Innocently, I peeked outside of Eden's gate,
curious to the outcome of Adam and Eve's fate.
Shocked when I saw him wearing a large fig leaf,
a precursor to men's underwear, called 'the brief.'
I beseeched Mother Nature for a gust of wind
and prayed that would not be considered a sin,
but all she delivered was a gentle little breeze.
That was enough to make me fall to my knees.
A flash of his verile manhood was all it took
to make me sigh and then take another look.
Suddenly, I was filled with libidinous desire,
gasping when the wind lifted the leaf a bit higher.
I held my breath, trying not to make any noise,
but I've never been a paragon of grace and poise.
"Who are you?" he said, "What do you want?"
I'm just admiring the fig leaf you proudly flaunt.
No, I didn't really say that. I couldn't speak at all.
I simply admired his physique. Gosh, he was tall!
My cheeks grew warm from the heat of a blush,
and I yearned to touch his bronze skin. What a rush
that would be, but I just stood there like a fool.
I mumbled something silly. Something about a tool.
What could I do after disgracing myself like that?
I offered him a fig leaf, saying, "Thanks for the chat."
If there's a moral to this story, it shouldn't be told,
at least not until I'm either senile or insanely bold.
No man I've ever met since seeing Adam's worth
has measured up to him, not in length nor in girth.
I shouldn't share my tale, but it was a sight to see,
and if you'd been there, you would have to agree.
I planted a fig tree, and through years gone by,
no leaves were large enough to cover Adam's guy.

Fig Leaf Theme
Treat people well
With what you tell
Save yourself out of hell
Peradventure you fell
Life is strange
It flows off wish
But permanent is change
Cherished may turn devilish
To be rich
Is not all of money
Or being funny
But the treats you bewitch
The least
May turn the most
From the unexpected
Favour most times arises
Congratulations!
People are not always glad
Paint misfortune
Their emotions are awaken
Soaring higher
Things get tougher
Gradually going high
Everyone with you like to identify
Just assume it isn't a falsehood
You may turn a philosopher
Just don't bargain with a bluffer
Take it 'all is good'
Revenge is far off
When embraced
Both make out scoff
Rather get circumstances aced
Loud guttural roar filled Steamboat Convention Hall
Stovetop hats rose up higher, and most were already tall.
The tiger made his entry with a loud snarl and a pounce.
Watch out! Someone yelled. I think this creature can bounce.
We ran out of the way, as fast as heavily-dressed convention goers can.
Tiger made a bounding leap and soon was shaking a trembling old man.
Don’t eat him! A girl in a pretty petticoat with a corset yelled out.
He gulped him down, after shaking him up, down and all about.
We did not see any blood, for the tiger ate every drop that he could.
I was running as fast as my legs would on this double treated oak wood.
The tiger was gaining on me, I could feel his breath on my neck.
I fell out of bed before I was eaten and I said “What the heck?”
If you question the abused instead of the abuser,
you have already chosen your side.
If you require proof, before you offer the abused compassion,
your loyalty is not to the truth.
If you tell the abused to “get a second opinion” about their abuse,
you are not seeking understanding. You are avoiding it.
If you call the abused “brainwashed” for telling the truth,
you are protecting the lie.
If you shame the abused for speaking out,
you were never safe for them to begin with.
If you villainize the abused so you can remain comfortable,
you are not confused. You are complicit.
If you accuse the abused of “not getting any better” because they won’t conform,
you don’t care about their healing. You want quiet.
If you reduce the abused to “changing the family dynamic” when they name it,
you are protecting the system that allowed it.
If you tell the abused to move on and “get over it,”
you are asking them to abandon themselves for your convenience.
If you mock the abused when they tell you how they feel,
you have revealed exactly who you are.
If you isolate them, withdraw from them, and give them the silent treatment,
you are continuing the harm.
If you call the abused selfish for not considering you in their own trauma,
you have no understanding of love.
If you tell the abused that “wasn’t my experience” to silence theirs,
you are rewriting reality.
If you threaten the abused to “tread carefully with you” that there is “no coming back from this,”
you are not protecting the relationship. You are protecting control.
If you stand by silently while others do these things to the abused,
your silence is not passive. It is participation.
If you do all this and still say you “don’t understand” why the abused pulled away.
you understand more than you admit.
If you claim the abused are "punishing their children" for protecting them from people like this,
you have an inverted view of who is actually being harmed.
And if you do all of this while believing you hold the higher ground,
you have lost your moral compass.
“You will know them by their fruits.” Matthew 7:16
People talk out loud about this mysterious place
Love given freely to such a hurtful race
Such gentle feelings to a power unknown
Some times what has been offered, has little shown.
Some live in fear to what could happen to them
To have such a higher love, why the problem?
Holding such guilt in living carefree
With me every moment, is where I want this love to be.
Never worry about what is ever said or done
The day I had my first child I knew it would be a Son
Each day is a play already written but never read
Knowing my life’s plan without a word even said
The journey for everyone is a complicated task
To a question you want the answer, you’ve only to ask
The result you want will lustre down from above
The ultimate goal for all is the essence of pure love
Why would people choose such pain to loose another?
In this life you may loose a son, daughter or a brother
Comfort at this time is all that can be offered out
Much more to life than this, I’ll tell you what its all about
Before your living memory you chose a set plan
It started in the beginning of your life span
Behold an endless guide than you set out in preparation
From a new home, first kiss, even death or a separation
Heaven being our real homes, earth being a school for learning
You may chose to die young, gamble or to be high earning
Why? Is a question I’m asked to answer from time to time
But it’s easier for people to believe Jesus turned water to wine
To embrace God you must dissolve the padding around religion
That for some can prove to be a difficult decision
Loosing faith in the protection you thought was to care for you
Ones’ you loose look down and wish you wasn’t so blue
To choose a path you feel is negative to you now
Makes you into a better person, but you must wonder how?
To learn from mistakes takes a developed soul
One can not be with out the other, that’s the karmic toll
Sleep easy knowing you will be with the ones you have lost
Eternal life and love with them at no extra cost
Just wait and see, you will remember this in years gone by
I will promise to meet you on the other side just to say ‘Hi’
What is it that you need from me? -
I pray that you do tell.
For everything I've offered -
hasn't gone over too well.
Patience as you grow? -
As you learn from your mistakes?
No, that cannot be it -
because you've never really changed.
Could it be understanding? -
For me to learn just how you tick?
No, that can't be it either -
I know so much that I am sick...
Perhaps it is forgiveness -
to swipe the slate so it is clean.
No, because you've shown me -
that you'll do just what you mean.
I've come to think that silence -
is the thing you sink from me.
For me to not disturb you -
with the pain that you've been causing.
Do you desire smiles? -
Laughs? For me to eat my feelings?
For me to just get over it -
while you help none with healing?
To water down my pain -
so that you don't have to be bothered?
To pretend things never happened -
so that you and I "get farther"?
A pound of flesh you ask from me -
do I really even matter?
Or is it what you gain from me? -
It's now clear that it's the latter.
So now I turn the tables -
what is it that I require?
A pound of flesh I fear. -
Compared to yours? The cost much higher.
I now require honesty -
transparency as such.
I demand from you respect -
tell me, dear, is that too much?
I must be high up on your list -
I must be a priority.
I demand you be considerate -
and for unwavering loyalty.
This may seem alot to ask -
but it's time I claim my worth.
If you can't pay me your pound of flesh -
you must find someone else to hurt.
When I die I don't want anyone assuming responsibility for my remains.
I prefer that you just let the state assume that burden all the same.
Let the state take any organs that could benefit the lives of other humans,
and what remains of my decaying body could be used for experiments,
as a cadaver for students interested in a higher learning,
in whatever passionate interest of theirs in the field of medicine,
or the state could just ship everything to a body farm,
where forensic studies could help solve crimes that caused many fatal harm,
and whatever possibly then remains of my remains,
just dump it all onto the Serengeti plains,
so that struggling predators can exhume whatever nutrients happen to remain.
My point being is that I will be gone with absolutely none of these concerns,
so just let whatever happens to my remains happen after I'm gone.
Don't assume that any of that responsibility should be any one's concern.
Ego, not love, seeks vibrational match
for love is simply an effervescence
like yonder sun, lighting up each dark patch,
being quintessence of our soul’s essence.
Is not fickle love, that seeks a caress,
being dependent upon an exchange;
which if denied, soon begins to regress,
succumbing to cravings, our soul finds strange?
Love that is pure, is of the agape kind,
non-judging, all-embracing compassion,
a sublime radiance, no urge can bind
but perhaps such love is not in fashion.
If endearment be reduced to a trade,
deludedly, we assign love a grade.
Deludedly, we assign love a grade,
higher, if it gratifies our ego,
which is afraid to call a spade a spade,
need to be stroked, unable to let go.
As life unfolds and our consciousness shifts,
we may find that our interests diverge
but elixir of pure love, all hearts lifts,
radiating at all times, a bliss surge.
What matters at all times, is simply this,
that we see in our partner, divine light,
ensconced wherein, both our souls merge to kiss,
drenched in bliss mists, heightening heart’s delight.
Where love pulsates, there can remain no catch;
ego, not love, seeks vibrational match.
“Higher Love”
When my world burned
I was drowning,
knowledge became borne
from the wisdom of failure,
It ate me up and consumed me,
bit me with its sharp nine-inch nail teeth
like a vampire,
ravenous, straight into the blood-rich heart of the matter.
I understand things are being delivered, regularly,
travelling feverishly into the minds of all,
some acknowledge truth, most ignore -
it's simply torturous - for most - to believe;
The great programmer
has turned the key inside me,
my mind ignited burns foolishly
walking on water
upwards
oblivious
to the Unknown;
vibrations unseen
fearlessly power me on;
whatever comes,
I am more than prepared;
less than you, you assume.
Perhaps you don't know me at all.
Do Your worst,
bring It on -
Love.

“…and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind.”
WEATHER THE STORMS SOAR
I
Shadow dances impart across lite path
Souls entrenched in technicolor harvest
Comparable passage denied terrain grasp
Rainbow corral blurb optic delusions trust
Blown wind scars the clouds rains falls down solace
Weather the storms soar the heaven’s cry
Grasping at the middle climax remains
Compels vibrate illusive prey contains
Weathering the tornadic torrents space.
II
The wind invisible clams and flies goes
Soul’s fiction blinded spirits solar glows
Darkness flees from higher, highest bright light
Ground labor encumbering dusty bare
Light chasing the darkness blight night
Troposphere next to stratosphere so fair
Spoken forth breath and life birth
Forth going as well as coming go
Universal darkness encased in light earth
