Christmas carol on Christmas day!
People are singing, joy outrage!
Christmas shopping at big malls
Girls buy party dress at small stall
Christmas lantern, Christmas lights
Everything is perfect and so right
Christmas wishes, Christmas breaks...
Now you are gone, it so hard to take
In our dining area where memories stay
I look at your empty chair
Missing the times we both love and play
Now looking at my yummy plate
Your favorite chicken pasta is served
I start talking to you
But your presence isn't there
I imagine laughing with you
We make a good conversation about lovelife
Asking what's your favorite Christmas gift
Till we'll sleep at midnight
While TV keeps on talking about Christmas life
There at sofa you are in my arms sleeping
Twisting your hands on my waist
Then I suddenly see tears on my cheeks
Everything is a fantasy
Because you are gone for good
For you are taken away by fate
But how will I spend my Christmas day?
Without you on my side, it's a nonsense...
How many Christmas do I have to spend all alone?
Everyone is happy but I don't quite belong
She is not much outspoken this one
Ever quite mulling over what knows God
Her effect is she has one always second guessing
Never quite sure if you have the right desired vibe
If you don’t watch her body language she is easily cross
Her nature is intriguing while unsettling in equal measure
I pride myself on my perceptional capabilities yet me desire more
What makes her passionate for you can hardly fault her as uncaring
What makes her angry and what is it she hiding behind that ulterior look
Our people have a saying where the waters are calm the pool runs deep
I am unravelling her turning stones for there’s so much she holds from others
Should it be that I let her be unperturbed she will never leave her holed cocoon
She is a beautiful butterfly I pray not a moth drawn to the fiery light of a lantern
Only to suffer a fiery annihilation at the hands of the naked lantern flame so besought
What of me do I have the patience or do I snap and walk away hoping she’d but open up
Am I head over heels in love or falling over a cliff I am too a tad mysterious dear not easily read
Let me send you the North wind and harken to my voice you South wind go hastily to my lover say
Why all the trials beloved do’ open the doors that I might gain entry let the peoples rejoice in our love
So as it was the hills of Bashan and Sion sang with merry when my lover did accept me into her hands Bebi Carol Eeh Le mi Rimi leo me luv you.. you remind me of Cleopatra and his Ceasor love unceasing

Frantic ocean crashes through glowing gold,
A lighthouse hangs where harvest darkness falls;
Autumn rising tides break in, harshly cold.
It clutches the coast, vexing to be told,
While amber arcs scale as a blazing wall;
Frantic ocean crashes through glowing gold.
The lantern shakes, its little flame grown bold,
As blackened clouds descend beyond the squall;
Autumn rising tides rush in, harshly cold.
Midnight mist is sumptuous to behold,
And shattered shells sit speckled by the fall;
Frantic ocean crashes through glowing gold.
Yet thru tempest, the lamp is still in hold,
A shimmering star shines against the pall;
Autumn rising tides rush in, harshly cold.
No storm retains the flame from growing old;
No sea can silence every distant call;
Frantic ocean crashes through glowing gold,
Autumn rising tides rush in, harshly cold.

So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)
-“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 (NIV)
- Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer
Romans 12: 12 ( NIV )
-The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”
Exodus 14: 13 ( NIV )
“Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.”
- Mark Twain-
~Author's Notes:
The "Lanturne" is a Japanese form or style shaped like a paper lantern.
I am a small lantern
in a vast, breathing dark~
a pulse of light
that remembers itself
only when the night
leans close enough
to ask.
I feel the world
in flickers~
the hush of grass bending,
the cool brush of dusk
against my wings,
the way shadows soften
when I rise.
My glow is not constant.
It is a pulse,
a question,
a brief confession
to the sky.
I shine
because something inside me
refuses to stay hidden.
I drift between branches,
a wandering ember,
watching humans
mistake me for magic
when really
I am only trying
to be seen.
The night carries me~
a cradle of crickets,
a chorus of quiet things
that know how to listen.
In their company,
my small light
feels enough.
And when I land
on a child’s open hand,
I feel wonder
rise like warm air~
a soft recognition
that even the smallest spark
can change the shape
of darkness.
I glow
because it is my nature.
I glow
because the world
is gentler
when something shines.
I glow
because for one brief moment
I can show you
how even a tiny life
can light its own way.
at this blessed time of the year
I am in quiet introspection
seeking the ethereal ~ I meditate
wanting to set sail to divine balance
as a lantern gliding over the sea
delicate, airy and light
I am filmy and gossamer
my aura misty mauve
life is a delicate fragile seed
full of promise, hope and love
and my life is unfurling
for my floating ethereal lantern
holds a flickering light
overflowing with violet hues
I feel the ebb and flow pulling
and whispers of sweetness swirl
my meditation is lit by my soul
with thoughts painted exquisite
in magic beneath a veiled sun
I drift my lantern like a gauzy curtain
a picture of serenity over the sea
I am spiritual, ethereal, and sublime
infinite are my shades
dusty mauve brushstrokes whirl
A table filled with gross sample trays.
Surrounded by a poisonous craze.
Getting tired like a spider with claws.
Falling apart like howling and applause.
My emotions are one of those things.
Like underwater bee stings.
That shouldn’t exist in such an odd way.
It takes more than a siren to keep it at bay.
So sirens call out another time.
Then fall apart as if covered in slime.
My emotions are like a slingshot.
Or like rain in a bucket if it started turning hot.
The feelings captured by unknown laughter.
We have to decide after.
Leave the horror in the sink.
Or eat an ice rink.
In the end, I decided to poison my last bit of luck.
Tattered emotions like a hockey puck.
Innocuous craze.
And endless glaze.
My emotions could fall over like a jack-o-lantern.
Which feels unseasonable and worn.
My emotions are like a fly on a bone.
And this fly is like a sprinkle on an ice cream cone.
And a sprinkle could also be-
A penny on fire in a money tree.
Everlasting similar to-
A parasitic worm who lives life true.
Emotions are more than layers of spines.
We all have a crust that really shines.
Don’t try to peel the crust though-
Or something worse than tendons will start to show.
Emotions show up like that.
Rain bucket water, and boney baseball caps.
Tears and laughter an emotional lift;
Raw honesty heart on the page
like True North poetry is a gift;
When the peace holding you goes adrift
read each verse and smell the sage,
tears and laugher an emotional lift;
Each line composed slowly or swift
you escape from reality’s cage,
like True North poetry is a gift;
A live wire clenched in your fist
finally detonating all the rage,
tears and laughter an emotional lift;
Penning a contagious paradigm shift
finding the others who slowly engage,
like True North poetry is a gift;
With each line a lantern is lit
each phrase taking center stage;
Tears and laughter an emotional lift,
like True North poetry is a gift.
Absolute truth, both mystery… and paradox.
“You make me wonder if you exist or not?”
The Greeks glimpsed you in circles and squares,
The medievals revered you in scriptures and prayers,
The moderns doubted you in so many facts and proofs.
Absolute truth
your a hidden treasure in the dark.
I’ve been searching for you with a lantern and a map.
Absolute truth, a misty mountain peak,
We’ve been climbing towards you
with a rope and a pick.
Absolute truth, a real puzzler
and a wonder.
We’ve been solving you with a clue and a key.
The enlighteners searched for you
in nature and reason
The romantics sang about you
in passion and vision
Whereas existentialists certainly questioned you
in freedom and action.
Absolute truth: are you actually still alive and relevant today?
You’ve been inspiring us with
your beauty and your grace.
Absolute truth, you are most diverse and multifaceted.
You’ve been expressing yourself
in every culture and every race.
Absolute truth, you are so complex and yet, paradoxical.
You’ve been challenging me
to question and embrace.
The analytics dissected you in symbols and many signs.
Whereas continentals explored you
in history and culture.
Yes, those postmoderns deconstructed you
in relativity and plurality.
Absolute truth, you invite us to seek
doubt, affirm, and critique.
You show us the value of
curiosity and humility.
Absolute truth: you challenge us to
dialogue, dignity, listen, respect, and appreciate.
You teach us of the importance of
diversity and empathy.
Absolute truth, you call us
to transcend, transform, love, and willingly serve.
You lead us to the ultimate goal of harmony and peace.
The scientists explain you in matter and energy,
The believers proclaim you in faith and grace,
The artists create you in beauty and meaning.
But the needle spins wildly, a chilling impart…
"Absolute Truth is a compass with a broken heart."
Kindness and Love
by Kevin Davis, 2024
Seek to learn what makes you whole,
The kindness and love that live in your soul.
A whisper gentle, from heavens above,
Guiding your steps with the light of love.
It’s found in a hand that reaches in need,
In the quiet grace of a selfless deed.
It shines in the words that comfort and care,
In prayers unspoken, in moments we share.
Kindness, the bridge that binds us all,
Love, the answer both mighty and small.
Together we weave a tapestry bright,
A lantern to lead through the darkest night.
So, open your heart, let your spirit be free,
Spread kindness and love like waves on the sea.
For in giving, life’s true meaning is shown—
Through kindness and love, our strength is grown.
Keep your face lifted, your smile aglow,
Embrace those around you, let warmth overflow.
Turn from the voices that darken with spite,
They offer no comfort, no joy, no light.
For all hearts seek a way to be whole,
And kindness and love are food for the soul.
So, hold to your values, let goodness remain,
The whisper of heaven will echo again.
