On the stage of life, I paint my lips crimson, a smile stitched with invisible thread,
While the scar beneath my ribs sings a melody only I can hear.
The halogen spotlights burn intensely, bleaching the shadows where my pain retreats,
Like a sleeping child, small, forgotten, yet still breathing in the deafening silence.
Pirouetting with borrowed grace, each step a sonnet, each glance a verse,
The audience sighs, mistaking the tremor in my hands for passion,
Unaware that it is the echo of a wound I refuse to name.
Ah, the art of vanishing in plain sight—how the body becomes both blade and sheath.
At the end, they throw roses, their petals soft like apologies I will never receive,
I bow deeply, ever deeper, until my spine becomes a question mark—
Is it enough? Will it ever be enough to play this silent role amid applause?
And in this flow of thoughts, each moment becomes a suspended question,
A dance of shadows and lights, a struggle between what I show and who I am.
I wear my mask with elegance, as the world spins around me,
A stage full of illusions, where I am both the actor and the spectacle.
In the silence between applause, I think of my scar that sings,
Of the child asleep in the shadows, of the questions that curve my spine,
And I wonder, deep in my soul, if I will ever find answers,
If my stitched smile will ever become a free, unrestrained laughter.

Key Verse – Mark 1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY LIFE’S BEGINNING

Lord God, You are my life’s Beginning,
and You prepared me for Your way
Thank You for Your voice, calling me to walk in Your paths’ straight way
How wonderful is Your forgiveness for my sins which You did say
By Your blood’s power to allow me in Your kingdom to stay.

Lord God, You are my life’s Beginning,
and You invited me to come after You willingly
Thank You for Your love, moving me to follow You obediently
How great is Your authority for my servanthood undoubtedly
By Your sovereignty’s leadership to make me labour for You wholeheartedly.

Lord God, You are my life’s Beginning,
and You healed me of my iniquities’ sickness
Thank You for Your mercy, enabling me to depart from wickedness
How amazing is Your compassion that touches my brokenness
By Your holiness cleansing me from filthiness of worldliness.

Lord God, You are my life’s Beginning,
and You received me to Your service-nest
Thank You for Your command, urging me to dedicate to give my fullest
How glorious is Your way of fashioning me toward perfection’s zest
By Your conversion to which I resort along Your teaching so best.

Lord God, You are my life’s Beginning,
and You made me whole toward godly repentance
Thank You for Your grace, filling me with Your joy’s acceptance
How sweet is Your fellowship that plucks me out from carnal resistance
By Your kindness around lawful standards’ assistance.

Lord God, You are my life’s Beginning,
and You restored me from withering spirituality
Thank You for Your peace, melting me of heart’s hardness and insensitivity
How timely is Your counsel for my conviction’s stability
By Your revival along Your truth’s certainty.

Lord God, You are my life’s Beginning,
and You surnamed me as Your child
Thank You for Your adoption, laying hold on me from being hell-defiled
How firm is Your strength that defeats my condemnation state, so wild
By Your care to establish me in Your will, and within be freely exiled.

Color Me Red

Color me red
And blunt my bangs
Obscure my brows
And shield them from the sun
Replicate your enigma

Polished and shined
A mirror to your soul
Twin pools of gray
With a hint of blue
That's ever growing wider

What is it you see
When you meet your gaze?

Please hold me tight
Enough to leave your mark
Pink crescent moons
Dyeing my shoulders
Serving as your earthbound tether

What was it you saw
When you met your gaze?

Have you lost your place
Among the stars
My Full Moon Queen
My Full Moon Queen?

Your abdicated throne
Gleams pitch-black here
My Full Moon Queen
My Full Moon Queen.

Premium Member Love's Truth

Your smile unfolds warmly
Like morning breaks through windows
My heart wakes to you

Hands remember every touch
Since our first embrace

Eyes meet, stories shared
Over coffee cups steaming
Time stops just for us

Kitchen dance on tired feet
After work's long day

Children's laughter rings
Through our paint-chipped corridor
Home grows rich with joy

Daily bread tastes sweeter when shared
Between loving souls

Years fold like letters
Kept safe in memory's box
Each wrinkle tells love

Grey hairs mark paths we've wandered
Hand in hand, still strong

Dawn breaks anew now
As we wake to birdsong sweet
Love grows evergreen

Beyond youth's first blossoming
Truth deepens with time

God Is My Mask

Night comes to relieve morning duty's pain,
That surely dissappear when down to bed
Before dawn announce its recurrent chain...
Time binds me with; keeps lightly, heavy head.

I wonder how smooth,
Sometimes the day runs...
Which ought be hectic,
But grace covers up.

Like chaff in the wind, worrying lost its place
To calm silence, ease promotes on my chest.
How soon it disappeared without bare trace;
Its roaring disturbance been laid to rest.

Faith's weapon does soothe
With easiness, stuns...
Yet seems electic
To redeem up.

Pride in money; love in trust, both ends hell.
Mark of respect; beast of lust, both marks vain.
For none without permission dare runs well,
Even when passion leads any off pain.

Keep growing through past,
Fighting speech's freedom...
When law blinds justice,
To stage caring heart.

Peace surely heals; war is ever wounded.
Right never fall; wrong stands per chance lay down...
When courage digressed, fairly bounded
Tears ever end gratitude- ingrate clown.

While growing real fast,
A matured forum;
Right-wrong armistice,
Tears not such apart.

On God I mask my s, defeats and wrong.
In him I have found deep love, joy and cheers
Despite how much more sins I hide in song...
He never forsake to forgive my tears.

Oh, my feelings shout!
What my wrongs ought spoil,
His grace mask throughout...
Each day doubt paints toil.

Hallelujah

Remnants of the Past

Along the eroding banks of the Minnesota River
Lies a tranquil scene that will make you shiver
Where nature and man join together as one
Entwined around debris that time has spun.

Acre upon acre farther than the eye can see
Hidden underground rusted metals flee
Bogged down by mud time stands still
Where trees and brush continue to spill.

A historical town with stories to tell
Of steamboats landing under yesterday’s spell
Where mills and founderies drowned in the past
Mastered by floods the river cast.

In the quiet river valley where eagles soar
The support of volunteers continue to pour
With trucks and skid loaders they renovate the land
Removing the debris once left by man.

The hum of equipment echoes throughout
Giving nature a chance to sprout
Where metal and tires layer each other
Showcasing debris nature and time will smother.

Piece by piece the past is removed
But the power of the river still carves its groove
Where the trains lone whistle echoes each day
And natures growth still guides the way.

Today the river continues to fight back
Claiming its territory with a sedimentary attack
Wave after wave it buries the past
Leaving behind a mark that will last.

Along the eroding banks of the Minnesota River
Lie remnants of the past that will make you shiver
Where nature and man grow together as one
And tales of progress are diligently spun.

POETRYSOUP

I did not find PoetrySoup.
It summoned me.

For the hungry soul
is guided
by invisible hands.

This is not a café.
It is a temple
disguised as words.

Here,
souls do not compete—
they remember.

Mark Pringle did not build a platform.
He opened a gate.
A quiet gate
for wandering spirits
who lost themselves
in a loud world.

In a world that devours prophets,
he made a table.
In a world that silences seers,
he gave them breath.

Here,
poetry is not decoration.
It is divination.

Each Souper
is both pilgrim and priest,
serving fragments of eternity
in human language.

I stop here often.
Not to escape—
but to return.

To those still wandering,
starving in noise,
thirsty for meaning—

Come.

This is not soup.
This is remembrance.
This is alchemy.
This is home.

Kindness

There’s no greater virtue than kindness. No greater value than fellow-feeling.
Goodwill is not to be comprehended by reason. Kindness is vital for the human existence. It may offer no applause, no rewards. Yet it is an important value to
harness. Concerns for the others foster a more caring society. Little things done
when no one is watching are kindness in its truest form. Kindness allows you to
break down walls and build new bridges. Kindness, Mark Twain considered, as
a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see,

Acts of random kindness is God in action.

when greed runs rampart
and distrust builds barriers
kindness is the key
