Premium Member A Tango On the Lake

A Tango on the Lake
When Hooded Grebe are wooing a mate
Magic’s made in tangoes on the lake
Lovebirds perform synchronised in tune
Bewitched beneath a bedazzling moon.

It’s a wonderful courtship display
Where intricate movements come to play
They rise above swaying cheek to cheek
Afore spinning round in ecstasy.

Stretching their necks as they pirouette
Head wagging when dancing breast to breast
In harmonious amorous moves
That show they’re eager and in the groove.

A theatrical exhibition
Igniting the flame of their mission
Tango danced in ardent fettle
Worthy of winning a gold medal.

It’s inspiring what Hooded Grebe do
In a dance of devotion for two
Lovebirds mysterious alchemy
Procuring tango naturally.

Premium Member Silent Love Notes

Within soil's silent phrases
love would love to find flesh
hearing what Earth repeated
timelessly amused again
with pregnant pauses

You know how touching feels
yet can't articulate sacred Mother's mantra
resonating octaves
of radiantly colored energy
empowering pitch
scale
shape

Sighted sounds
resounding sacred calculations,
masculine 1-sums
sniffing feminist 0-souls
with erect respect

Sacred views
unvoiced full spectral choice
profound
elegant
exquisite
intimately intricate
imaginations

Wise as ancient integrity
absorbs what hypocrisy divides
from Earth's well-timed warming powers
to inhale Sun's silent,
yet full sighted, light
rediscovering sounds
for soulful silenced
power

In between
silent phases
phrases
of Earth's moon
and tidal seas
and seasons
passion needs to feel us
deeply listening

Widely learning
what and why and when
Earth repeats Her fractal
timeless fractures
fusing sensory beats

Repeating
musing wisdom circles,
dancing spirals
fusing echoing silence
musing one timeless rest
not not noted
pregnantly again.

Premium Member God Is Love

Love is God, and God is love; inseparable,
they are both interchangeable and eternal.
And regardless of how we define them, they're an
intricate part of the human experience.

Although intangible and ethereal, they
both influence every aspect of human life.
And conjoining as one in our subconscious minds,
they allow us to become better than ourselves.

Love offers us unconditional acceptance,
and God's mercy is the epitome of love.
We want to believe we're unique beings with souls,
one love, one heart, and one truth; this is what we crave.

An ethereal emotion, love, surges up
from our hearts and splashes against reality.
God's message has always been to treat our neighbors
as ourselves with love and compassion, not with hate.

Premium Member Watching Nature Create

The "thread" of a spider’s web
Formed the shape of a "heart"
Hanging delicately in the sunlight
In "silence", watched the spinning of time
Creating a masterpiece I can’t define
I sit "breathless", not to blow it apart
Watching "birds" diving inches from it
Landing on the soft "green" grass
Choosing to disturb the dew instead
Flying away with dampened feet
Not a strand of the "hair" on my head,
Is like the strands holding it together
Leaving me with "fathomless" thoughts
As to when it first started in the past
These "intricate" "beautiful" creations,
That hang on earth in different ways
Hidden by our choices in the "dark"
       Remaining to be seen

Premium Member Mother Nature's September Tapestry

September brings cheers, Mother Nature’s woven tapestry of earth tone colours and first day of school of learning new things. By_Poet

Warm, cornflower blue September skies,
Chase away end of summer
Escorting in the beginning of
Unruffled, cool, wet, autumn
Shortening the days.

Days of exhausting work
From dusk until dawn
Bring a successful abundant harvest
As summer closes.

Touch of living gaze and jump into
An intricate maze of crescendo color,
Flickering in a tangled blaze
Of whispering filigreed leaves.
Mother Nature's natural unspoiled
Watercolor weft tapestry.

The air creeps along
Filled with tickled laughter
Bring shedding leaves down
Onto the ground cover.

Rainy, and sunny filled days
Raise a gentle favouring breeze
Journey under gray and orange skies.

Nature's essence,
Of harmony and rhythm
A soul of perfection beneath
Shadowed shade and sigh
The flow of rapture proceeds in joy.

Children go back to school
On the big yellow bus
Driving the bus driver crazy.

The Apple of My Eye

Smooth, effervescent glowing skin
Free of blemish and blighting toxin
Undulating curves of glossy satin
Red cloak shrouds comely Saracen

At the core a being of fibrous substance
From stem to sternum burgeoning affluence
Delicately woven fabric with scintillating elegance
At close quarters emanating a sweet fragrance.

A free-flowing stem signaled detachment
A stalky divide prevented rapprochement
Intricate, inner designs forestalled advancement
Coarse, deepening chasm threatened determent.

Forthwith, I loves tender began to preen
Steadily peeling through the stealthy sheen
Cutting to heart's core, affections to glean
Loves' seed from ensconcing barriers did ween.

Dear Poetry

Dear Poetry, you are the
celestial architecture of my
enduring solace,
A monumental sanctuary
constructed from the
fragments of the fleeting years,
An otherworldly, linguistic
medicine navigating through
existential chaos,
Distilling the turbulence of
human emotion intro
immortalized, crystalline tears.

When the tempestuous
currents of time threatened to
submerge my fragile
consciousness,
Your intricate, multisyllabic
tapestries became my
impenetrable, luminous shield;
You offered an exquisite,
lexiconic refuge from the
mundane world's relentless
harshness,
Where the hidden,
subterranean landscapes of the
human heart were beautifully
revealed.

Through the shifting epochs of
my youth and the sobering
dawn of maturity,
You remained the unchanging
metaphysical compass guiding
my wandering soul;
A profound, metaphorical mirror
reflecting my deepest anxieties
and secret purity,
Synthesizing the broken,
disparate elements of my
identity to make me entirely
whole.

You are the evocative alchemy
that transmutes ordinary sorrow
into golden wisdom,
An expansive, linguistic universe
where syllables dance in
breathtaking symmetry;
Within the majestic borders of
your infinite, rhythmically
pulsing kingdom,
Every quiet heartbeat is granted
a magnificent, timeless dignity.

You did not merely document
the passage of my earthly
journey,
You illuminated the profound,
invisible geometry of my
internal evolution;
An unyielding, artistic
companion through the
labyrinth of life's unending
tourney,
Providing an elegant,
philosophical resolution to
every emotional revolution.

So I offer this grand,
polysyllabic homage to your
everlasting, artistic grace,
For you have been the vital
oxygen fueling the fires of my
creative survival;
An eternal, transcendent
monument that neither time nor
decay can ever erase,
The ultimate, sacred
architecture of the human
spirit's triumphant revival.

Jack Frost etches glass with spirals of snow and ice,
A feathery pattern of crystalline cravings
Chiseled long into the night, with but a single
Kiss of winter’s icy cold breath to sustain him.

Frozen abstract swirls of intricate art, soon rise
Resplendent, bathed within dawn’s early morning light.
Opaque, with a mother-of-pearl sheen that glows, as
Shafts of sunlight melt and mold its shape into a
Translucent, shimmering, ever changing sculpture.

Premium Member To which image should we cling

Line of inquiry:
“We have been here a thousand times before
Memory erased, each time we begin anew
Of hands held tenderly, we’ve lost the score
Each embrace virgin like fresh morning dew

To which image, oh dear soul, should we cling
For each heart was at some point of time dear
As we flow through life with zest, zeal and zing
In all forms we see God’s presence appear”

In timeless live network
of intricate unassailable design,
the latticed mind stratifies layer on layer,
the incarnated spiritual strata
of innate awareness align
with perceptive sagacious patterns.

Many existential elements gain
transcendent access to the sanctum
of the secret psychic recess
at the fading fringes of joy and pain,
as the fluid sense merges
with the sea of absolute acuity.

A reflective explorer ensnared,
I search for the snippets of life,
stuck to slices of eternity forgotten.
With supreme strength of divinity,
I get liberated from the labyrinth
of the corporeal chasm.

I’m immutable hymn of the sanctified soul,
echo in the arena of awareness
the devout mantra intoned
in the temple of heart,
resonates with sensual symphony
of the sacred spirit.

I’m the shared essence
of the connected oneness,
and surpassing self-seeking perimeter,
I perceive the inimitable image of the creator,
making my awakened soul feel I’m He,
to whom I should cling.

Mirrors Defined

The reflection of what you see
To me, it deflects the purities that my spectral lenses catch
Matching with every insecurity of
Impurities overflowing as water through a gutter
Cluttering me from seeing my self-worth
Birthed from times of weakness down the road most of us have treaded
Yet,
a worn path others have made it down.
The thing about a mirror
Is it’s easy to break
It’s the shattered pieces we’re afraid to pick up
Those individual shards made to make up what’s left of your reflection
Your identity
The sharp fractures of what’s left from the whole cheval
Though it now reflects a peculiar perspective.
The intricate things that were once overlooked.
Crafted and handpicked by your own hands and not of that of another constructor.
Cuts and nicks
Pains and pricks will cut deep as you assemble your speculum
A Curriculum self taught to teach you your worth
Birthed from pain to be made whole.
