Premium Member Locked In a Jar

Does the one who loves you know who you are?
She needs a real man not just a facade.
Don't keep your heart locked away in a jar.

Not being open she'll think you're a fraud.
She longs to share every part of herself.
She needs a real man not just a facade.

Your heart is out of reach on that old shelf.
Where she can see it but it's out of reach.
She longs to share every part of herself.

But you hold onto her just like a leach.
In the glass jar it looks so very clear.
Where she can see it but it's out of reach.

If you open it what is there to fear?
Are there dark spots you don't want her to see?
In the glass jar it looks so very clear.

Is it that you're afraid that she will flee?
Why won't you reveal every part of you?
Are there dark spots you don't want her to see?

There are some good men, be one of the few.
It's time to reveal every part of you.
Help the one who loves you, know who you are.
Don't keep your heart locked away in a jar.

Premium Member Enlargment

I have poured out my heart like water
But only those understanding will see
I have laid the grief of the children
before the King appointed to be

I have studied each fragile connection
and the way that men hurt their own
the shield and the scars sealed deeply
and left too many hearts without home

Slave to traditions and teachings
don’t taste don’t touch and don’t care
Ten thousand things that you shouldn’t
of ideological stoning beware

But none can follow examples
of courses they don’t understand
but let’s flay them alive with blazing
and their lives let’s mark with a brand

When learning you to walk upright
when you fell were you beaten and shamed
if just now you are learning to do right
is it just when you fall to be framed

In the gentle stillness
in movement softer than a breeze
pictures of their future
the rest of man at ease

And tender are the Words
that coax the fragile shoots
whose mildness alights
the growth of goodly fruits

Your promises have held me
and voice mine ears carress
in delicate expressions
which avows your loves address

You have drawn us with affection
with persuasions clearly pure
assurances of a truthful pledge
of a love that will endure

In earnest is your bestowal
the announcements of your speech
in readiness to accomplish
to divulge the heart you teach

The essence of your compassion
the ardor of your intent
the center of our being
to its enlargement are we bent

We waded through embankments
and rivers did we ford
sought for the precious things
what is the Truth of Lord

You are the Sun the Moon the Rain
the energy that creates growth
the spirit who supports all Life
and to save it given oath

We will forever turn to you
and happily throw our crown
prostrate in humble gratitude
For the Love within have found

My Children I Let God Fight The Voices In My Mind

When there's trouble in my mind.
I say, "God please help me at this time!"
He knows everything we all go through.
Because He created them, me and you!
He knows before we do it, we'll be mad.
Knows just how to comfort us when we're sad.
When my thoughts take over, or I'm ill.
I ask Him to help me, because I know He will.
When someone makes me want to fight.
I ask Him "please help me love and treat them right!"
Sometimes there are places and things I forget.
By Asking, God will remind me and He hasn't failed yet!
As I'm driving to volunteer, while on the way.
I ask "God please help me to smile for 4 hours today!"
As soon a my foot hits the hospital floor.
My God gives me a smile, that people cannot ignore.
They compliment me all the time.
My reply is "That's God answering a prayer of mine!"
I tell you there's no thing too small for God to do.
There's no limit to Him showing how much He loves you.
My children when thoughts try to dominate your mind.
Start reading and declaring God's words every time!
There's a saying, "Music soothes the savage beast!"
Put on some worship music and ask God for some "PEACE!"
You don't have to give a Pastor, one single dime.
What our Creator wants most, is the currency of our time.

It's Back My Chronic Companion Returns

Not sure how fond I am of this write very different style to my usual genre. #experimenting

Well look whos back again
My old compardra
My closest companion chronic pain
What a lovely way to see in the new year
And spend new year's Day
Alone rolling around the bed
Unfortunately in agony
How romantic I bet it said
Maybe it is all in my head
My imagination running wild
Shame it's come up with something I dread
Why can't it just leave me alone
Is it intent on constantly reappearing
Till it's isolated me from everything
and everyone one I've known
Maybe I don't want to be alone
Maybe I don't want to be stuck in my head
Listening to all the negative things it's said
I just want to be free,
free of the pain and misery
It teased me for a time
I thought it had said it's goodbyes
But like a predator
It just allowed me enough time to recover
So It wouldn't all be ended and my casket buried
Before it pounced like a panther
And it sunk it's teeth in
right next to my gugular
Its not finished with me yet
like it would grant me a quick painless death
Why won't it just leave me be
or do the kind thing and put me out of my misery
Surely I've done my time served my servitude
Paid my pennants for whatever crime
Will it not be satisfied till it spills my blood
Or has me hung drawn and quartered
In one last final act of vengance
To inflict the ultimate pain on my broken body
Must I scream like William Wallace for freedom
Will it then relent and show me mercy
I think not, I think it thrives on my cries
Like a psychopath It smiles at my demise
I bet it loves to just sit and watch
Yes it's back again
But this time I don't think it sees the need for a reprieve,
this time it's never leaving it's not stopping
Because it has no plans on ever getting going or being gone.
Obviously I've got a lifers debt left owing,
it would no doubt say sing.

Premium Member Sassy and Genghis

Sassy and Genghis they now get along
Sassy liked Kublai but he is now gone
Old Genghis still a little grouch
he growls at Sassy if she joins him on the couch
Sassy will at times kiss him and sniff his little face
when he is behind her sneaking a sniff takes place
Under the desk Genghis loves to hide and stay
when she crawls to greet him he growls her away
If on the bed Genghis cautious for Sassy rolls
he will yap at her and even hide behind pillows
Treat time Sassy gobbles hers right away
Genghis takes his time teasing her all day
Sassy lies down in front of him whimpering and whines
Genghis growls and wags his tail taking his sweet time
Though Genghis is little and Sassy twice as big
she never angers toward him is playful instead
She will steal his treat right under his nose
when playing keep away stay on your toes
They love barking together at anything in sight
they are more amusing than causing a fright.

Sometimes Sassy will sleep beside him
and Genghis is okay.
Without our sweet Sassy
Genghis would be lonely every day.

Premium Member To Love Blindly

Why do you constantly keep saying you love me?
What did I ever do or say to make you feel that way?
There has never been an intimate moment between us.
We have never passionately kissed or embraced each other.
We never walked holding each other’s hands like lover’s do.
What have I ever done or you think I did to deserve your love?
How can you stand there and say that you love me?
You are either crazy or just another liar.
In either case, I know you will hurt me.
How could I possibly believe in you?
I can see you, hear you, and touch you,
but there is no way you can be for real.
I am too broken to take a leap of faith.
My heart has lied to me far too often.
I can no longer trust my own feelings.
If you do really love me, you must be a fool
I am too damaged to be loved by anyone.
A true heart would be wasted on me now.
I am a bundle of doubts and fears
wrapped in a blanket of insecurity.
Why would anyone want to love me?

The shattered heart captures the caring eyes
of the one capable of seeing a beautiful heart
reflected in the smallest of shards left behind
in the consuming wake of false love’s savage fury.
The one who sees a heart once full of passion
flailing in the rapids of sorrow desperately
grasping for any reason to believe in love again.
The one with hands strong enough to pull
it free from the perilous fate that awaits.
The one who sees great beauty in imperfection,
who thinks a ravaged heart is worth saving,
who believes that it can be restored to splendor,
who blindly loves not what it has become,
but all it could be.

Premium Member Victory Holds the Keys Turning

So many people in this modern world lost souls testing our faith
pretending to have virtues locked inside a shell hallowed
Their moral rights have become so twisted with hidden lies
they have lost all values when it comes to highlighting the truth
trying to justify their own hidden weakness
The false appearance of love and caring has a deluded vision
creatures of habit attack religious beliefs
creating division condemning them unholy
characterised by delusional ideas of judgement
falling down tortured by sin craving attention
There is a price to be paid one way or the other
blindsided by the deceiver they are the tool
Destroying principles believing something that is untrue
misery always loves company punishing the good
wickedness has no mercy when it comes to the suffering innocent
The price of such a shame will come with chaos and discomfort
in the end we all know who wins

Premium Member We Are the Usa

Patriots, heroes, mothers, fathers, sinners, saviors and saints, undivided.
Our country is made up of people from everywhere else in the world.
USA stands strong; we are together in this no matter what, citizens united.
I feel a pride that bursts the buttons off my coat when our flag is unfurled.

Imagine every single one of us has a loved one who has been in the service.
My patriotic daughter served four years in Air Force, three in the reserve.
Joined during the Gulf War. I was proud, but also a teensy bit nervous.
An American loves America from California to New York without any swerve.

When we sing America the Beautiful it is followed by My Country Tis of Thee.
Once started, we cannot do anything but belt out our feelings about this land.
Flag, baseball, apple pie, The White House,The Great Lakes. Are you with me?
Feel your memories and excitement mount as these sites are spanned...

Sure, some may make fun of certain states, calling them names. Making fun.
If you disparage the USA, you had better do it in another country friend.
Better not do it in front of me, for we are together, united, under the gun.
We are United States of America, standing together in this, united to the end.

Silence screams soundlessly
Twisting through crimson veins
Lingering on the heart’s breath
Like a lemon whisper of faith

Light whispers soft, in saffron
Dreams of joyful, vibrant heartbeats
Painting stories of tangerine moons
Across the aquamarine sky in June

Laughter laces through the creation
Natural brilliance flickers with coral
Sunsets who listen to the soft smile
Of a soul who loves the lilac mystery

Joy soothes and comforts, in hues of
Chartreuse clouds that drift on the night
Hopeful and happy, wishing to color
Every thought in watermelon prayers

Music dances like a piece of exhilaration
Weaving love through the temptations
That come alive on the birth of a soft rain
As it pours out a song through lavender hope

With a reflective echo, praise falls across
My tender, longing for faith that is promised
In every new dawn, with each fresh wanting
With each different color, I am taught to listen...

To the expressions of compassion and tenderness!

Bless are we with peace, in the midst of pain or joy, a pet, a joyful,
full of warm loving life, a spirit that finds a place in our heart.
 Quote _ by poet

My Peanut, a Yorkie
my pet, also my friend
he is my shadow halve
a puppy that loves his
many toys he does have.

My Peanut, a Yorkie
long silky silver-gray
hair, with russet- blond mane
tiny legs, underfoot,
a continuous pain.

My Peanut, a Yorkie
loves his tasty tidbits
you fulfill his wishes
loves you to pieces with
wet nose and drench kisses.

My Peanut, a Yorkie
his barks echo throughout
the residential walls.
My companion from dawn
arises 'till night falls.
