the branches tilting forward
Acknowledging tomorrow from the womb...
The purpose is clear
The objective was shade
But now, no more, as it is gone

Shade disappears under the turtle tree
Exposed by the relentless sun hanging drunk
There in the total dark of space without strict discipline
Deciding to fire up the sky in search of hiding creatures
To burn them alive if necessary

Look under the trees void of leaves
Turtles fried white turned lifeless
They lay there, outed by the sun
And anything that lays beneath its scrutiny of light
There to be revealed by the barren bark dies

Stripped of what they were, trees surrender
A breeze takes their offspring leaves off to other worlds
Green with envy never to be returned
Trees have no secrets of their own
Where they come from only they know

To keep on growing is the goal
Hiding in clear sight with roots intact
Making new leaves to start the cycle
Every leaf is released into oblivion
Trees believe and follow their beginning

Wainwright Smith Rides Away, Part Ii

...What he saw there made blood run cold,
His sister naked in the light,
Chained to a bed, soiled and stained
Her stomach swollen and tight.

She was covered in refuse and blood,
Her eyes saw him but didn’t see,
She said no words, just babbled on,
And endless, painful mumbling.

A twig cracked, and he swirled around,
Seeing the scarred face of his foe,
Mays went for his pistol, Wainwright fired
And the thug stumbled back from the blows.

Wain kept firing, long after he was dead
Emptying his entire magazine,
He turned Mays’s face into a red ruin,
And let out an anguished scream.

The whole town was shocked by the affair,
By the sheer depths of Mays’s cruelty,
They left his body for vultures and crows,
A sent poor Henrietta back to the east.

It was said that her mind was too far gone,
She knew not even when she gave birth,
Spent her days locked-up, stark raving mad,
Until a fever took he from the earth.

The child was raised by an uncle and aunt,
Never the truth of his father to know,
But Wain never came back, after all he’d seen
He moved north to trap in ice and snow.

After what he had seen he couldn’t return,
Couldn’t buy into mankind’s illusions,
He married a squaw and lived in the woods,
Free from civilization’s delusions…

Premium Member A Yearn Through Fog-

Faces of eggshell abeyance dripping
breathless from the branches of bemusing bathos
bespeaking dreams of being worn
as masks of romance,
to be shattered by the essence of a kiss
that evapoeates the veil separating
shadow from flesh,

Can You hear them Luv,
voices of a pale color
murmuring a covet for caress,
can You feel the palor of their pathos,
touch the ashen blush,
a smooth melancholia lush,
mouths, still open,
in hush for that pulse rush,

We are in a grotto of disembodied desire,
these spirits ache like embers dying to burn
as We have ached to love learn,
shall We share with them our heart rhythm,
give them a taste of dilated veins,
of fluid soul ablaze,

You embrace my marbled forearm
with tearing mouth and panting bites,
like a woman committed to primal passion,
I love You as the Tiger loves the prowl,
put your hands heavenly upon my face Luv,
Sshhhh,,,

I place this mask upon the warmth
of your face for ritual affection,
It fits like rose bloom,
place the other ghost skin on mine,
Yes, it feels like living wax fresh
from a black candle flame,

We enter one another like lights
of lava pour,
It has begun my Luv,
the unabashed ambush of innocence
by unbridled lust,
expressing hunger primordial
through a compassion moral,
there be not shame in our giving flame,
We are righteous in naked virtue -

Premium Member Blue Hole

out of the blue you arrived

not just the usual winter blues

more like permafrost with icicles

piercing all colour out of me

until everything was black

the dogs on my shoulder

a pack of wild hounds

haunting me down

growling chewing digesting

before there was no more prey

to be sucked out of my life

one of them in particular

showed no mercy but wore

the face of my ex a terrier

and I was the rat in my nightmare

a silent movie paused on its reel

clockwork arrested in agony

but death refused the call for

endless loops would not retreat

out of nowhere a petite woman arrived

in an aquamarine dress with whistles

and bells on her outfit

she led me to a cerulean sofa

took off my charcoal garments

undressed what was to become

she blew kisses and smiles

onto my naked skin and painted

flowers of hope in magenta and crimson

with honeydew stems and forest green shoots

the hole changed to whole in split seconds

of passion kindness compassion and love

lust for life if you want and hollowed depression

out of the blue morphed from beneath our moans

a young soulmate with a dolphin earring

who also bore some tattoos on her skin

but she calls it cinnamon bark

now we howl with the wolves

in tune with stellar composure

more than once in a blue moon

Premium Member - Killed Without Reason -

Dare you look deep into this darkness
Persecution of Jews - Holocaust
In Hebrew, this has the genocide
been called Shoah,
which means disaster or destruction

The journey has just begun,

and it is far from over

The destination is Auschwitz

to a place without return

The smell of vomit, urine and excrement is overwhelming

Without food and water, trapped in an unbearable heat

Everything is better than nothing

witch's brew, eaten with Satan's fork

made of bats, rats, worm and mice

The vultures is the bird and the messenger

who hunt along the train tracks

Dark tracks ... Jews were sent in closed

freight wagon - before they ended their lives in gas chambers

Their souls destroyed by evil and hatred

Neither will, power, alliances

or the strongest alpha males

- cannot escape the dirty claws of the Nazis

A young mother was raped by the soldiers

White dress with sewn-on transparent arms

a newborn baby suckles the mother's naked breast

It is definitely not for the faint of heart

Shoah !

Through tears, sweat and blood,

from generation to generation

At home in the window frame a red Begonia blooms

- for the last time

The door is branded with a yellow star

Premium Member In My Wildest Dreams

Laughing lavender lights
Glisten on naked skin
Breathing tenderness
A touch so gentle and sweet

In silence – in solitude
Where grace penetrates
Robbing anxiety it’s dread
Soothing with music’s prayer

Twinkling in amber eyes
Shades of soft, soothing sounds
Erasing all the fears felt
From crying so quietly

Grace embraces the whisper
Of imagination, insight, inspiration
The beauty within a spirit
Who soars across the fields

Colors of hope and passion
Greet love that falls brightly
On the stars and moon
Hues of heaven’s kindness

I need to know where
Love shines down, without a sound
Lifting my soul to new heights
Rejoicing in the promise

Of a God who knows my heart
Understands my thoughts
And awakens my sense of hope
To become the person He blesses

With His endless affection
His direction and correction
His gift of acceptance
That reassures me – I am loved
Beyond my wildest dreams!
