SUSPICIOUS LIES  (( collaboration * Rick Parise ))

When jealousy is thrown out the door
and compromise is welcomed in, it is then
a novel of strewn pages empty and silent shall
reap enraptured song
For our love of bitter regrets and expectations
shall fall with the setting sun
 
And within that early morning light
a new love shall rise victorious 
where  promise endeavors
and soft shadows lie

The guardian of our love has risen once again
I share with you my love the sun and moon
Two rivals as we hold hands
The vigilantist in your eyes, will now kiss me softly
Like a flower our new love will bloom 
Win or lose, you are the one I choose

And within that midnight light 
our love will confuse no more
promise will overcome insecurities
faithfulness will soften all
