Peace brings equality
It's why they crave the chaos
It makes then feel less empty
It makes them feel validated
Silence asks too many questions
The silence holds the truth
The chaos hides lies
It's why they start wars
As it distracts from accountability
A pretence they've kept up for centuries
Knowing one wrong move will have their facade crumble
The fake smiles
The tight grip of a handshake
Publicly giving condolences
But in private making plans to profit of our pain
The name of this game
Fake activism and performative allyship
The players
White liberals
And the strained smile of the white politician
War over peace
Their secret motto
Disguised as care for the people
What they don't tell you
Is that they really mean they only care about their people
It's just a matter of how you view their actions
It's just a matter of how they verbalise their words
Especially when they make promises
Of a new and improved world
But years later
It's changed for the worst
Humans are inherently selfish
Especially the ones who were spoon fed privilege
The ones who don't face discrimination
The ones who become blind to issues that doesn't affect them
The ones who relax in a pool of power
Privilege funding their ignorance
The irony is their problems were solved by the enslaveds labour
But can't even 'apologise' by fixing the damage they have done
I sat and had a conversation
With god the other day.
I was shocked, I couldn’t believe
The words he had to say.
It started when he knocked on my door
Then entered and sat on a chair,
And he had a staff, white robe and sandals,
That matched his silver hair.
In his right hand he held a smoke,
In his left he held a beer,
And then, when he began to talk,
He sounded so sincere.
He said, “Imagine, just for a moment,
If you were to walk a day in my shoes.
Imagine watching all your creation,
Being destroyed on daily news.”
He continued, “That’s why I drink so much,
I drink ale, draught, cider and stout.
And that’s why I’m getting this ‘I LOVE HUMANS’ tattoo,
I’m getting it blacked out.”
I sat and had a conversation
With god when he entered through my door.
And was shocked to see him pass out drunk,
Collapsing onto the floor.
Bigfoot Emerges After the Fall of Humanity
After the bombs stop falling
After the nuclear winter
After the collapse of civilization
All that remains
Are a few scattered bands
Of humans
Many are reduced
To starvation
Bigfoot who are the descendants
Of the Neanderthals
Who lived on
In the mountain wilderness
Came down
And took pity
On their human cousins.
They soon began
A new, kinder hybrid civilization
Based on the smoldering ruins
In the ancient era
Which was soon forgotten.
Except in the few university towns
That kept some of the knowledge
Of the past alive.
Particularly solar and wind power
Which was soon everywhere
As was a rudimentary internet.
Linking the college towns
The nearby markets
And the remains
Of the old central governments.
New countries slowly emerged
New trading routes
And civilization slowly recovered
It took hundreds of years
Amid the new ice age
That settled down
In most of the world.
Giant blowing winds like slabs of butter.
Meltdown like frozen cubes of ice.
Leaves blowing around as trees go bare.
I plant my garden of words and watch them bloom.
From the beginning of time, people spoke their thoughts.
Where words are spoken, people gather round to listen.
People have always come to listen to the songs of poetry.
Humans have always been fascinated by the power of words.
Never has there been a civilization without poetry of words.
Poetry comes from something deep inside us all, raw emotions.
Words sometimes get bloody like the dying of a red rose.
Oh, but isn't a red rose lovely even with all her thorns?
Why are some quiet, while others throw words to the winds?
Why" for others to read, find pleasure within their soft-pedaled words.
The infinite power of words rings out like heaven to me at dusk.
Like blossoms on a beautiful tree, words fall like ecstasy.
The love of words has always come so easily to me.
Confused, but, not for long as our words turn into poetry.
Words are the silver lining like piano key's, in praise of poetry.
Words to me are like beauty and strength coming together.
As we put our words together into songs of poetry.
Let us fly along with ancient dragons, and dance among the skies.
As PAN comes out to play for us, and we dance the night away.
And mingle with the stars and sing our songs to light the night.
As she breathes her last breath, it is in the form of poetry.
Abandon yourself to the moment, it will become a beautiful memory.

What if I had never been born,
and not seen a smile or frown?
When I was told I had to die,
like the others buried in graves,
I laughed as if death didn't exist,
wasn't life was supposed to be
an endless dance of pleasure:
of wishes, of joys and loves?
Wasn't it too early for me to think...
experiencing fear to foresee my end?
But that sad thought made me aware
how fragile we are: today here,
tomorrow gone as a gust of wind!
Who has felt what I am feeling now?
What if I hadn't felt the warm sun or cool breeze,
looked up and wrote an ode to the One
who created me with a noble purpose to fulfill?
I wouldn't have thought as angels do indeed...
we humans have hearts that can express emotions
through love, passion, desire, joy and sadness,
but they have none of those feelings as we do
and that makes us very unique and special!
What if I hadn't drunk the fresh water...
when I was thirsty after having lost much sweat?
Wouldn't have my bread tasted differently...
without having earned it with labor and patience?
How my joyful mind and heart praised
the One who created me to love, compassionate,
and give to break down the barriers of hatred!
Oh, how many tears my sacrifice did spare!
Yes I live in the past

I do not like the present so I live in the past
A culture that had its troubles but did its best to over come until the last
A time when people knew a child from an adult and a man from a woman
And when animals were not worth more than humans
When right was right and wrong was wrong
When real truth and feelings could be felt in songs
When people went to visit in person and not on the phone
When mom and dad were taken in and not rejected for monies throne
When God was known and sought after
And folks would empty of tears and then be filled with laughter
You can keep your modern fake news
And stuff your leftist politics into the bottom of your shoes
Then pretend that you are tall and that you know it all
But you will really know the truth when the whole world hears Christ's call
So fault me if you want to for living in the past
But modern times for me smell worse than sewer gass.
Mountains grappled with earthquakes,
erupted like volcanoes,
affected by erosion,
but the lofty mountains faced agonies with smile.
Mountains confronted heavy rain,
crusted with snow,
endured the scorching heat,
but the lofty mountains tolerated all the odds.
Mountains have discerned glorious sunrises and sunsets,
dealt with the flood and droughts,
seen many lightnings strikes,
but the lofty mountains maintained persistence.
Even after facing so many hurdles in life,
the mountains still stand straight.
We the humans, have to learn a lot
from these lofty mountains.
For the contest MOUNTAINS by JULIA WARD

On the slopes of the lush hill
the drowsy magnolias seep
the warm drops of the dew;
they don't expect any rain
for another distant season...
where no hungry lizards creep!
Many of us seek places of harmony,
longing for notes that tantalize emotions,
feeling the caresses of the capricious wind
dispersing the petals of the dogwood trees...
while being captured by the idyllic images
we'll jot down when we'll get very lonely:
and that's something not invented
to feed fantasy, imagination, or folly!
I observe a bold-headed guy walking his dog
and being pulled to various directions,
the chocking beagle needs to get loose
and get wilder than those kids playing,
laughing and throwing pebbles into a river;
will the owner decide to unleash him once,
where there's no danger or menacing raccoons?
He finally lets him loose and the jovial dog starts barking,
chasing the croaking and leaping frogs startled by fear!
The pale-skinned man is getting a blistering sunburn,
having spent two hours without any protection;
he wishes he were swimming in a sea of cool waves,
but he's wearing a maroon cowboy hat and lights
a Colorado Maduro cigar he brought in the town of Lakewood;
he watches its smoke puffs rising high to form a small cloud!
On the slopes of the lush hill
there are no trees, only Daffy-Down-Dillies...
unlike the dandelions down below that bees
avoid when they spot a rascal
Parakeet that feeds on them and bends their stems;
such a scene is rarely seen, never captured by humans!
I don’t need psychology in my life
The life of life is the way in my life
The way is full of darkness, light!
The way given, without any trash
The goal is the perfect soul, mind
This is not mine. It will be a gift of life
I can’t do it. I need the help of God!
Yes, I want to be better and better
Time to time, day to day. No block
But there is a block here in my life
The psychology, created by humans
My way is just the ancient principles
Always. The old texts, from the past
Psychology can not rule a pure life
Psychology can not rule a rich life
Psychology can not rule a human
Psychology is an industry. The profit
God's laws are the forever life. Ever
I want to live just with God’s words
No need for the teaching of psychology
I don’t need the English psychology
I want God’s words and Nature
Just
The Life
God
Everything
A PRAYER FOR MY YOUNGEST SON
TELL the strong Holy Ghost, "Stand
byside myself at my head"
That my Isaac may be comforted
into a beautifully sound sleep,
nor fear, nor turn in the bed.
That morning comes and the sun
is decidedly brilliant as a
best friend; and departing
darkness between night and light
are as the same friend!
That i bid the Ghost have its
sword in hand for malicious
elements, this day so many --
that few have never realized!
The many joys and aspirations
realized! The pain, too.
That humans are fallible
makes life beautiful.
That you are beautifully
human is what nature enjoys!
You! Without haughty deed
and though awaits upon
his wondrous days,
i watch the stars start to
sing -- the cosmos' symphony!
