My Cyber family
I had no one to speak my heart,
Depression had stolen my spark,
Could not help emotions flow,
Glittering eyes had lost their glow,
One fine evening of early sunset,
I doomed in Ocean of deep regret,
Penned my feelings at poetry soup,
Was welcomed by a warm group,
Washed away in tears was grief,
Cyber family touched me deep,
My feelings as I penned to post,
Within no time came hugs of support,
Critical comments gave me a go,
brainy ones blew away the sorrow,
Contests kept me occupied,
Negative thoughts were put aside,
Exquisite pens mesmerise, age no bar,
Put you to cloud nine and ride the stars,
If you too are sad and crazy,
Welcome to my cyber family !

I wanna wake up to the tune of your call
before the birds compose the morning anthem
dance to the rhythm of your love songs, at the blink of nightfall
Mesmerise my soul, with the sound of your voice
melt this icy heart, with the words of your choice
Slice a portion of your time, for my take away
a pinch from your busy schedule, please make a way
Lets bump shoulders once more
Reheat the connection gone cold
walk in the sands of promises we swore
I crave to be on the receiving end too
Reply your“I love you”text, with"i love you too"
I renew my vows for the hundredth time
reciprocate my love, for our hearts to rhyme
November rains
Monsoon starts wet;
Nature redecorates
~~~~~~~~~
Orchard Road stretch
Decked for Christmas;
Good for business
~~~~~~~~~
So sad this scandal
Funds embezzled;
Ego versus love
~~~~~~~~~
Love works well
Yes you can tell;
Cash now casts spells
~~~~~~~~~
Sound song and dance
Can mesmerise;
Glitzy paradise
~~~~~~~~~
Once upon a tale
That gospel sway;
Now corruption steals
~~~~~~~~~
Sad, sad refrains
Pain comes to snort;
Empty counts gain
~~~~~~~~~
Hollywood cheer
Baubles at Christmas;
Weary world in tears
~~~~~~~~~
Write words
Wave wins;
Wrong works
~~~~~~~~~
No matter what
Happens right now;
Love keeps loving
~~~~~~~~~
Jolly greets holly
Year-end reasons;
Joyful blessings greet

Ascends new Sun- Andaree
When sparrows chirp, it's orange hue of twilight,
Forgotten is yesterday's each fight,
Rise to another day's fun.
Leaves nothing undone,
Ascends new
Sun.
Mystic view,
Be it for the pun,
Vivid dreams of everyone,
Greens mesmerise, a colourful sight,
When sparrows chirp, it's orange hue of twilight.

Deep in Nature's woods
Battle scars of weathered life
Silently descend
_ Carolyn Devonshire
I would read this splendid Haiku of Carolyn many many times
but like a favourite precious jewel, this GEM will never fade and will never fail to mesmerise me every time.
Carolyn, "deep in nature's woods", your story shall dwell.
The wildflowers and emerald trees shall whisper your name
in perpetuity. As "battle scars of weathered life silently descend",
the rustling auburn leaves shall dance to woods' symphony~ only for you.
And when dusk hides the day, the birds shall sing your favourite song.

My Canon SLR, is set, night light on, but it’s only still dusk
Positioned waiting hoping for the promised elephant with tusk
Crouching low a rustling in the hot scrub grass close by
I turn slowly hoping, but look straight into a tigers golden eye…
An overpowering smell my nostrils do detect
A deathly smell of blood, on my life I do reflect
The eye of the tiger with its golden hue
He seems so neat, almost manicured too…
The white stripes round his wide open eyes
The crackle of dry grass, the buzz of the flies
The sweat does drip, down my nose
My heart beats fast, the shutter won’t close.
His small ears on such a large head do mesmerise me
The long, long whiskers twitch, so I believe it is a he.
Do I move? Do I breathe? What am I to do?
A tiger with black pupils, why didn't I bring a crew.
Looking through my lens, I see his nose twitch a little bit
I am on his menu it was then the shutter did click
I’m drenched in sweat; he lowers to pounce, this will be goodbye
My prayers are said, my life relived, I know it’s time to die…
Straight through the lens, but what I really did not see
He’s looking to my side, my prayers are answered it isn't me
A sigh escapes, I dare to breathe, I turn as slowly as I dare…
That’s when I spot a flock of gazelle; one of them will be his fare

Contest Entry for: Viewing Life Through A Lens
Breezy evening almost setting in
Broad leaves of Badam trees
Sign about snack time
Hot tea with Bhaji!
Ah! A time to tickle our taste buds
Wait not, grab the Gota!
Head to eat the mouth–watering snack
Along With a spicy hot tangy sauce
Finishing off with licking fingers
Not to miss bonda ! & vada !
Try one new each day
Niche of taste, mesmerise you
All you love is, just one more please!
Flavour, taste, and a dash of freshness
Adds the badam leaves
In which all is served
No to plates, no to papers
All done with leaves of taste
Badam in backyard, yield to all
Next to plantain, serving snacks
Dried or fresh they feed the best
Just wash it once
Fallen or plucked, the leaves of badam
Used as plates from the tree
Standing tall by the tea stall
Serving all Pakodas & TEA!
(Badam is a Indian term for Almonds, Bhaji, gota, bonda, vada and pakoda are the Indian deep fried snacks)
As dusk bleeds
dimmed threads,
that veil the sun
within my mind,
I listen to the whispers
of the midnight wind,
slowly carrying the chaos
of city life,
reminding me that
in togetherness,
I can rise and fight
the darkness,
like the Fantastic Four in
the celestial chronicles of
magnificent Marvel.
For their strength in unity
did cast away every obstacle
wrapped in fictional lies.
I wish I could
be Susan Storm,
in times of strife,
to mesmerise
and manipulate
the rosiest of flames,
where Johnny Storm shines
and cosmically conquers
adversaries with eloquence.
Sometimes I long
to be flexible
like Reed Richards,
stretching beyond
oblivion and reaching
spheres untouchable.
Tonight, I wish I were
Ben Grimm, facing
every storm, being
virtually indestructible
and heroical.
Yet, to be a family of four,
so fearless and strong,
is but an eternal dream
within my glass heart.
So tomorrow,
I shall rise
and flip pages,
where all worries of
this world will
be forgotten.
My soul and spirit
connected poetically
to the fantastic four.
A passing by spirit caught hold of the one, who looked down upon her. For the haughty would not pardon mistakes. She was merciless and never understood anything beyond what is correct.
The passing by spirit dropped her into the realm of superior energy. Ranted, “Be in my place and show how you remain virtuous and upright.” Bewildered yardbird relished the glide. But the conscience didn’t allow the righteous to defy. She yelled it loud, “What is right is always right and no one can deny.”
She tried hard, still she could not fly. The turmoil of emotions the dilemma of her existence wasn’t letting her survive. Bowing down she pleaded:
Turf me out of your luminous energy,
I am locked in there.
I talk to dead, I wander with spirits,
I am lured but my place ain’t here.
“She’s beyond reproach, she is my child!”
Almighty boasts with credence and pride.
Divagated I look up-to your clemency.
Hey Conscientious! Please pardon my demency!
The sparkling axions mesmerise me.
The strong vibes invite me.
“Remember the rubric, you have to write your own script!”
Says my departing angels strict!
In the mirage of hope and desires,
Most remain entrapped and entwined.
I am not the one who is so destined.
Intrust the trouper’s tasks are forever assigned.
Let me levitate, I can’t be the one who renegades.
Turf me out, I am trapped, I don’t see the exit gate.
Losing my sheen n power, I surrender to you my holy dear!
Turf me out please, I am not meant to be here.
Passing by spirit barely believed in divinity. She dropped the haughty to teach her a lesson. The God caught hold of her hand when she was falling. He made her fall in the glittering water. Calm and composed, healing and caring! The infallible and virtuous appeared as the twin flame. They looked up and smiled, for what is right is always right. The God up-there proudly smiled look there comes back my child.
But now she knows, "You can't be I and I can't be you. What you decide is correct and what I say is true. I can not judge your situation when I have not been in similar condition." Yeah Still I say, "What is right will always be right!"
Now we face much evil..Our so called mainstays of social stability are being
outed in increasing numbers.' I see we
Are going to 'hit an obstacle!' Once more
Depraved filth is aired.' There should be a
Reckoning, Is the first thought i had yet
Is this 'plan D?' Is there a plan F? Is the
Three million documents and films etc an
Attempt to mesmerise the populaces to
Break the rythem of revelations.? Is this it?
Is there to be a (Two week lull?) Are we being guided to an abasement of our integrity.' Or removal might be a better descriptive?
Are we meant to be in state; of compliance? Are we to see the challenge as
Un surmountable..? Am i supposed to
reason thus.' I am a quiet man as a rule,
So
Now dear readers, are we meant to
accept that there are murderers
carpenters horticultural home, improvers
And ( a filth just not to be noticed?) do we
Allow them to have their little corner and
Hide away doing such still..?
This damaging plan.? to keep
Continuing
It is going to be up to us.'
To proclaim evil and
Sickness loudly its being laid almost
bare.' ( there are acts un-known still )
Its not good if they get half the world
to turn away, God bless you all.'
