The sound of a clear Blackbird call
Echoed through the trees and over the fields making me stop and fall
Upon my knees his song followed on and on
An angelic sound of music ‘twas the Blackbird song
I cried tears and tears listening on and on
The sounds of pure, crystal life; beauty found in this world of war where the madness of men goes on and on
Through the smokey mist I could not see this beauty sing
To me there was never on earth a more wonderful thing
After days and nights of bullets, screaming, tears and bombs
Hearing the crying fields through the restless nights as death lingers on and on
Knowing for poor souls out there who’ll never make it back
Dying afraid and alone; dying on their backs
In my trench I wait for the next whistle call
I see in the eyes of men that their souls are due to fall
The rumbling war in the distance sings a dinging, disturbing song
Down the lines of trench as fighting begins and goes on and on
I find myself waiting for fate to play it’s hand
When the whistle calls I struggle to find courage to again enter no-mans land
I find myself waiting for the sounds of the Blackbird song.........
Through tears I find some beauty in war listening to this dead mans’ song
God, as I close my eyes and pray to You,
I ask You for an important thing to do:
Please, let my daughter grow up strong;
Let her be safe and away from wrong;
Let her laugh, let her play, and let her run;
Let her find her moments in the sun;
Let her know joy and be filled with glee;
Let her see the pride that abounds in me;
Let her know You and answer Your call;
Let her not from Your graces fall;
Let her grow in love and peace;
Let her zest for life never cease;
Let her beauty shine inside and out;
Let her discover what life is all about;
Let her find love and share in its desire;
Let her have children to share and admire;
Let her find happiness in all that's around;
Let her laughter be her one true sound;
Let her serve well with all her charms;
Let her seek comfort in Your caring arms;
Let her find beauty in all that life offers;
Let her be blessed with overfilled coffers;
Let her grow old in a very graceful manner;
Let her children carry on the family banner;
Let her life be an example of Your true love;
And let her fly away on the wings of a dove.

Nothing is happier than knowing our existence
We are born with a purpose
Life isn't here for nothing
Life is shared like a leaven bread.
Nothing is happier than knowing the right person
Knowing is like swimming the ocean floor
Excavating the ground for ore
Connecting someone for happiness.
Nothing is happier than knowing yourself
Knowing is like looking glass self
Showcasing skills and talents to all
Knowing to love and to be loved.
Nothing is more happier than knowing God
Acknowledging that everything we have are all His
We came from dust and dust we go back
All life, beauty and affluence all because of Him.
I see Beauty all around me
It is in the wonder of fields of golden grain,
Gently swaying to the rhythm of an embracing breeze,
It is in the happy bird song on a clear spring morning,
In sparkling diamonds clinging to soft dewy grass.
Beauty is in a meadow of wildflowers in full bloom,
And you will discover it in the slow flowing, dancing creek.
It is in the glory of fiery fall foliage,
And it lives in the shimmering, descending snow.
There is beauty in the soft stillness of a calm night,
And in the silvery shimmer of magic moonlight.
It radiates in a brilliant sunrise
And it rides the swell of the majestic tide.
But without you, I would be lost,
All this beauty would be meaningless.
You make my sun rise, and my nights glow,
Your touch warms my heart and wakes my soul,
You give my life beauty.
Bridget Aubrey
I can recall another lifetime, one where I could fly
Gazing down upon the earth, moonlight glinting in my eye
A king among the stars with a piercing call that could terrify
I was once a mighty falcon, a raptor of the sky
Soaring majestically brought exhilarating thrills
Cruising deep valleys and magnificent hills
Preparation for the hunt was how I honed my skills
The sweat and toil all worthwhile when the blood finally spills
I patiently stalked my prize below; death was now en route
My mind made up instantly, my focus absolute
Diving at breakneck speed was my key attribute
Blazing through the clouds, the Reaper’s in hot pursuit
The thrill of the hunt, an innate yearning since ancient Babylon
My prey chirped sweet melodies until he was sprung upon
I clasped him tightly within my powerful talon
His life force swiftly dispatched as his soul journeyed to Avalon
Moments after my car crash, I was overcome with visions so clear
Echoes of a life I lived before I ended up here
Memories flooded back, and down my cheek rolled a welcome tear
For this alternate existence, I once held so dear
A past life as a falcon engulfed my human brain
Vast skies were my territory, my conquered domain
I embraced the rasping wind and a deluge of torrential rain
This incredible revelation has numbed all my agonising pain
I was once quite different from the man that lies here now
I've awoken from this human dream, and I just can’t comprehend how
Fortunately, my injuries are just too severe, so it’s time to take a bow
As I long to return to those blue skies once more, that’s my dying vow
“When the heart desires what it can't possess
There lie's a hunger that’s never fed.”Quote - Poet's own
I hungered for love a long, long time
Love that bestows life beauty and rhyme
To relish feelings of happiness
Rather than horrendous ghastliness.
For joyous is what life’s meant to be
Contentment peace and tranquility
Home is where the heart lives, it is said
Where one can sleep soundly in their bed.
Not so when one’s world is retarded
Making sure every word is guarded
Unable to explore what’s in store
In the world that’s outside one’s front door.
A sad childhood stunts the inner growth
Emotionally, mentally, both
Alike a bird that’s trapped in a cage
Never allowed to have centre stage.
That is how it is and was for me
Till I grew up eventually
Then I met my love and we got wed
So now I don’t have a hunger unfed.
Golden park that turns to evening dim,
And the soft music of bird on a limb;
Rose garden, in the heat of a summer,
And blushing orchards in deep slumber!
Sateen moon dispels the evening gloom,
To show the beauty of a night abloom!
Noonday, shadows and the lover's touch,
Ballrooms, parties and dancing much!
Capricious rains that lash bent trees,
And scatters the lush, wild refugees.
Seasons defined by our nearest star,
Yet, season to season isn't very far.
Deep and mellow, the warm wave of time-
Barely savored youth, before the prime.
Inky nights with vivid destiny dance,
And all come alive each dawn's radiance!
Sweet as honey are borne precious moments,
So full of meaning and so full of portent,
Like sleeping beauty's very first kiss,
And like enchantment's very first bliss!
My last love letter...
Not to be opened until my death
My Dearest Love
Could that I know your kisses forever
The depth of your lips passions burning wild
My death my love is all which could sever
As I held your heart tender like a child
Please do not cry for me or lose control
You gave my life beauty and timeless heart
With my last breath, my tears will stain my soul
Our love I leave as testament sweetheart
On death's ship adrift my heart will depart
To sail away on an ocean of tears
I know not where it goes, I have no chart
Though the words on its sail cover our years
They read, My love, is yours to always hold
As we were faithful lovers to behold
Goodbye, my love... Until we meet again

I step into my fourth decade
with quiet thoughts for company.
My mother is gone
and though I move through life
shadows brush against me still.
Yet I long to reach the forgotten,
to lift weary hearts,
to lay a quiet hand upon the suffering,
strength to the poor,
and a spark for those who wander in darkness
To whisper that life…
even when cruel
is still worth holding on to.
Youth drifts away with time,
but beauty stays within—
in kindness given without asking,
in love that holds through every season,
in the light we pass from one soul to another.
That light is what lasts
what makes us beautiful, always.
Often when I see people die every hour
I know then am waiting for darkness' power
The end, to eternally end without a trace;
Death a startling occurrence in action so apace
For when he without appointment appears
He never informs even the father he endears-
Does not even report to his creator Satan;
He is an entity within the soul of a man,
Ingrained deep in the human body
So as without him there would be no life beauty:
A man is born with one soul of lives and deaths,
The pure justification of all low natural breaths
Should have definite limit of existence
So often when I see people stripped of subsistence
I hope I can live a little bit longer-
That every day of life I will be waiting ever-
To achieve what I desire before my end
Ere my neck is struck by death to bend.
