I'Ll Be Selfish

Finally I’m finding me the findings I was blind to see, my weakness is how I can be manipulated and deceived, the time I gave that wasn’t mine stolen leaving me behind, too quick to lend my hand and help disadvantaging myself, putting others first I fail undeveloped underwhelmed, not helping to win them over just don’t like them going under, I know what it’s like to suffer without thought help them recover, happiness is valuable, possessions money mean sod all, when you want the best for people sometimes you forget there’s evil, you forget the hate and bitter, because you don’t compete to better, you see good in human nature, you don’t care for rep or stature, some see weakness their advantage, they don’t help they choose to damage, you forget to understand desperate people need upper hands, submissive to help those in pain, those who really play a game, exploiting empathy for gain, out to guilt trip placing blame, but now I know the problem is tolerating fools like this, who know I cannot resist, learning life creates the twist, I have never been my strongest, honestly from now I promise, I come first

This Day

We have waited for this day to come when we would finally pack up and run. We have waited for this day to come when or battle would be won.

The stakes were already high, and the decree was set for everyone to die, the Thoroughbred in the stable, the football and green gables were part of the clown that was destined to drown and so the guilt trip continued to take a dip.

History has proven to be true and it is loaded with information for me and you, the tennis on the court, the avenue and the boat and the people that like to shout.

I could not understand it all until the women next door gets into a brawl, and then the picture was clear about the enemies far and near. I wasn’t going to buy into it until I run through every line to make sure that the story fits, the author was authentic and the crypto currency was not diabolic.

I have thought hard and long how to sing the unscrupulous song, but the rhythm was not right when you want to roll the dice; the submarine on the ocean floor has finally made it to the shore all the creatures were alive and the misery was revealed in the middle of the night. White sharks don’t attack you unless they are provoked. They will not come near you unless they have something to say to you.

Where do I go from here when I have so much to share, where do I go from here when life has treated me so unfairly? I have written so many cook books yet I don’t know which meal to cook.

The past is gone and the future is yet to come so I have to focus on a recipe that speaks of now important, now is chaotic, now is unkind, now is reality and it speaks truth to the unfamiliar youth.

We have waited for this day to come when we could finally settle down, and have a decent meal and enjoy the cool breeze. We will not be running from tornado, hurricane or typhoon, earthquake will be things in the past and we don't have function in the dark . The climate will be balance and we will not have too much of everything .

It will be perfect period for the multitude to come out of hiding and join the big bands, the parade and the festivals all over the land, this is the day when you are set free, leave the stage and go in peace, the universe will embrace you and love will support you; this day will go down in history as your day.

Sick On a Trip

It wasn't till I learned to drive
That I could look forward to going on a family trip in the car.
With the spectre of car sickness always dogging me along the way
Waiting to appear at the most inopportune moments.
I remember once being sick over my brothers new suit before
We were even out the gate.

But as soon as I started driving my stomach underwent
A miraculous transformation.
And is now quite definitely cast in iron.
Even when I clean up other people's sick.

There is one trip I still dread
That no amount of driving will keep me from feeling
Sick in stomach and in mind.
It is a trip I never plan on taking
But somehow find myself on even when I know I will find no pleasure there.

Thankfully I now don't very often go down that road
And now when I do common sense prevails
Leading me back home quick smart.
As going on a guilt trip is just plain selfish,
With an accident waiting around every bend.
And no happy ending in sight.

Rise up women

He who forces himself on to a woman has no shame
Be careful of playing the blaming game

Women need to stand their ground.
Stand up! Walk out! Don't be held down!

Rise like a phoenix from the ashes
Women rise up in masses!

One time. Two times. Three times passed.
You decide, women. When will be the last?

Women, tell the world how you feel.
Let your open scars heal!

He who knows it happened to you before,
Should not want to walk through that same door

Like an alarm siren, women, let your voice be heard
Create your boundaries! Utter that word!

NO! Say it over and over and over again!
Don't be put on a guilt trip for your pain!

Women need to stand their ground.
Stand up! Walk out! Don't be held down!

Premium Member Away At a Strip Club

Away at a strip club
No clothes are on me
I misread the club rules
Now I feel silly

I’d removed my jacket
White shirt and black pants
Then off came my boxers
I wanted to dance

Two big burly bouncers
Dragged me off the floor
Though I’m still butt naked
They show me the door

I flag down a taxi
Although I’ve no cash
I’m dropped at my girlfriend’s
To her door I dash

She pays the cab driver
And gives him a tip
One look at her stern face
I’m on a guilt trip

She throws me a bath robe
And I put it on
Then I realise that
My work clothes are gone

Although it’s past midnight
She drives me straight back
And gets my belongings
Then gives me some flack

I say that I’m sorry
Won’t do it again
And if I go clubbing
From drink I’ll abstain!

God Is Faithful

Sometimes when temptation has teens bound,
they must control their emotions to get a grip.
The quietude many seek can’t seem to be found,
and days become another extended guilt trip.

All this is the result of being tempted to sin,
and Satan is adept in making sin look good.
Temptation leaves minds filled with chagrin,
Satan is a purveyor of damnable falsehood.

1 Corinthians 10:13
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

A Mother's 'Love'

She beats me, and all I do is cry.
She hates me and I wish I wouldn't wake up in the morning,
Did you say mommy issues?
I have those.

Mom: "Cheylenn did you do the dishes?"
Cheylenn: "Yeah, mom!"
Mom: "WELL, YOU DID THEM WRONG!! REDO IT!!"
Cheylenn: "No, I didn't!"
Mom: "You put the plates in the front! You know what I'll do them myself!"
Cheylenn: "Okay!"
Mom: "Get your BUTT out here!! God why did you give me a lazy child!!"
Cheylenn: *Currently making dinner*
"MOM I'M MAKING DINNER!!"
Mom: "Did I ask? Hurry up!!"
Cheylenn: *Sighs*"If this food burns it's your fault!!"
Cheylenn: *Walks to the living room*
"You wanted...me?"
Mom: *Points at the carpet*
Cheylenn: "What's wrong with it?"
Mom: *Proceeds to whack me in my head*
"Don't get smart with me! You see that?!"
Cheylenn: "OW?! SEE WHAT?!
Mom: I am sick and tired of doing everything, the dishes, the laundry, the trash, YOUR sister's diaper, it's too damn much and all I do is ask you to do SOMETHING right for once and you can't even give me that!"
Cheylenn: "I do everything right, I do too DAMN much, YOU DO NOTHING BUT SIT ON YOUR BUTT AND WHINE! THIS IS WHY I WANTED TO LIVE WITH DAD!! I DIDN'T WANT TO MOVE TO AMERICA! YOU MADE ME!!"
Mom: *Proceeds to cry*
"That's how you feel about me? All I wanted was a daughter to love me! And I get this hating little goblin this is why I had another child!!"

She tries to guilt trip me.
And if I don't fall for it, I'm wrong.
You had a mother's love?
Can't relate...

Welcome back, dear me
let’s sip vintage wine and merry be
awakening to a radiant dusk exactly as is,
 caressed by sheer madness igniting
a dance a swing with a playful breeze
and to soak in evening’s tickled mist,
as reaching out to others completely
 drains my core like an overused machine ;
my quality time lessened slain by kindness...

Now, my days taste the cherry of life
indulging in forsaken passions leisures denied…
Yes, it’s all because self-nourishment
rings aloud: buy that violet lipstick,
paint the moon with enthralled eyes… throw a sinful dessert party and ride the carousel with complete abandon!

If Mom calls and neighbour Pam asks for extra help in her garden, I’ll wink gently—
Say no. For my heart is running empty,
It needs to be fed with jazz's tempo
without the guilt trip. So, I’ll smile at my body
And leave all for a while, as real love begins
with me, lifting this soul on the halo of fire--

Have It Your Way

Have it your way

(Verse 1)
You said we were done
We were through
I spent a lot of days
Trying to be with you
Did everything I thought was right
Just like an airplane
You hurried and took flight
 Didn't bother to check
Always hollering about respect
There's nothing more to say
Boy, have it your way

(Chorus)
Seem like my way wasn't the route
Should've ended it without a doubt
Listening to what others said
Should've listen thy self and stayed ahead
Ahead of the game at all times
At some point there is a line
That has to be drawn
So people can understand where you coming from
So hooked on what others say
It's cool have it your way

(Verse 2)
I never understood
When you had it good
You tried to do everything you could
To break what we built
Come to me with the guilt trip
And I wasn't buying it
Ain't no need in trying it
You had it all
And you played
A lot of people would trade
To have someone so honest and true
Someone who loves you for you
Hmmmm nothing left to say
Baby please have it your way

Chorus)
Seem like my way wasn't the route
Should've ended it without a doubt
Listening to what others said
Should've listen thy self and stayed ahead
Ahead of the game at all times
At some point there is a line
That has to be drawn
So people can understand where you coming from
So hooked on what others say
It's cool have it your way

(Hook)
Time after time
I've tried
All I was fed was lies
Time after time
I've tried
All I was fed was lies

Chorus)
Seem like my way wasn't the route
Should've ended it without a doubt
Listening to what others said
Should've listen thy self and stayed ahead
Ahead of the game at all times
At some point there is a line
That has to be drawn
So people can understand where you coming from
So hooked on what others say
It's cool have it your way

Repeat until chorus fades

Where Are You

I just cant tell. Where's the girl I know so well?
She can't be gone,

She fought like hell to be where she is, to belong...

To be honest, To be strong...
She wasn't lying when she said denial was gone...
She stepped out in front of the door, & let everybody know she was whole once more...
It took her years to come to terms & face the truth...

It took over most of her youth...
She wasn't uncouth... She wasn't aloof...

But facing the truth was the fear she feared most...

So where has she gone... She finally knows she wasn't always in the wrong...
Everybody she knew helped along the way...

They wanted her to stay a stray, She should be proud for doing it her own way...
If she kept listening to what people say, She wouldn't be here today...

So where is she... where as she gone...?
She's not broken, just bent...

Lucky for her the time she spent thinking she was wired wrong...

On suicide watch they said she belonged...
She wanted to die, & believe me I done more than try...

But someone up there, far & beyond made it very clear that it wasn't her time...

She had to stay & lose those she holds dear...

No mistakes, no come backs never to whisper to let her know they would always be near...
Once again she can hear a voice from her past, the naughty voice just one shot, just one beer...

You deserve a drink after all it's been such a rough year...
She argues back, & knows she a risk she can't take...

but she doesn't know how much more she can take...

she's not a flake, she's not on her knees...
But where are you, I need you please...

I don't want to buckle, I don't want to slip, I don't wanna keep going on a guilt trip...

So where are you, come back & stand tall...
I can tell her now queen, throne, crown...
