Think less.
Do more.
Simple, right?
Just breathe, just be,
stop the endless loop, the ifs and maybes,
the what-ifs, the could-bes.
Jump.
Don't overthink the fall.
It's not the landing, it's the flight,
the air rushing past, the freedom,
the thrill of letting go.
Stop thinking.
Stop freaking thinking.
Just breathe, just be.
Taste the moment.
Feel the sun.
Laugh so hard it hurts.
Cry and let it all out.
Feel everything,
every heartbeat, every breath.
Live.
Now.
Not tomorrow, not someday.
Now.
Dance like a fool,
sing off-key,
love with your whole damn heart.
Stop thinking.
Just do.
Feel the rain on your skin,
the wind in your hair,
the earth under your feet.
Just breathe, just be.
Scream.
Run.
Jump.
Fall.
Love.
Laugh.
Cry.
Feel.
Life’s too short for second guesses,
too fragile for regrets.
Stop thinking.
Just breathe.
Just be.
Can you see me
As I stand waiting
For the day you recognize
I am the one you have been searching for
Yes I pray the day will come
When you open your eyes
and finally see me
As the one who was meant for you
Can you hear me
As I stand waiting
Silent in the dark loneliness of my world
Hoping one day to feel the comfort of your loving arms around me
Would you love me
If you could see me
For what I would be
If you could see me
Yet with lips sealed
I am found standing in silence
Seen bland and without color
Pasted upon the stale wall of observation
Longing for you,,,, yet even more so for myself.......to see the color within.
Life’s not easy
with its maybes
and it’s “if onlys”
Jumped on the train,
does he remember my name?
I went over the script in my head.
I’d ask you questions and laugh at your jokes,
I’d remember everything that you said.
My heart skipped a beat as I walked down the street lit up by Victoria’s lights.
This is the closest it’d been in so many months,
I’d drowned in the maybes and mights.
You ventured to me, weak smile on face as we reluctantly fell into an embrace
you said you were sorry, sorry for being late
it really didn’t matter,
‘This could be fate’.
An awkward tube-ride led us inside of a cocktail bar so gauche and empty.
As I tapped my card, I’d find I was barred and you sighed like I’d let you down gently.
You picked out some flaws, including my sores, you answered the questions like it was a chore
no room for my say, no ask about my day
you looked past me with nothing but bore.
Cause I wasn’t your type, isn’t that right?
I’m too girly, too tall and too loud.
I thought it was over, whatever this was, I couldn’t wait to disappear in the crowd.
But the night didn’t end, despite what you spoke
I was still fun enough to be the butt of your joke.
When we kissed, was it some twisted dare?
You didn’t enjoy it, you told me and I told myself that I didn’t care.
I’d drank and was drunk, so the upset had sunk by the time the clock had struck home.
You’d barely said bye, night bus caught my eye and to my text, you would never reply.
What a waste of my time on a man allergic to kind, whose own problems are turning him blind.
Beautiful souls, with him won’t turn old and next time he’ll be left in the cold.
Last night I had a long and restless night,
I couldn't sleep, I tried with all my might.
I couldn't get the “ phrase 24 hrs out of my head,
so next thing you know I stumbled out of my bed.
And I began to think about my life and all that I had done,
I thought about my many failures and victories I had won.
But I thought about having only 24 hrs left,
would I be selfish and only think about self
Yes, I have to make my wrongs right,
strive to love and not give up the fight.
I will try my best to be the version of me
and forgive others and let bygones flee.
I have no time to hold a grudge
or sit around and misjudge.
I just want to live my very best life
and let go of misery and strife.
Spend valuable time with my precious babies,
forget about the should have beens and maybes.
Our time on earth goes by extremely fast,
so with my 24 hrs I will strive to have a blast.

If that’s a heartache you’re drinking
Then to my way of thinking
You shouldn’t drink it alone
Mind if I sit with you, baby
Between the buts and the maybes
Go ahead an’ turn off your fone
The game is easy, there’s no rules
It only takes two broken fools
The stakes are high, but that’s just fine
You bet your heart against mine
You lay your cards on the line
chorus
I’ve seen that look a thousand times before
I’m here for the same reason you’re here for
I’ll help you lose that self-control
Out of a sad, weary soul
Some-times, the lonely takes its toll
So you like flirting with danger
Wrapped, in the arms of a stranger
Hey, we got nothing to lose
When your pride has been dented
It’s just a game they invented
It’s called the Honky-Tonk Blues
You came here, looking for trouble
I see your heart’s on the rubble
Freedom’s the high that you crave
Let’s pretend, that we’re winning
Start an old, new beginning
Fortune favours the brave
Chorus repeat
I’ve seen that look a thousand times before
I’m here for the same reason you’re here for
I’ll help you lose that self-control
We’re just two sad, weary souls
Some-times, the lonely takes its toll
In a dream of future foreseen, a stranger I see,
Familiar, yet foreign, just staring back at me.
Lines etched by laughter, eyes bright with knowing,
Face creased, scarred and pitted with forgoing,
Harangued and haggled with lines of old age.
A tapestry of choices made, right there on stage.
Suddenly, I recognize this creature standing there.
It's a strange concoction of self-awareness in the glare,
It's my future self, rejigged and rearranged,
Of future and past potential, all there estranged.
There's a whispers of triumph in the hair,
Shades of regret, darkness under the eyes that stare.
Rosy cheeks beam the warmth of relationships much cherished.
A smile half-baked is tangled in lament, entwined, embellished.
I see a montage of moments I've not lived yet.
An amalgam of potential, of what not quite, not yet met.
Of things tried, juggled, shuffled, as corrections.
Of resolutions, lessons, and inner self-reflections.
What dreams were bloomed? What paths were trodden?
What mountains were scaled? In what sea was I sodden?
How has this future seen, and past reshaped, conned the future me?
It's mosaic of maybes, a collage of what could be,
A kaleidoscope of who I could, and might be yet.
An echo chamber for all my tomorrows yet to get.
Shaken and forsaken, I awaken to the real myself,
Saying goodbye, good riddance, to my future self.
Maybe you'll never live to read my thoughts
Maybe you'll never live to see my dreams
Maybe you'll never know about the thorns
a yellow rose carry in between,Maybe
i'll never live to be your daisy or your
white pure little dove, maybe all the maybes
never get to know there was a time
we were so much in love..................
but maybe in the inner of the inside of my heart
i know one day our souls met and they've never been apart,
Maybe these are fool's verses twisted without rhyme,
its early in the morning and now i feel its time..
Maybe i'm not perfect,of that i am so sure..............
If i 'll ever leave you, If i go and lock my door,
its cos i cant stand another heartache,a spirit tear to sore..
Yet there's a little window, a balcony i'll always see,
a scene of sweet remeberance when Us where YOU and ME....
~ ~ ~
When a dove finds home and home finds land
When a dance be born again just to hold his hand
when fresh ink dries and verses find their end..
when hurt is "Hurt too much "to stay and understand...
Maybe.....
Where there is here and here is there
Where pearl and shell will never tear.........
they tear..........
Maybe.............................................
Just maybe as we turn to dust we born to find once more
Our Love and Lust..............
Maybe.....???

My mind my greatest bully
Constantly beating me up shoving me out the way
Steady trying to catch my breath
Try not to regret
The top half of my shirt wet
my mind cying from so much wonder
IF, an's, Maybes
I'm feeling a little shady
I'm in a relationship an when my heart races
Its screaming
"You cant erase this!!"
Your glowing skin
your contagious smile
Cute laugh
your quirkiness
Oh how I miss...
NO SNAP OUT OF IT!
My mind screams
"No that's in the past it did not last shake it off for it will not pass!"
A part of me wishes I never asked you out who knows where we would be
I cant stop my brain from wondering
I dont want to regret
Like every human
I want answers
It's for my heart
the one falling apart
I know I'm meant to feel more
Compare my heart to a toy
Throw it in the corner after it brings you much joy
Move on
I miss the conversation
I miss your intellect
The way you turned me on no matter what time it was or the choice of words you would say
My mind screams
"No that's in the past it did not last shake it off for it will not pass!"
Our time was cut short
I believe there was a meaning for this
What am I supposed to take in from all of this?
I want to hear you say my name again
If it has to end Let's end the right way have one more
Phone call
we can leave off on a laugh instead of hurt
Just like this poem I have been everywhere part of me pretends not to care
Why did we stop talking?
The path we chose we should not have walked nor even talked
My mind screams
"No that's in the past it did not last shake it off for it will not pass!"
AHH I just want to yell !!!!!
Play this back as if it was a movie reel
Recreate my start an end
I wonder if you still think of me they way my mind makes me think of you
Existential uncertainty
arrives like a question older
than the body carrying it~
a quiet inquiry rising
from the marrow’s dim archive,
asking “what does it mean
to move through a world
that never stops shifting?”
Light tries to reason with shadow,
but shadow answers
with yet another riddle,
reminding me that clarity
is just a temporary visitor
and doubt is the more
faithful companion.
Some days the self feels fixed,
a point on a map
I can almost name;
other days it dissolves
into a constellation of maybes,
each star a possibility
I cannot fully claim.
And still~
something in me listens
for the logic beneath the chaos,
the tenuous geometry of purpose
obscured in the noise.
I step anyway,
realizing the path is shaped
as much by my questions
as by my steps,
understanding the unknown
is not my enemy
but a horizon.
Uncertainty remains,
it becomes my teacher~
one that asks me
to live without definitive answers,
to let meaning be something
I participate in
rather than discover.
I am down under
And I haven’t the lights to see
Minds deserving better
This world I can no more be
The helping hand was beyond my grasp
And I am to reach out to nothing
There were maybes only and perhaps
How am I ever amount to anything?
Closer and closer they were driven from
Further and further they all appeared
Just when I belong they are all gone
Happier was I to have known I’ve feared
And the world shall never know
The world itself didn’t have to
Nothing more to the world I’ll show
When in the world I’m lesser then few
Was I down under?
Is there still a light to see?
Do I deserve better?
When this world I can no more be
