Because I Know No Lust

My friend told me I have never loved in my life
And that is why I have never felt the need to mix bodily fluids
I find that strange considering I know heart breaks
But oh well, life paradoxes
Or I suppose I have no lust

I have kissed many a frog before
She says it's because I don't want to be bothered
She is on my side
Who is to know if she is really right
But I can tell you a bunch of things I have heard

They tell me it's surprising that I can be so firm
They think it's because I have way too many options
I find it amusing
How I am so great when it's other men
But suddenly when it's them they call me rigid
Talk about double standards

They say it's suppose to be natural
Well, natural my feet
I don't feel it
The love; the security
That can make me fall prey to their lousy tactics
And allow me to be defiled
Or I suppose I just have no lust

I suppose there are feelings which can't be conveyed by words
Feelings that can only be shown by actions
Call me alien
But can you worship me?
I am not enticed
Not even a little bit
I suppose I know no lust

Premium Member From the Ground On Bended Knee

I raise myself up and dust my self off
Getting ready to stand once again.
I'm ready I say, to stand and build
As i kneel to the floor and I pray.

Building alters day in and day out,
it's what I know to do,
It's all in the hope that one day not too long,
you Lord will come through.

Each day i believe and I hope and I stand
and most days it's always the same,
there is not enough in the bank he says
and I find myself self in position again.

As faith grows smaller than a mustard seed,
I will hold on with all that I have
and I will dust my self off and
get ready again because on my knees
 is where I will stand

I hope and I pray as night turns to day
hoping this day will be different,
wolves claw at the door, and i kneel once
more trying to build my alters of hope again.

It seems day and nights get harder and harder,
but faithful I will be to the end,
no matter the trial, heart break or torture,
you will find me dust off the dirt ,kneel to the ready,
standing on bended knee once again

I know you are faithful, Lord they tell me you are and
my own eyes have witnessed the truth,
so I know what to do because i will fight for the truth,
when I've been knocked down by hardship and terror.

I know what my mission will be,
I will stand up and bend down
take my position on the ground,
as I hope in you on bended knee.

Heart Broken

She sheds them tears every day
As she clings to the cold blanket
Longing for one who isn't coming
Abandoned by the one she loved

The father of her two children
One who bought her goodies
One who was always kisses
One who was so adorable

Now her companion is heart break
As she pictures the tyrant she loved
Romping with another woman
She tries to repress feelings of hate

The betrayal slices like a knife
Through her tender heart
And no amount of consolation
Can save her from pain

With her friends she puts on a mask
Pretending that everything is fine
Men are dogs - an overused cliche
She wishes her man was back home

You Never Meant To But You Did

You never meant to hurt me ,
But You did,
You never meant to make me cry,
But I am,
You never meant to shatter my heart and make me feel this pain,
But You did,
You never meant to make me love you then take it all away,
But you did,
You never meant to lay next to me and hold me saying you love me ,
Then leave me and go to someone else,
You never meant to say that I am the one for you,
Then turn your back and betray me ,
But you did,
You never meant to call me everyday and make sure I was okay,
Then call another and said the same thing,
But you did.
You never meant to make me meet your family and love them,
Then played with my heart and lied to them, lied to me,
But you did.
You never meant to watch my heart break in front of you,
And do nothing not even care,
But you did!

Heartbreak

how many times can a heart break?
how many times before the pieces don't fit together?
does time truly heal all wounds?
does it ever get better?

I don't think I could do this again,
don't think I could bear this type of agony.
I hate that this is what I've become,
an endless cycle of tragedy

the weight is all-consuming
a pressure that even substances can't shake
it's present even while I'm sleeping
borderline unbearable when I wake

I miss the life I used to have,
the one where I didn't care.
if a higher power does exist,
what made them think that this is fair?

honestly, how many times can a heart break?
how many times before the pieces don't fit together?
does time truly heal all wounds?
please tell me it gets better...

Audrey

Audrey

I love my Audrey very much
She turns my world upside down
She spins a word like a magician
She counts the seconds until we meet
She knows what love is and what its for
She transcends the moon and stars until they unite all for the grace of God
She is my ying to my yang
She is a house full of jokers when all you need is aces
She is poetry complete wuth degrees in being cool with it
She wants what I want and that is world peace
She knows how to get it too and loves devided are not on the scale of her being
She was my heart break but now she is my heart take
She is wonderfull and I am merely a man
She is the guru while I am merely gurus child
She would win any competition of beauty but ghen sh,d hide and say its not fair
She will be my guiding light when darkness peers through my window
She is a norrowing of a door when I am merely the gap between darkness and light.

She is Audrey My one true love eternally forever until I die.

Audrey.

Premium Member Mother Grimm

Mother loves her darling, infant girl.
Mother must protect her from such a callous world.
In a world full of heart break and pain we must count the cost.
Plus each day is just another day lost.
Mother tenderly snapped babies growing bones,
Pared them down and set them, under ripped skin, sewn.
I must save my sweet baby from ever growing up!
From being taken from me and eventually into a coffin, shut!
Time went along, as time likely does…
One more day gone, then a year just…was!
Darling baby girl in bonnet and bibb,
Inevitably began to grow and get big.
Tiny red spots played across her once clear face…
hair began to grow…in the strangest place!
Mother went to work, no slacker she,
A Plucking, cutting, shaping, stitching spree.
“ I won't allow time to take you away,
I won't let my baby suffer”, she'd say.
Infant girl was not permitted to speak.
Submitting to tortuous administrations, humble and meek.
However, babies are permitted to scream.
And the girl did plenty of that, crying streams.
Mother finished, swaddled baby in gauze,
She nursed and burped her, happily thinking of her good cause.
“Now, it's time to sleep, so I will read to you again.
How about our favorite? Cinderella, by the Brothers Grimm.”
Mother continued to smile, proud she was doing her part.
“Mother's do what must be done…much easier, when you have no heart. “

Premium Member How Many Ways

How many ways can a heart break?
When do the cracks first appear?
How soundless is the first hairline fracture?
It starts to spread
Almost unnoticed
Imperceptible
Except for a little discomfort
A little doubt
A little sadness

Unsure why or how
But….a little pain begins to develop...
A forgotten smile
A withheld word
An embrace that ends a little too soon
A kiss a little less fiery than before
A look that no longer devours
A caress that no longer ignites
A time that is no longer shared
A silence that is not companionable
A dream that is dreamt alone

The break widens
The pain deepens
And no amount of denial
Will alter the awful truth
That your heart is breaking..
And now you can hear the sounds
Of the walls crumbling
And the pieces falling
And you’re left to wonder...

How many ways can a heart break?
Where have all the pieces gone?
When did the first sign appear?
How can you carry on?

Sorrowful Bliss

I have a dream,
a dream no one else can seem to grasp.
Just paper and ink smudges- that wouldnt make a pay,
They say.
A thousand lives in a story, a story I control.
malicious Beasts, a heart ache or a heart-break,
 endless possibilities.

She sits there scattered at her desk, a thousand thoughts,
and a fight to be fought.
Thus she stayed silent, a word for each unheard voice.
Words that made her feel alive,
as her smile had been deprived.

Her swelling eyes that were dripping-
a drip for all her anguish,
that would send the words spilling.
Words that were more than just words,
more than any thrilling conversation.
Words that had dreamt to be voiced,
but were seen as absurd.

The blank ink spilling onto the page,
only understood by her, no rejoice
just bitter need for another voice.
The invisible ink she called it,
her closest friend.

But was it really just that, or
the longing to become a writer,
 to inspire another fighter.
To pour ones heart into a text,
and connect with all the rest reading.
Not just a teacher scanning anymore,
 to my hard longed planning,
but the need for an audience.

I have a dream.
A dream that I can connect with another,
to have an effect, through my words.
That at the age of 20,
I can have home:
dual desks, words that matter and
paper that roams.
Eyes that no longer cry,
for I instead dye my page with ink that shone,
 created by man,
and the pen gripped by her hand in desperation.

Once the ink was intertwined with paper,
she might have the chance to publish later.
But was it really an option
to publish her puddles of ink,
or had she just became
too close to who she called
"The invisible ink".

Love Is Pain

Twist my heart and tear it in two,
But that will never keep me from loving you.

Say such ugly, hurtful things.
No matter how many tears it brings.

Is this what it takes to make you smile?
Hurting me as I love you all the while.

Please stop this torturous time,
I need a man whose heart can truly be mine.

I won't ask this of you again,
If you love me, let me go so my healing can begin.

My loving you was a huge mistake.
How many times can one heart break?

I'll love you until I draw my last breath,
For all you've done, this is the only choice I have left.

I married the man that with all my heart I loved,
You pushed me away, with every hit and shove.

The things you said to me were nothing short of insane,
You taught me the biggest lesson in life, Love is Pain
