Premium Member Who's To Say

The voices matter not
what they might say..

Please, toss the scorn and names aside
For, who can say, who has the right
To be the one, who will decide
Who can love...or who is a man?

~

There was a man of whom I speak
So like a rose, with gentle hands
A butterfly, alone,
could safely light upon his palm
and want to stay.

This man could love a poem
Could kiss a baby, could love a song,
and still be big and strong

He could hear the music, and weep a tear
just because of beauty, heard

He made a difference, with kindness done
until his journey over, and he was gone
A stronger man?....there was none

Cross Roads

Here I am mirroring my soul

descending in the inner of my core

investigating my cobweb of subconscious

analazying as I listen to the beating of my heart

Who am I?I am that Woman so deeply in love

with so many questions, with no many answers

Here I am,the prosecutor of my thoughts and every emotion

going deeper in the moonless Well of doubts

not knowing which path to take

I don't want to take the path which leads me

to the echo of hollowness, the bruises of pain

I've been there,still damp,still in solitude

haunted by its'darkness,living with its'ghost

I can still feel it all...all vivid in the shadow

and I will not return to that cursing thomb of snakes

I'm on my way to find the path, that path I longed for

the rocky path which leads me to the Silver stream

the stream where I can bathe naked

Where I can feel fresh water on my skin

that stream where I can breatthe, Where I don't dream

and watch my dreams sail away with dawn

I'm gonna find that place,a place where I'll be loved

a place where I can live and love in a forever

Here I am,in the Middle of Nowhere

asking myself which direction shall I lead?

Here I am,waiting justice for the inner of my being

so very close to heaven, yet not so far from hell

Here I am,still at Crossroad

The Quest

Forget everything.
Forget all our dreams.
Of children and marriage and life filled so meticulously.
For once in this lifetime.
I just want to be me.

Forget all the passion
All the love that we plead.
 Forget all the anger
 Forget all the zeal.

Remember the heart
 That once used to beat.
 Not needing a battery
To complete every feat.

 Remember the need
To be more than you can conceive.
Remember the want
Remember the heat.

Remember the greed
To procure every stead.
To walk in the park square.
With your head
Not facing your knees.

Revive the action
Revive thee please.
Revive every emotion
That once set you free.

Steady you stand
No need or demand.
Speeding heart you recede.
 No barrier to compete.

The fire rein stilled.
The love refilled.
Words come so easily with a power
That I had forgotten how to feel.

Do not restrain me
Or refrain from thee.
This love that once made thee
Shall never be regained.

Love lost love found
Love stolen and then gathered around.
 So arguably untainted
So incompletely infatuated

Sunstroke

Eyelids heavy with memories
Cover lights and shadows of a hospital in ruins.
A baby with grown-up fingers
Reads the past in Braille
Barely touching the meaning of broken cobblestone streets of her past.
Her fingertips retract like eyes of snails back into the present
Where handsome men - immoral in their animalism -
try to understand LOVE for the very first time.
Great White sharks kill tri-athletes and place them in immortality
as writers reach the end of the journey frustrated by their lack of gills ...
The torrid yellow burden rolls down incinerated crystals between her breasts
She senses people as zigzags with burglarized drawers

rhythmically roaming up and down the Riviera...
The ocean breeze murmurs: “ Michelle, my belle...”, “ I love, I love you, I looove you...”
Invading her nostrils with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee

and the smell of barbeque that, once she could digest.

The sun drops gold coins into the turquoise as they ricochet into her degenerating eyes.

I see myself in her from the above as unscrupulous tides rip open our sandy abdomen

Violently sucking my body's sand sculpture back to the undertow.

It's almost dusk and seagulls fly through me to a secret shelter I wish I had...

I'm scared to fall asleep as I might wake up without wings

while numbness's taking over my bleeding shoulder blades...

"The body of a peddler with broken clocks on sale

was found tonight

on the landing pad of a hospital in ruins"

Pleasure Or Pain?

Pleasure or pain, pain or pleasure?
Who is to say what one does treasure?
Flogger, whip, paddle or the cane
Are just few things to bring on pain.

I love to bite and claw.
And blood I do so draw.
My command he does obey
And not even just in play.

It gives me infinite joy
To know he will not be coy.
Our world honesty is a must
For without it there is no trust.

He so needs what I give
This will be the way we live.
Where my wishes are prominent.
It is that of submissive and Dominant.

Now for those that know me
You will begin to finally see
That this is not a game
Nor will there be any shame.

For I am still a southern belle.
One that will give you holy hell.
A lady I am, just not so proper and prim
Who would have thought I would love BDSM?

Firewalking

I have watched the sun pour fire
into a glistening lake

I have heard a miracle born
as mornings line did break

I have seen a thousand angels
living in this world

I have survived as feeble cries
were ignored and never heard

but it was when your gentle hand
caressed my rivers bed,
shooting for the spiritual
I couldn’t care if i was dead

brushing off the peelings
of dread and helplessness,
holding on for sobs
to stop breaking in my chest

kaleidoscopes of love
are thrashing through my veins,
filling every capillary
and adrenaline’s attained

for all that I had searched
it was buried deep inside
and now that its unearthed
I know I can survive

all through the fights and conflicts
as life and love have crossed,
I always felt alone
and sometimes thought I lost

but now with love of life
my shield and spear do shine,
and I stroll onto this lonely road
but all our steps are still in time

I’ll see you in the summer
as white roses bloom again,
and a stream of fire will flow
from the ink within my pen

Premium Member When You Are In Love

(Dedicated to a good friend of mine)

Some many people say that love,
Can mend a broken heart,
And too many things I know,
Are breaking now yours apart

True love can make you so happy,
But sometimes, all the opposite of that you know,
Then love can make you feel so funny and blue,
That's when all over again your feelings are so low!

Love can make you or break you,
Love can be so wonderful, that also it's true,
There's a big difference between these two,
True love will never forsake or leave you

When you feel that love in your heart, you know,
Make it every part of your life and don't let it go!

Premium Member I Still Do

Do you ever dream of better times
Of peaceful days and nursery rhymes
When love and faith walk hand in hand
War and hate are forever banned
Do you believe there will be a day
When peace and love are here to stay
Better times for me and you
Keep believing. I still do
Do you ever say a silent prayer
That all mankind begins to care
Where leaders leave their ivory tower
And do not succumb to greed and power
Respect for life comes shining through
Please keep praying. I still do
Do you believe the day will come
When man will be delivered from
All the pain and all the sorrow
Finding hope in a bright tomorrow
Dreaming dreams that do come true
Believe in those dreams. I still do

SUSPICIOUS LIES (( collaboration * Rick Parise ))

by~ RICK PARISE

When jealousy is thrown out the door
and compromise is welcomed in, it is then
a novel of strewn pages empty and silent shall
reap enraptured song
For our love of bitter regrets and expectations
shall fall with the setting sun

And within that early morning light
a new love shall rise victorious
where promise endeavors
and soft shadows lie

by~ POET D.

The guardian of our love has risen once again
I share with you my love the sun and moon
Two rivals as we hold hands
The vigilantist in your eyes, will now kiss me softly
Like a flower our new love will bloom
Win or lose, you are the one I choose

And within that midnight light
our love will confuse no more
promise will overcome insecurities
faithfulness will soften all

Statement of Expectations

What matters in life?
Worrying when a bill comes in….?
Thinking about the next mortgage payment?
Play the lottery to allow your dreams to sing?
To wonder what It would be like to have a condo by the sea?
Wondering all the time, but to what degree?
The love of family is what really counts
A walk in the park, how liberating
Cooling Mountain top air
Blessed to be alive
Happiness is free
Love is too
Open up
Feel the soul
Touch others with passion
Inspiration is the food of the core
To love another person is a gift of no cost
To hurt another cost you to the highest degree
Living your life out of temptation
Clarity out of the foggy mist
Essence true in life
Bliss with smiles
Adoring you
