My ass used to wiggle but now it just jiggles.
My breasts look down at the floor.
Gravity and old age have taken over.
I'm not a "pretty young thing" anymore.
When I look in the mirror I wonder
Who in the hell is that person I see.
With grey hair and wrinkles and hair on my chin,
That person just couldn't be me.
I used to shave my lovely, long legs
Before I headed to bed.
That really is no longer a concern,
I shave my mustache instead.
My legs now resemble a road map
With lines running here and there.
If I could go back in time to my teens
I'd join a gym.... I swear.
Where on earth did my youth go?
I turned around and lost it somehow.
It's like aliens took away my body
And look what they left for me now.
I really don't mean to grumble,
I really don't mean to moan.
I just want to buy a new body
Like the one that I used to own.
I guess I will have to just jiggle.
It's what my ass will now do.
But I'd love to be able to turn back the clock
To when my figure was perfect... wouldn't you?
I am going to sea in a blueberry boat
That danced in the wind by the lee she did float
With vanilla sails and strawberry jib to bend her
Her chocolate chine hull held true on this double-ender
From starboard to port in a raspberry ocean
Her freeboard it romped up and down with commotion
The peppermint tiller was sticky to hold
My gimbals in irons I chose to be bold!
For spring tides it heeled her from stem to stern
While her yaw rode frosted waves of pineapple churns
She heaved and bellowed singing "Alive-Alive-O!"
As her rudder was a fishtail from a mermaid below
Over and under the jawbreaker swells
Listing like an upside-down candy apple she fell
To the bonbon trough she stumbled and waned
She crashed like a sugared angel melting in the rain
But I was the captain with orders to spew
I cried of marshmallows and graham crackers too
I could not give up and bend like a mushy banana
My heart was determined to sail the 'Susquahanna'
Alas she sunk to the deep down under
My pocket was her aftermath of all left asunder
While I swallowed candy with joyful jiggles
She melted away between nibbles and giggles!

Welcome to my Random World

This is a new year, remember? I’m unshakeable,
I want to live harder but somehow sleep more.
I want to be successful and reinforce my self-image.
I’d like to rely less on my sharp edges and accentuate my softness.
I don’t want to dwell on America’s chaos - the crazy to crazier pipeline.
But, oh, geez, it must be Monday..
Trump accused Ukraine of starting the war, but my alarm was going off and I missed it.
Trump threatened US allies for opposing his takeover of Greenland, while I brushed my teeth.
He said, “the US shouldn't have 2026 midterm elections,” while I was in the shower.
He said since he didn’t win a Nobel Prize, he wouldn’t prioritize peace, while I had croissants.
He swore ‘reckoning and retribution’ after ICE agents shot a woman, while I was on the metro.
After an unplanned CAT scan, Trump said he was ‘sharper than ever’- while I was walking to school.
He called Democrats a ‘criminal organization’, for pointing to his Epstein ties; but I was having coffee.
He said the Reiners were murdered because they didn’t like him, but I was in anatomy class.
Trump claimed the U.S. would "run" Venezuela, while I was in an auditorium lecture.
Trump cited his Trump Golf Club wins as proof of his health, while I was in analyses-lab
He accused his own bureau of "rigging" job data to undermine him, while I was in practical-lab.
Trump linked Tylenol use to autism and revived false vaccine-autism ties - while I had pizza.
In a singular moment of clarity, Trump told his critics to "rot in hell," I missed it, I was studying.
He labeled reports of rising costs, and job losses a “Democratic hoax," but I was still studying.
A Ford employee shouted an Epstein question, Trump replied “ you” and flipped him off.
The employee was fired, of course, a citizen can’t go ruffling Trump like that, with free speech - I missed it, I was back on the metro.
I don’t miss constant exposure to the Trump circus - he’s just wearing you people down.
After three more dumpster-fire years of Trump - what’ll be left over there?
Good luck America, I love you.

You're obscured by maze hedges, I'm approaching
Creeping around greenery's edges, encroaching

You'll know when adventure's uncovered, I'm here
Meet where destiny weds us, fate encroaching

Absorb how I've worked for you, take it on board
Finally, place for tender touch encroaching

No shears were used, I went the long way to find
Ideal man, no sad pretender encroaching

Exposed to your will, what's your instant gut choice?
Tenacity steel together encroaching

Hand held up to block the sun, or is it me?
Heel turn scrunch on path, terror encroaching

Baby brother, your naughty smile entices
A chuckle ringing through the night,
While those eyes blue wink like stars
That I'm pretty sure , we are alike...
If Aunt Nora pinches those rosy cheeks
Yes, I'd whack her leg, she'll never know-
For now, you're saying, let's peek-a- boo
As moon face jiggles up and down,
Till Mama yelps, 'No, our babe might toot gas!'
And peachy feet, they would outgrow mine,
Then we’ll ride on airy coastlines
Sharing guy secrets and watching the girls--
Maybe, hug one or two in Dad's bike
That's what your laughter implies...
O you giggle, mouth without teeth yet;
Not to worry, I am sneaking yummy jello...
Eat that quick! It's all over your bald head
We'll make it look like soap bubbles--
As the hero, I'll tell our parents, the milk
Flushed through the crib...You agree, snickering,
Naughty brother, we have more pranks to go!

Newborns don’t smile, unless it’s from gas.
They haven’t quite figured things out;
But one day when just the right time comes to pass,
They grasp what their world is about.
Those faces all grinning and cooing and such
Are people delighted they’re here.
Their rattles and jiggles and warm hugging touch
Make that fact undeniably clear.
So the babies reward us – they give us a smile
And watch as we melt and we glow.
That’s a sure way to know we’ll be here for a while,
For we might miss a grin if we go.
Those bundles of joy seem to rapidly learn
And they’re really amazingly clever
For they know our devotion they’re certain to earn
Just by flashing the greatest smile ever!
Shadows amid the waves
bird-eye targets,
besties gather for
a fine dining experience;
aqua splits to pierce
of bill.
Fueling up the old pouch,
a winging pelican riding sea breeze
to sustenance;
all hook-billed and needing no bait.
Just a hop, skip-skim
across to side-dish;
let’s have a herring and mullet casserole!
Throat-sack wiggles, jiggles,
down the hatch,
then it’s back to the nest for
cocktails and a snooze.
Gregarious, the lot of us,
quite a personable group;
flashey-fish’in, eight-foot
wingspan, spots another appetizer;
bank left, wings fold in
a dive-bomb spin...dessert!
We’re aerial acrobats of the coasts;
hop a ship and we’ll perform
for you; no charge.
I’m sick. I’ve got the ick.
this wasn’t my idea.
My Grandmère had some little orphans over - a couple had coughs.
They were cute and vulnerable - they seemed to have subdued fun.
I caught it - the baby flu.
I thought I could fight it off but it got the upper hand.
Grandmère called a doctor and he was here in twenty minutes.
He asked to see my chest. “If you won’t laugh,” I granted.
I got the COVID rapid antigen test, No.
The rapid influenza diagnostic test, No.
A Rapid RSV antigen test, No.
“You’ve got what everyone else has,” the doctor said.
“Or you have something else.” He added.
‘I could be a doctor,’ I thought.
“Do you want to take a minute to talk to an AI?” I asked.
He gave me some steroids, so my fastball will get better.
Between coughing fits, I suggested a medically induced coma.
Anyway, it’s official - I’m sick, something nasty but nothing in particular.
He gave me Hycet (cough syrup) a yellow, cherry flavored opioid.
Five minutes after I took a pinky-finger dose I stopped coughing.
Something, somewhere deep inside suggested I cough.
‘Nahh,’ I thought, not now.
Gotta go, I’m very sleepy.

Can pine cones actually predict how harsh winter will be?
If a harsh winter is on the way, pine trees create more pine cones.Thinking if squirrels & birds share their opinion on the coming season, they will collect more pine seeds & stock up ahead of time
Atop a decorative table a basket of pinecones sit festive and clean
No resin to speak of no brittle edge left, from the forest of dreams
A little girl with a tub full of glue stickied and sparkled until two
Til' a pinecone flew out of the pile and yelled, "Tell me, what is new! "
They talked for a while then, she hopped into bed;
Santa arrives with a jolly old bounce, leaving a doll with a flounce
Down in the valley the lumberjacks cut, but up in the Country their sought
Thank God for the pinecones that talk and for those that do not
Its gonna be a long cold winter so "wear your winter mitts"
says the pinecone to a Jolly Santa, who jiggles and jangles
then laughs with a tickling fit...
Atop a decoartive table the pinecones arranged all with shine,
ready for a Christmas of love, that arrives just on time.
Dino walks on the lino with a cat for a hat
A collar for colour and leash for pastiche
With a tale in his tail as he jiggles and wiggles
The flag half white with delight and bright as the light
Green shadows for meadows and jolly as jelly
The grand creature roars extra on demand as a feature
‘I am the Lord in the fort and mojo of play dough
Patrician magician and seal your appeal
Applause from my paws will guard in the land of the bard’
Dino looks like a rhino or bear in despair
A clown with a crown or ovoid on steroids
Mussel with tussles or dragon that fell of the waggon
‘When I’m older and bolder my fire won’t tire
Blow fumes in my plumes and breathe off at ease
Enlarge small into tall protect Daddy from baddies’
‘The rhyme is past bedtime one last lullaby sweetie pie
Happy dreams no monster screams rest snug little slug’
‘Love you Daddy Paddy let’s have dinosaur scales for breakfast in Wales’
