Today, a small yellow butterfly brought me joy, and the delightful fluttering . . . I did enjoy: symbolizing an angel blessing from above, like the kisses of heavenly angels of love ! At once, I felt so much happiness within me, and I felt all my grief and all my sadness flee: I am about to go through a transformation, and all because of a butterflies flirtation ! I am full of joy, hope, promise and happiness, in this moment I let go on all sappiness: feeling like I can fly like this small butterfly, higher, higher, higher into the azure sky ! My muse is screaming loud with creativity, floating, drifting away~~ from grief captivity; and my heart and soul is full of tranquility, but, still like the butterfly . . . all fragility ! Oh, small yellow butterfly you give me insight, wisdom, and my faith is like a glowing soft light; my joyful spirituality is awake, with your dancing trance all my sorrow you did take ! ____________________ July 22, 2022 Poetry/Rhyme/A Winged Messenger of Joy Copyright Protected, ID 07-1475-340-22 All Rights Reserved, 2022, Constance La France Written for the Premiere contest, Joy sponsor, Regina McIntosh, Judged 08/10/2022 Fourth Place

Reading your work I remember the lines of William Wordsworth, "To me the meanest flower that blows can give Thoughts that do often lie too deep for tears" - Beautiful work. Congratulations!

Andrea, thank you for the compliment on my poem, hope it does well too. I would stop worrying about community points, and just concentrate on your writing, that's my opinion anyways! Me and Snuggles Kitty Cat are doing fine, thanks and blessings ~Constance
