Our good friend and neighbor has a green thumb which she generously applies
to the plants, the blooms and the flowers in her yard to attract bees and butterflies.
What makes her yard so special to us is not only the beauty of her flowers
but many of the butterflies traveling to her yard…choose to fly through ours.
The other day we were sitting out watching a few of them flutter by
when I thought to myself how alike we are…humans and butterflies.
We‘re both born out of our mothers…we both enter the world rather small
and in no time, like the caterpillar, we, too, begin to crawl.
We crawl, we eat, we crawl some more…our movements at first are slow
but this is how we learn to live…this is how we grow.
We both enter a transition stage…in butterflies it’s called the chrysalis…
It’s where we humans learn to laugh, to cry, to think, to play…to kiss.
Once we emerge from our chrysalis…we find our body rearranged.
The way we look…the way we feel…everything has changed..
Then without giving it a second thought…without even wondering why…
where once we only crawled and ate…we now spread our wings and fly.
If we’re blessed we add beauty to our world
as we land on each flower and blossom and leaf
knowing our time to fly is limited…
knowing our life on Earth is brief.
There are many reasons why we love our friend…
one is that green thumb she applies
which, much to our enjoyment,
puts us in the paths of her butterflies….
Thus giving us the opportunity
to show her butterflies affection
as they stop to rest in our back yard…
and ask us for directions.
o~Spring Is A Very Beautiful Season~o
(Rhyming Couplet)
Spring is a beautiful time of the year
We can hear birds and enjoy flowers near
During this time the trees are born again
Spring showers feeds the plants and wheat grain
Skies are true blue and night stars are clear
In the mountains we see bears and the deer
More folks take a walk to the park and pier
Lovely time when tulips roses and orchids appear
Folks have more fun in the parks and the street
Sights sounds and smells around us are so sweet
Colorful butterflies flutter atop flowerbed
Sun shines more and summer is just a step ahead.

“Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.”
- Mark Twain-
According to an ancient tradition
One can distinguish between two senses of Scripture
The literal and spiritual
The latter being subdivided into
Allegorical
Moral and
Anagogical senses
The profound concordance of the four senses
Guarantees all its richness to the living reading of Scripture in the Church
The literal sense is the meaning conveyed by the words of Scripture
And discovered byexegesis
Following the rules of sound interpretation
All other senses of Sacred Scripture are based on the literal
The spiritual sense
Thanks to the unity of Eternal God’s plan
Not only the text of Scripture
But also the realities and
Events
About which it speaks can be signs
The allegorical sense
We can acquire a more profound understanding of events
By recognizing the significance in Father Christ
Thus the crossing of the Red sea
Is a sign or type of Father Christ’s victory
And also of Christian baptism
The moral sense
Events reported in Scripture ought to lead us justly
As St. Paul says
They were written for our instruction
The anagogical sense
We can view realities and
Events in terms of their eternal significance
Leading us toward our true homeland
Thus the Church on earth is a sign of the heavenly Jerusalem
A medieval couplet summarizes the significance of the four senses
The letter speaks of deeds; Allegory to faith
The moral how to act; Anagogy our destiny
It is the task of exegetes to work
According to these rules
Toward a better understanding and
Explanation of the meaning of Sacred Scripture
In order that their research may help the Church to form firmer judgment

I have been to places people only dream of.
A bright place, a beautiful place, an open place.
A place that I felt was meant for me.
I have seen sights that most people never see.
Light, and Love, and life full of meaning.
A sight that showed me that I had meaning.
When you go to such places, and you see such wonderous things, they do leave
their mark.
They become all that you can be.
They fill you, sustain you, are your bread and water.
Those places, those sights, are all you'll ever need.
Those places, those sights, are all you ever want to be.
Well, yes I have been there, and yes I have seen it, but that's not all I have seen.
I have watched that place be torn from me.
Forcefully, horribely, my life lost all meaning.
There was little left of me, with all those places burned and broken, the ground itself
bleeding.
There wasnt even will enough for keening.
I have known pain. It is a black place that makes what should be your heart the
most efficient method of torture that's almost beyond human comphrension.
A black thing, a terrible thing, and you claw at your chest with all the strength you
posses because, nothing could ever hurt as much as what's inside you, making your
whole body scream.
A person can bleed when there is no wound.
A person can scream in agony when they feel nothing.
A person can be alive without living at all.
I am a girl who has seen many things, and I've been to places that people only
dream.
At ninteen years old, I am on old woman. Burden, wearied, and in some ways
broken.
So tired of the world, too tired for words. I just want to rest, to take a break from
this world.
But, I also am blessed, for the people I have. Mason, and Steven, and so many
more of them.
I am loved, and loved deeply, and I love deeply too.
They bring back that beauty, they bring back all meaning.
This world is filled with beautiful things, just as it's filled horrible things.
But, with all that I have seen, there is still more to see.
And despite all I've been through...I look forward to the life that's ahead of me. ^_^
She's sitting there, looking at me,
while I pretend that I don't see
that look of longing in her eyes,
that look that comes as no surprise.
It's a forlorn look that seems to say,
Do you have time for a little play?
I know you're busy with your write,
but honestly, you're at it day and night."
I feel guilty; we're off to the kitchen,
so she'll stop her meowing and her b...hing.
With my cup of coffee, and her tummy sated,
We're ready to play as she anticipated.
She bats at the paper balls I toss at her
I throw them at her long-haired coat of fur.
Sometimes she catches one in her paws,
My Bella, you deserve a reward. Applause!
A better roommate, I could never find,
even when her meowing blows my mind.
I rescued her, but she's adopted me.
We're a mutual admiration society.
She never complains when my hairs a mess,
or when I stay in my jammies, but I confess,
if she did, I'd retaliate right back at her,
"You're the one always draped in fur!"
Wistful green eyes are staring up at me.
This time I won't pretend that I don't see.
I've got a hundred paper balls on the floor,
but what the heck, I'll just throw some more.

God loves you no matter what you do,
He likes you even if you don't like yourself,
God loves you so much, so please don't be so blue,
God is so wonderful and He always looks after you
God is everywhere and anywhere, don't you see that?
No matter where you go, He'll be right there with you,
Because God loves you, even when you think nobody does,
God our father can make for you everything brand-new!
God loves you and wants you to be happy all the time,
He cares so much for everything you go in life through,
You can go through hurricanes, earthquakes or any storms,
You may think you're all alone, but that's not really true!
God loves you so much and He's always there with you,
If He cares much for a single sparrow,He does much more for YOU and me!

Author notes:
(Dedicated to anyone hurting and to all those suffering because of Hurricane Katrina)
Space Overtaken
To many tomatoes fill up my fridge
Grown from the garden, a tasty delish
When seeds were first sown, did a no show
Planted some more, twice many did grow
Offered some out to family and friends
But they had themselves twenty times ten
With seedlings now to many to count
Not one to be wasted began to place out
Seedlings aligned in the vegetable patch
Garden plants nursery waiting to hatch
Some in pots and oblong planters
Hanging baskets - swaying decanters
Nurtured an watered sun on them all
Grew so well some ever so tall
Hundreds of flowers waiting to bare fruits
Slugs and snails hide, waiting to loot
Bees humming as they pollinated
Tiny green balls soon generated
Twice weekly fed grew them much bigger
Some so big grew skin much thicker
As time went by they started to turn
Green to red ripen by suns burn
Fast yielded more than could be eaten
Gave many away, space overtaken
Made soup, mine was just water and pips
Oven dried toms but burnt them to crisps
What ever I tried I failed miserably
Even the sauce was clumpy and gooey
Ripened so fast twice daily out picking
Got to admit they gave me a butt kicking
Next year will buy only plants that I need
Instead will grow flowers for insects to feed
Then sit in my garden with wine on the table
Enjoying the birds and the nests that they cradle
Nature is intended to what it should be
Left in its harmony and natural beauty.

Barely worked a job in his whole damn life,
leached off friends and parents for his money,
never could provide for his kid sand wife,
lived in homes so bad his infant did freeze;
yet he felt he could write economics,
never producing something or paid a soul,
academic words to hide his envy,
no wonder his thoughts had a bloody toll;
never was hatred more deserved,
Karl Marx was a damn monster.
Was downright demonic in sympathies,
his poems identified with Satan,
called for blood and violence to push his cause,
for his ‘greater good’ you must slaughter men;
attacked any kind of faith people held,
accept his own doctrines which would replace
all the higher values that a soul needs,
with a corrupting worship of the state;
never was hatred more deserved,
Karl Marx was a damn monster.
Had a strange obsession with suicide,
which he managed to pass on to his kids,
two daughters would perish by their own hands,
that kind of influence hard to forgive;
left his wife to deal with their creditors,
selling off their stuff just to stay afloat,
cheated with the maid and then knocked her up,
didn’t once claim the child as his own;
never was hatred more deserved,
Karl Marx was a damn monster.
Incredibly racist through his whole life,
called his Cuban son-in-law ‘negrillo,’
opined that Africans were subhuman,
seemed to think that the Jews were demons low;
wouldn’t by medicine for his sick wife,
it was too expensive, so she just died,
but when it came to him he spared nothing,
made dam sure that he had it come his time;
never was hatred more deserved,
Karl Mars was a damn monster.
Some say that bad men can have good ideas,
but more often than not they’re just as bad,
100,00,000 dead from the socialists,
a pretty good sign his ideas were mad;
why you’d build policy on such a man
who never worked and seethed with jealousy,
did wrong by all his family and his friends,
mired all who followed him in misery;
rhere it nothing good in his words,
Karl Marx was a damn monster.
There is only co-arising integrity,
integrity unfolds ubiquitously,
omnipresently, health potently
space and time's incarnating potential
inviting
resolving
regenerating multisystemic polyculturing networks
polypathic information webs
embodied network organic
strings of enculturing forming function
waving binomial binary bionic frequencies
toward more interdependent contentment,
less empty-evaporating contentiousness.
Form unfolds content-ment,
well-formed families and communities
avoid dysfunctional toxic content
by grasping its straining stressful mentoring voice
about not only which dispassions to avoid
but also why
and where to reset our pilgrimage rudder's tipping point,
sweet spot Trim Tab,
to comprehend when integrity-aversion overcompensates,
when avoiding karma's grasp
would trend toward our mutually neglectful dis-grace.
Tomorrow,
always tomorrow,
we might avoid competitive gasping
by grasping cooperative aversions to loss and dissonance.
If I could bestow a gift
On my family
It would not be money
Or a property
I would give contentment
To last them all their days
This would bring them happiness
In many different ways
Money can destroy
Power is the same
Life wasn't meant to be lived for
Money Power or Gain
Or to give flattery
To the undeserving
I find this sickening
Extremely unnerving
If we were contented
And happy with our lot
It could be contagious
Others wondering
Why they're not
Happy with the money
And their controlling power
That can lead to the road to nowhere
Getting nearer by the hour
Stop this constant need
For wanting more and more
In time all this abundance
Will become a dreadful bore
It will not buy you contentment
And a healthier happy life
It could be your downfall
And cause you loss of family and wife
