Queen Bee
Here's what I am going and willing to do Make a pinky promise and swear an oath unto both me and to you Then spend the rest of every second of my entire life Trying my level best to make you laugh Because if have nothing else or lesser gift I have to offer this world Listening to the sound of your laughter Would mean my life would have at least not amounted to nothing And I would then gladly leave or pass away With a smile beaming from ear to ear upon on my face As long as I am stuck permanently with the image Of your smile in your face and laughter in my ears Making me cry the happiest joyful tears I have ohh so missed dearly out on sadly for way too many years since I have been gone No matter whether those reasons be deemed in future To have been judged right or in fact wrong As the future finally looks brighter than the past at last By the mere prospect of waiting to see you in person simply smile and hear your most infectious laugh As all my heart and my woes slowly melt away like ice cream dripping down a cone On a clear mid - summer's heatwave infused day Taking a stroll through central park watching the people I pass bask in the rays of the sun Happy and confident in the thought I don't have to tell them or anyone else for that matter Of the healing and medicinal powers of laughter can do for and on the mind and the soul Apart from to say there is nothing quite like it to fix and fill a hole and make one feel hole again
