Mrs Songstress interview French horn and Trumpet rehearsal

When I first heard the demo
I paid more attention to what the background was
saying.
I knew If I were gonna have ah decent career in sound, song and Music
I would need to sing the song to impress those new to me and this sound.
When"When I 40 I want the sound to be same as when
I'm 22.
At 2;33 seconds into the demo I heard
'the background and it sound like they were
saying
" I sorta Blah
but please love me
Baby please love me"
Cause Iam sorta Blah!
So please love me
I need you to
love me!"
I told my manager I wasn't gonna sing nothing like that.
ZHe told me to listen to the next lines maybe it would change my mind";
thendo you see me like I see you
do you need me like I need you
Are you gonna be someone
for me
( I sorta Blah__ but please be
someone for me!)
I said I'd do it but I was reluctant.
He wanted a full orchestra and full vocal
some ooh's and ah's.
And I do do;
Cause I love yous.
I was un inspired so he found out
the type of men I liked( she said)
the night we were gonna start rehearsal these guys came in shiny clothes
and a boombox. when the pants hit the floor
I was flabbergasted and befuddled.
Four woman and the damn fool in here. after that show, This damn fool asked me to marry him.
We had a problem Honey!
Two days later We began recording and it showed up in the song.
It became one of me biggest records.

“ It's gonna fall….Hammer, you know, Hammer To Fall
While you're waiting for the Hammer To Fall
Give it to me one more time “ By Brian May of QUEEN

I listened to love for years still feeling the pain.
Pulling back the cover Crying out in vain.
Silenced, I feel the pressure on my heart.
The truth belongs to yesterday, I didn’t feel it start.

Breathing isn’t easy, I need to soar through the sky,
Bitter nights with burning heat I ask the reason why.
Ghostly images, crumbing palaces, flags fly, sun returns.
The memories of yesterday but the memory burns.

Reached rock bottom is it a dream, need to be free.
Is this man down here, the drunk in jail really me.
Need to get away.
To reach my yesterday.

Slipped Away

Time slipped through my fingers

along with his worn out sweatshirt.

Hundred sunsets followed

the celebrations of my despair .

But not tonight Tonight I am ignorant

to all that is sensible.

Not another second will be spared .

Tonight I seek him I search

I 'll search and call his name

a plane -ride away and thousand grains.

Tonight I sip french champagne

from the spume of his stars

Just like way back on those crescent eves

When our shadows danced and our fingers entwined

When all I am was his When all He is was mine.

“A brownie or broonie (Scots), also known as a brùnaidh or gruagach (Scottish Gaelic), is a household spirit or hobgoblin from Scottish folklore that is said to come out at night while the owners of the house are asleep and perform various chores and farming tasks.” ~ Wikipedia

“We look at spirit not at form
Our touch is gentle, kind and warm
We but reflect God’s love and light
‘Tis the path to which we conform”

So, sing the lively Brownies
in the mists of Scottish Lorne,
and to the mists of other townies,
traveling in wee hours of the morn,

lightening good people’s burdens
with unselfish, friendly deeds
in their kitchens and their gardens,
thinking of their neighbor’s needs.

Though in life, we get so very tired,
by wee Brownies, can we be inspired?

A Beautiful Truth

We all seek our parted or living mothers
when another night descends on our lives...
as Paul did in his lonely youth
and discover a beautiful truth!

Paul's mother, Mary, was his muse of earth and beyond
who inspired him to write a memorable song conveying
wisdom while she spoke very wise words!
When all around him there was darkness:
he sought a light and a laughter that could be very amusing...
even today we sing his lyrics and feel that unbreakable bond!

While listening to " Let It Be, " great emotion overtakes me, remembering
my own mother who had a bold but vibrant personality:
she was kind, stretching out her arms and brightening
up my gloomy night with her sweet smile that imparted immense serenity!

I muse alone ~
           ceaselessly
    savoring the aquatic sage
amidst swells of silence
seeping through sighs of seas
      a solitary sanctum

    the eyes of the ocean
can trace without touch,
     still embrace the
embedded emotions
    of an emerald ambience

    my heart ~ like glass-weed,
    pressed with poignant lies,
reflects plankton light
       in the obsidian abyss,
while suppressed thoughts fight
 in finned finesse,
     fragments of flawed flow
breaking the deep dark blues ~
a fierce force against the frozen
fathomless ~ fault-lines
of penned peace
that the surfers of life ~
        mindlessly misinterpret…

breathe me as I break free
              the inked instinct ~
stained with familiar fears,
           a coherent coalescence
    of surviving the storm
as I am an ineffable incognito
    circling ... gliding ... dreaming
bathed in
          streaks of salted serenity ~

  weaving wave-swept whispers
    through the languid language ~
lacking lucidity
        with letters of love-lines
  zealous zen
spelled from the
           cosmic scent
             of the siren-moon...

  for the wind beneath
 the calm knows
           my story etched
in the soul of liquid
           opalescent
tides of time ~
it's a living portrait of pulse
painted in
          watercolor washes
           of a
          passionate psyche...

Reach out to me, inspire me
make me laught, let me cry
lead me and follow me, stand beside my side
remember the beauty you see is in thine eye

be gentle and kind and generous
for these are the things
from which love is
made and shared

let your intellect be the guardian of your heart
and heart visa versa
always keep and eye on your heart
it knows more than your intellect can fathom

Explore, let curiosity get the better of you,
dream and adventure constantly
but also take rest while you dream
some of our best ideas come as a dream in the day

be inspired and inspirational
be staedfast in faith and hopefull of hope
always remember the lessons of your journey
lest you forget and make them again

strive for your own greatness

Premium Member A WORLD OF WONDERLANDS

It’s only been nine months but Violet, our great-granddaughter
is growing up in a happy home.
Her parents and family will always be there to shower her with love…
to lend a helping hand…
It is our hope that her first memories
will be of a home
she calls her wonderland.

Her parents, family and friends have covered her land
with everything they consider worthwhile…
She will never want for love…a touch, a hug, a kiss…a smile.

Everything we say and do…are meant to make her smile…
to enhance her self-esteem…
to create a cozy and pleasant wonderland
where she will be inspired to wish and hope and dream.

Wow! We’re proud of you! Great job reaching for the sky!
We knew you could do it! We believe in you! Congratulations!…
Way to go! Nice try!

We know with every word of support and encouragement
even if she’s heard these words before…
her courage and resolve will strengthen
and her confidence will soar.

So one day when she’s older her parents will sit back and smile
knowing they had a hand
In providing her the foundation…to build her own wonderland.

As I watch Violet’s Mom, Dad, Grammy and Great-Nana
everyone…gently pick her up…and hold her…
and see the smiles on all their faces
as she lays her head upon their shoulders

It gives me hope…that if we could channel this feeling of love into everyone…
If we all took the time to lend more helping hands…
We would find ourselves living happily
in a world of wonderlands.

Premium Member CIRCLE CONVERSATION QUARRELS

INSPIRED BY CY

New day, the same circle conversation!
I slow speak my felt truths,
You stumble-spin lame accusations
And another valid topic will thrash itself mute.

We should just get a tape recorder.
Instead of arguing, we’ll just play that
And save emotional voices the bother.

You may not know what happens next,
But I know, I have memorized the steps:
Your chin will raise as your fists flex and
You’ll accuse me of thinking I’m perfect;
I’ll give up on your ability to reflect,
Execute stern hushing for my quiet effect
And we’ll live stiff with no sign of upset.

Stormy emotions from this current singe
May taint our bond with their imprint,
But our love violins aren’t in quit’s bin.
Our imperfect love remains heart-hinged.

We know when this new circle conversation ends,
I’ll be a silenced pinch, you’ll do a pouting binge,
Until need finds us easing for embrace again.
