The Deepest Ocean....

Walking along the warm sands of the shoreline

My black Belgian shepherd by my side

Sea lions barking, sea gulls flying, towards the sailboats beyond the inlet

Pondering the solipsism, amid soliloquy divisions....

While the winter sun, shines down its solace

As I glance toward the southeast, and beyond its distant horizon

Knowing, within my pulsing raspberry heart, which pounds for her, these melodies

For it is somewhere there, beneath the whispering wooded trees

Where she wakes, she creates, she believes, and, she breathes....

In this maya of a moment I can see her

White silken dress, atop her golden pristine flesh

Blowing gently in this breeze, like an Angel within a dream....

Her rubious red lips, and her glistening strawberry auburn hair, flowing

Within this deja vu premonition she smiles, this certain, glowing gleam

As her endless chocolate eyes, blink, beneath her heavenly painted lashes

While bluebirds and red breasted robins gather, with all of nature, roundabout her side....

Solomons-seal upon my palm, holding the infloressence, as the Parus bicolor begins to sing,
its lullaby

Tinnitus sounds that twinkle in time, calling, as Tinkerbell, slowly fades away ~

Beyond these tangerine skies so close, inside, these blueberry wanting scenes

Where her words chime, to a longing heart that beats, resounding, from this rising sea....

I bleed, as I fight this space which lies between us

For in my soul, today, she is all that I can see!

Dare I tell her that I love her?

Dare I ask her to join me, within my own world?

Walking along the shoreline, my shepherd by my side, boats beyond the inlet, sea gulls in
flight

Pondering the solipsism, amid soliloquy divisions....

While the winter sun, shines down its solace

And I smile, within this deja vu premonition, of what dreams, may someday be?

Tinkerbell dancing, dressed, in blueberries tangerine

It Is You I Dream Of

A flower grows from beneath a blanket
Of fine and purest white
It reaches toward the sun for warmth,
For heat and for the light

My love for you grows stronger still,
Despite the surrounding cold
My heart is yours, bartered gone
For yours has it been sold

Its petals shine from morning dew
Its stem grows stiff and strong
It stands strong through the freezing cold
It stands the winter long

I long for you, for your soft touch
I miss the way you smile
The longer that we stay apart
The longer every mile

The flower stretches through the snow
It reaches toward the sun
And now without you the color is gone
The flower's petals, dun

But as we talk, and as we learn
The flower comes back to life
The snow now melts and goes away
As you take away my strife

Spring is here and growth abounds
As you and I are one
We are together, we are in love
The snow for now is done

I see the future, in dreams I have
Of our life, long and true
I see the times where all I need
Are comforting words from you

I see the times when winter comes
As winter tends to do
But we still love, and we still live
And I do still love you

And so we live, with children ours
And a life of much to see
With love we live, to live we love
Happy together are we

I see the flower, older now,
But still strong with fresh new leaves
I see it growing, tall and strong
Reaching to the eaves

We are now old, as years have passed
But old together are we
And strong our love still today
As strong as it can be

Together: Walking - Part 1

FALL -

Getting colder
with winds picking up
and leaves swirling
around us,
we stride
hand in hand
or arm in arm
if the gusts are high enough.
Walking together
after the dusk of Summer fades
and the dawn of Fall lightens up,
we're heading
nowhere in particular,
just enjoying the outdoor sights
with new insights on how much
we love each other
and thinking of ways to keep warm later
on this Fall day that will become night.

WINTER -

Brisk winds and dark gray
with no Sun just clouds
on this Winter day
in which we've picked up the pace
to help stay warm,
still arm in arm
for another outside appreciation
of God's creation
and the ability He gave us to walk.
Walking together
means we're not alone,
not in body, mind or soul.
We stroll along familiar places
seeing some down right chilly faces,
our own being colder than we'd like.
But, the cold gives us an excuse
to down hot chocolate
then dive under the covers
and learn how to thaw Eskimo pies
by interlocking our thighs.
Our hearts light the Winter night
and melt us down like candle wax,
but, by the next morning's light
we're still here, warm and just as bright.

You Are My Sun

You Are My Sun
By Rick Rucker

In Southern California, the Winter doesn’t stay too long,
This year, its effects weren’t felt very strong,

Luckily, I met you in the Fall,
Before Winter had taken hold at all,

Before the frigid weather had begun,
I discovered You, and You are my Sun.

Normally, through the Winter, in my “cave” I hide,
But, with you, I can now go outside,

You are just so Hot,
About the Cold, I flat forgot!

A simple Kiss from You, can melt me down,
Make me silly, like a clown,

Being alone was my greatest fear,
No longer afraid, now that You are here.

Deliriously happy, and feeling bold,
Now that I have You to hold.

I am happy, in any season,
And you are the reason.

I no longer fear the weather,
Every day, sunshine on the heather,

Too bad not every man could have one like You,
I can’t imagine the Happiness that would ensue!

Premium Member Summer Mourned

In coldness of a winter night
With sliver of a moon for light,
I walk along the frozen way,
Remembering a summer's day.
A day when flowers bloomed in pride
And brightened up the country-side.
The trees encased in green array,
Whispered "The easy times will stay".
But loveliest of days don't last ,
Too soon the verdant beauty's past
And with our lives and loves in pain,
We doubt the lushness comes again.
Come, come, my love and walk with me.
The wind is blowing out to sea.
Seasons forever roll around.
Lost summer's love can be refound.
We'll seek the violets where they hide,
The daffodil's winter abide.
The tiny snowbells showing through,
Are proof enough love can renew.
Triumphantly, one bright spring day,
The blossoms as a love bouquet
Will cheer a winter near dried heart.
Just so a true love can restart.

Absorbed

What soul is this that pass my window pane?
No fairer sight than thee as I awake.
The sun that lights the sky but is so plain,
grows dimmer, as it passes in your wake.
At times, the spirit in you burns so bright,
that blossoms bloom when winters on the wane.
And when the sun is covered by the night,
that strolls across a bright blue winter main,
when winter nights are covered with a shroud,
they brighten in the flicker of your eye.
This life you've touched has made me very proud
yet, touches every soul beneath the sky.

Reflections in the winter moon you light,
that draws me to you every winter night
