Blackberries in my hot pie topped with ice cream, a bowl makes my mouth beam.
Blackberry wine, is so very divine.
Blackberries covered in cottage cheese, this dish will bring me to my knees.
Blackberries~raspberries~strawberries in a dish, makes me want to make a big wish.
Blackberry ice cream topped with blackberries, is better than with cherries.
Blackberry syrup with blackberries on french toast, is the best from coast to coast.
Guess you have figured it out, I love Blackberries without any doubt.

Note: I do not drink. I needed a rhyme with divine.
I remember it well- the old Broadway
My city celebrated years ago;
So nicely paved and lined with special stores
And curtained windows, seen in rooms above.
Where we would walk and shop with family;
Attend parades and honor holidays
With decorations and fun spots to meet,
Like the old coffee shop or ice cream bar.
The highlight of our city- old Broadway-
When times were simple- city pride was loved.
Fast forward fifty years- my heart is sad.
A vision now of ruins it's become.
What stores are left- now draped with iron gates,
Or since abandoned, left in disrepair.
Apartment windows gape like hollow eyes,
And litter paves the entrances and curbs.
Not good to walk the streets- daytime or night.
Glories to ruins- Broadway has become;
Now blights the memory of simple days-
When the community clutched love and pride.
I remember you happiness
through the early aroma
of grinded coffee beans
wafting gently from
the coffee corner shop
I remember you through
the freshly bread 'scent
from the baker's sour rising yeast.
I remember you through
musicians playing in piazas
through the buzzling sounds
of the city's cobbled alleys and streets
Through the children's laughter
running to ice-cream parlours,
Tourists in front of Cathedrals
Old people chit-chatting on benches
on a mid-springtime breeze .
I remember you happiness
through the eyes of new couples
strolling hand -in -hand by a sandy beach
Through the Sunday Mass and priest on the altar
Through morning picnic'gatherings
of relatives ,our dogs,and families.
I remember you happiness through
yachts birthing at the grand harbour
through aeroplanes landing in foreign lands
through moments of Birthdays and Weddings
A dinner shared with our closest friends.
Today Coffee Shops are empty
Restaurants are closed
Our island is a ghost town
How long this story goes?
Today I hear no airplanes'sounds
The yachts not to be seen
Cathedrals,Churches closed
Yet I pray on my knees.
Today there are no tourists here
All children are inside
This Covid 19 desease
is worst than and Boogey-men
It killed our people
Placed tears within our eyes
Today the only way to see my friends
is virtually on skyoe
My mothet's hug I'm to resist
So She remains alive
Today the world's a scary place
But together we will fight
With faith ,with love,
Determined like our ancestors
We leave this page behind.
Tomorrow there's a rainbow
Till then we have the rain
In rain's a silver -lining
From each loss there are lessons
Lessons we're to gain.
To appreciate our loved ones
Our island and this world
Together we will make it
This evil beast will end.
Here's what I am going and willing to do
Make a pinky promise and swear an oath
unto both me and to you
Then spend the rest of every second of my entire life
Trying my level best to make you laugh
Because if have nothing else or lesser gift I have
to offer this world
Listening to the sound of your laughter
Would mean my life would have at least not
amounted to nothing
And I would then gladly leave or pass away
With a smile beaming from ear to ear upon on my face
As long as I am stuck permanently with the image
Of your smile in your face and laughter in my ears
Making me cry the happiest joyful tears
I have ohh so missed dearly out on sadly for
way too many years since I have been gone
No matter whether those reasons be deemed in future
To have been judged right or in fact wrong
As the future finally looks brighter than the past
at last
By the mere prospect of waiting to see you in
person simply smile and hear your most infectious
laugh
As all my heart and my woes slowly melt away
like ice cream dripping down a cone
On a clear mid - summer's heatwave infused day
Taking a stroll through central park watching the people
I pass bask in the rays of the sun
Happy and confident in the thought I don't have to
tell them or anyone else for that matter
Of the healing and medicinal powers of laughter
can do for and on the mind and the soul
Apart from to say there is nothing quite like it
to fix and fill a hole and make one feel hole again
Since my childhood, I love summer
It wakes up in me a dreamer.
The luring bells of the ice-cream seller,
Made me gaze for him at the street corner
Till noon, across the fields, used to wiggle
Enjoy lunch with granny’s spicy mango pickle
Sidling along the rows of swishing trees
Running after humming dragon- flies
Picking plums tactfully from thorny bushes
Wondering in the widespread lushes
Rolling on the dunes of soft sands
At tranquil brook, collecting shiny shells
Dancing merrily in pre-monsoon rains
Vying with friends for the white balls of hailstones
Sleeping in the midst of the lawn
Enjoying the sweet breezes of Night queen
Listening to the epic stories of mom
Under the canopy of stars that gleam
Eyes running through the maze of stars
Drooping slowly into deep slumbers

Inviting you into my heart was both a blessing and a curse did you not think ?
to tell me in less reckless ways you lost yourself in this fragile dance for two
Inside this tango of passion you dipped then dropped, where was the floor ?
that swallowed me like a Spanish dancer with a Rose between her lips
Idealistic player that you are we fitted right, so what sin did I commit?
Truth be told the only one that I could think of was loving you too much
Ignoring all your calls I tried to make a life without you in it but why oh why ?
tackling all my dance moves you got me like a Flemish wounded poppet
Indian giver that you are you loved then passed it on, so why was she ?
tangerine lipped & coiffed congealed to your chest like a Minerva Goddess
Ice cream words melted from the heat, castanets clapped & where were you ?
tendencies often nothing more than Paso Doble moves for you, so you slid
Inside your wealth like a hoof. A Hexabranchus man, did you not miss?
the little doll you toyed with in Valencia while the festival of fire was going on !

It’s midnight and I’m alone downstairs
I hope she’s sleeping, I’ve said my prayers
Now I’m walking like I’m in a dream
Sneak in the kitchen for some ice cream
DON”T EVEN THINK IT
Back upstairs I hear her snore
So I slowly shut the bedroom door
Be very careful so she doesn’t wake
Sneak back downstairs to get some cake
DON’T EVEN THINK IT
Damn that woman can read my mind
Or I’ve got an alarm tied to my behind
I’m getting so hungry, I could cry
Just a couple of pieces of Pizza pie
DON’T EVEN THINK IT
Damn it woman I’m wasting away
Don’t know if I’ll make it through another day
I’m so weak I’m on my knees
I’ll save myself with some chips and cheese
DON’T EVEN THINK IT
What would happen if I’d get sick and die
Then you’d have to stay home and cry
Now, because I don’t want to see you blue
I’m going to eat those donuts just for you
DON’T EVEN THINK IT
Now a salad bowl would be just the right fit
Ice cream, whipped cream, banana split
Some chocolate, strawberry going to make my day
Then I heard a voice behind me say
DON’T EVEN THINK IT.
In the morning light, they rise and play,
With giggles dancing in the sun's warm ray.
Chasing butterflies, they run so free,
In the world of wonders, just let it be.
Painted skies and clouds of dreams,
Every sound a song, every moment it seams,
Puddles become oceans, sticks turn to swords,
In their vibrant tales, imagination soars.
A simple flower holds secrets untold,
In tiny hands, its beauty unfolds.
Laughter spills like bubbles in the air,
Each smile is a treasure, none can compare.
The taste of ice cream, a splash of delight,
A cozy blanket on a cold starry night.
Friendships woven like threads of gold,
In their innocence, pure joy to behold.
Through their eyes, the world’s a magical place,
Where love and wonder find their embrace.
In their laughter, in their gentle sighs,
We find the essence of happiness, through children's eyes.

If demons had wings they'd find they're way to her heart,
It's a blasphemous affair
She's white linen fabric and I,a pitiable being
Our differences make us beautiful creatures
These are the forbidden thoughts I have of her...
Her father has purchased crutches for the man who is to champion her chambers,
I care less, at this point I died when she grabbed my breath only to give it to me after she exited the room,
Lately my sheets wake up to a fragrance of hope,
A taste perhaps.... It's like she visited tonight
And I tasted her in my dreams...
This is beyond sorcery,complete addiction
She's nicotine and tar, Gin and olives...
The thought of her has me stumbling to the memory of our first date,
As I looked in her eyes and she conversed of her deepest insecurities...
Ice cream dates are great but on this one I left the kiosk with a melted heart.
At this point i can't listen to advise....there's no reasoning with a man feeling love
And when we last touched I licked my fingers
This level of lust is disgusting!
If by chance I could relive my life
I will make more mistakes
will relax and be more sillier
Prasing every second of my life
than what has been so far in this journey of mine
I would have tolerated more,
took more chances and face challenges
Would have travel the world
and finally, yes, spent more time with my family
Maybe eating more ice cream and avoiding unnecessary drama
yes! focusing on real troubles
Then having fewer imaginary ones
If only I could do it again
I will travel lighter and go to more dances
perhaps spending time with nature God's Creation
picking more daisies
You know this life is a mystery
As we tend to grow old,
we have all our mistakes
unfolding in front of our own eyes like a movie
and we are just left with a phrase >
I believe that God didn't create us
to merely achieve name, fame, and power
For I want to believe there is something deeper
Our standard of life will measure our lives
Never of living conditions
We are not here to just entertain ourselves
with social media and doing robotic routines
To scroll up and down like a Robot
feeding our mind junk food,
rotting these marvelous brains the creator gave us.
We literally invented the most powerful tool
on the face of the earth,
to spread hatred on twitter and Instagram
literally building the most advanced computer known to man
and using it only to watch YouTube pranks
So let's change that
and make it our mission to walk the talk
Because there is a difference between a life well achieved
then a life fill with regrets
Remember, it doesn't matter,
the amount of money you stored
for as a matter of fact,
you are not taking it with you on the other side
So live your life to be happy
to have no regrets and finally to serve God your Creator
