March 12 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Joshua 9-11
Key Verse – Joshua 9:9 And they said unto him, From a very far country thy servants are come because of the name of the LORD thy God: for we have heard the fame of him, and all that he did in Egypt.

Praise be to God for revealing to us His name that speaks of His fame and:
Greatness we must proclaim
Glory we should praise
Goodness we can possess
Generosity we ought to practice
Governance we have to pursue

hearkens unto our voice of:
Desperation, and He delivers us from afflictions
Distress, as He defeats our anxieties
Desolation while He directs us by His assurance
Dependence, for He defends us against adversaries
Devotion, then He discomfits our arrogance
Deuteronomy 11:15 Praise be to the Saviour for
helping us to leave nothing undone in our work despite:
Failure as He changes us with His might
Frustration as He cares for us by His mercy
Fear as He covers us around His marvellousness
Futility as He converts us through His miracles

Pride, Joy, unconditional love, football, hockey, baseball games, these are a few things that went through my head, when I realized I was having a son.
Watching my tummy grow, feeling you do flips, kicking me endlessly in my ribs, my goodness, I guess I shouldn't have eaten that spicy food after all but mom has to eat.
Hearing your heartbeat the first time brought tears to my eyes, knowing you were healthy, was all I needed to know. Finally on July 28th of 98, I got to meet you, my newborn son. Surprised by your big blue eyes, you were a beautiful sight. I had to catch my breath, when I found out your birth weight, all ten pounds, nine ounces and 22,inches long, My God what did I eat?
The first one to hold you was your proud dad, he had love in his eyes, his life in his arms, He helped give you your very first bath. An instant connection he felt, forever it will last.
My bond between a mother and son is like nothing else, my favorite time was when I was feeding you, with you feeding off my breast. My precious son Joshua, a young manyou are becoming, forever you have my heart.
A SOUL IS DIVINE
Poems about a soul, got me to thinking … perhaps we identify what it is we are discussing.
A soul is really something very very special my friends, but exactly…
What is a soul?
When did the soul come into existence?
Is it immortal? …. Is it immaterial and invisible?

According to Gen.2: 7 “Man became a. living soul”
God did not make a body and put a soul into it. Like putting a body
into an envelop of dust.
God formed man’s body from the dust, then by breathing divine breath
into it, God made the body of dust live.
The dust did not include a soul, the dust became a soul, a living breathing creature!
Clarifying scripture,KJ version, Joshua 11:11 - And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them:there was not any left to breath.:
God presents a clear picture of a soul. He’s answering opening questions.
Is soul Immortal? No! When stopped breathing, soul was destroyed
Is soul immaterial and invisible? No! Had to be visible to smote it with
edge of the sword.
Hope you agree it doesn’t take a genius to recognize the concept of a
immaterial immortal soul—distinct from the body is not supported by God’s word, and he cannot lie.
So I’d like to leave you my friends, with two questions. Why are pagan lies more popular around the world than the truth regarding the soul?
Why have worlds religions refused to show and teach God’s truth’s

Confidence and Compassion in God’s Word

Joshua then received assurance

Truly, I ask for Your help so compassionately just
To overcome attacking carnal lust.
Thank You for hearkening unto my voice of supplication
That expresses my dependence on Your action
Truly, I lean on Your goodness-perfection
To go toward right direction.
Thank You for hearkening unto my voice of repentance
That shows my grief devoid of rebellious resistance
Truly, I need Your ready assistance
To aspire for eternal importance.

The horror has continued unabated, the killing of innocent mortals in our clime, and the attendant reprisals that follow has refused to stop. The scary and slippery road we took to get here I do not understand. I never remember when we embarked on this journey until we got to where we are now. Who took us through this path, this path of damnation? No one is taking responsibility.
Known gunmen on uniform are killing extrajudicially. They torture without any recourse for reason, no recourse for discourse. Yea, uniform men kill those they are meant to protect with reckless abandon. Now the masses are on rampage. Unknown gunmen have taken over the scene to avenge the death of their loved ones. Now more innocent people are victimized. The question still remains, who is going to bell the cat?
The little children are crying, children whose parents were killed by known and unknown gunmen are crying. Those whose parents were killed by uniform men extrajudicially are crying, and those whose theirs were killed on the reprisals are crying louder. Now the little children are orphaned, no father to play with, no father to pay their school fees. They are crying because they have no one to call Dad. The children have been made vulnerable. What about the women rendered widows overnight? Women and children are the victims.
I'm beginning to feel guilty, guilty of the crime I did not commit. Maybe I should have stopped the killings or at least do something to save the children from losing their parents. Where is our conscience? Where is our morals? Where is our compassion? What about our faith, or have we lost trust in God?
