On the first day of school, I long for its end,
Yearning for my Jag family, my heart's dear friend.
The food, a tragic horror, but health's their decree,
A social kid silenced, a shadow of me.
The theater, my love, now comedy's the song,
No musical notes, just laughter all along.
Kids in the hallways, screams like a river,
Curses flow freely, make me shiver.
Classes so easy, they killed my ambition,
My competitive spirit, a faded rendition.
All going awry, it's hard to ignore,
From the high standards I held, I've fallen to the floor.
I miss my friends, both near and afar,
Even my enemies, each familiar scar.
Teachers who loved me, held me close with care,
And her, oh, I miss her, I'm painfully aware.
Mrs. Berry, the music muse so grand,
Made me fall in love with notes and sand.
My classes, my freedom, all now a blur,
Lost in the chaos, I wish to confer.
I miss being a jaguar, my school spirit's flame,
In the building's embrace, I felt no shame.
My name in the hallways, a story to tell,
A prince of the jags, oh, how I swell.
Lunch that connected, made smiles complete,
An environment where my heart could beat.
The air of hope, so optimistic and bright,
Made me feel whole, in its gentle light.
I miss all that made me, I miss it so,
The longing inside, like an endless flow.
Oh, if for a week, my story I could rewrite,
With hyperboles of joy, I'd reach greater heights,
I'd smile more, play more, hug and unite.
My heart taking flight, In the warmth of the jags,
I'd appreciate the love, give it in return,
In the embrace of the jags, forever I yearn.
Oh, grace, let me return, to my home so dear,
Where she awaits, and those I hold near,
The jags where unity knows no divide or fear,
In their love, I'd find solace, wipe away every tear.
In the home of the jags, where colors blend,
And every soul, cherished, my wounds they mend,
Once safe and content, on them, I depend,
Oh, let me rewrite my story, and bring it to the end.
It says in the bible
that Jesus was the word
another name for the words of a man
are the thoughts of man
It says in the bible
that Jesus was there in the beginning
so the thoughts of God
were there in the beginning
That nothing could happen
without Jesus
No man can do anything without thoughts
if God created the world
The universe and space
then yes he could create
twenty-three Chromosomes
and make a woman pregnant
Without her being with a man
he could create a body
and put his thoughts
into the body
Making Jesus into the word of God
So looking at Jesus you would be seeing God
But Jesus said, "My God is Greater than me"
would also be the truth
Just because
we can't understand something
doesn't make it wrong
we don't all need to believe
The same thing
a minister I know
believes that God was magic
he simply said let there be light
And there was
so the mere words of God
created everything
for me, I look at it more as science
Maybe the atoms of the universe think
maybe the energy of the universe is God
and getting lonely he linked atoms together
creating everything
Who knows who is right
maybe we should just talk as friends
allow each other to have different opinions
judge not that you be not judged
we don't have to be the same
to get on together as friends
Maybe, God was the singularity
exploding outwards he condensed
to become hydrogen
becoming Hydrogen
he went on to become a nebula
with Gravity pulling atoms together
Maybe he went on to make Suns
with suns exploding
maybe he went on to make planets
with planets forming
oxygen and hydrogen
coming together
Maybe he went on to create
life in the sea
With life in the sea
maybe he went on to create
animals and human beings
but in explaining to Moses
Maybe he simplified it
so Moses could understand,
after all, Moses didn't understand
atoms space and God thoughts
Who knows who is right
we were not there
we did not see the creation
or the evolution of man
We all argue and fight with each other
but the way I see it
I'm entitled to my opinion
and you are entitled to yours
I wished for a man to be greater than a man,
he became a god doesn’t know the meaning of humbleness,
but is self righteous;
from the sky he flows as a cloud of arrogance
rain pours with no consideration on inhabitants of the earth;
on the footmarks he left in the field where the sun rises and sets,
you see only unrecoverable ruins.
I wished for a man to be less than a man,
he became a beast doesn’t know the meaning of love;
he attacks anybody, anywhere and anytime to slander others;
there are bitten and torn remains of defamed ones
scattered all over in the wilderness.
Disgusted from life on the other side of the world,
though, I came back to the world of human society
I found that men are still unable to keep away from covetousness,
furthermore,
men are wandering in the empty fields of neither god nor beast
to find a blood sacrifice it doesn’t matter whom to offer.
In My Skin
In my skin I know what is true
Don't lie to yourself, you know it too
Clear away all excuse and every denial
For your soul ,too, will be put on trial
Stop listening to that beguiling voice that says
You have every right, or your doing your best
For there is no greater or more clever deceiver than
The heart and mind of mortal man
We put on the glasses tinted with wild rose
And believe all the pretty lies that we are told
It's easier, you see, than to be honest and true
Which requires slothful bodies to get up and do
Come now, Don't be angry, I mostly preach to myself
I am the worst offender, in fantasy I dwell
So forget about trusting your heart and mind
In your skin you'll begin the truth to find
A solid reality you feel, see, and know
Not metaphorically or symbolically show
Let us be truthful, if to no one else,
We deserve to be honest, at least to ourself.
THE SPOTLIGHT ALWAYS SHINING SO BRIGHTLY
PEOPLE ARE DOWN-SIZING ME
AROUND IN THIS CIRCLE, YOU SEE
NEGATIVITY ALL AROUND
A NON-POSITIVE ATMOSPHERE IN PLACE
NOT LETTING THIS BOTHER ME
I GUESS I'M IN THIS RACE
I STAND TALL AND WILL HAVE FAITH
AS GOD GIVES ME AMAZING GRACE
THE HATERS ARE WELL KNOWN
JUST PRETENDING WITH A SMILE
I AM WHO I AM AND PROUD TO BE
NOT LETTING THIS DRAMA BOTHER ME
NO ONE WILL DRAG ME DOWN
FOR I AM DETERMINED FOR MY DESTINY
MY PRAYERS TO ALL THAT CONTINUED TO TALK ABOUT ME
I AM STILL STANDING TALL YOU SEE
I MUST BE GOING SOMEWHERE GREATER
SO LET THE LIGHT SHINE, AND THE BLESSINGS CONTINUE
I HAVE A LARGE PLATE WITH AN AWESOME MENU
POSITIVITY, NON-NEGATIVITY
AN ATMOSPHERE WITH LOVE AND PEACE
NOT THE HATERS FROWNED ALL AT ME
THE TREE HAS BLOSSOMED, AND THE VEINS RUNS LONG
IN A GREAT PLACE OF RICHNESS HAS GROWN, AND NOW IS SHOWN.
Midst gifts of life, like poison in nectar, pains flow in too,
Endlessly, as though, they pester us with unceasing woe;
Schedules suffer; Works slacken; spirit and body slow down,
Existence turns, like, eternal psycho-physic breakdown...!
Saint Paul had a wound of such sort and he prayed to the Lord,
He felt, yet, in everything, the will of God be adored;
If in human weakness, divine power could manifest,
Could there be, in mundane existence, a greater conquest...?
I happened to have, in my heart, a deep festering wound,
That developed owing my life that was wrong-rhythm-tuned;
Licentiousness, I should say, had taken its deeper root,
Stresses and strains pricked me like thorns within an unkempt boot...!
Hopelessness, aimlessness, what else one needs for a great fall?
Pain of wound started rising, like price-rise in constant toll;
This festering, I know, will have no end till my sole death,
Brooding over it might cause early leaving of my breath...!
Saints and sinners have classically vital difference,
Stigma of saints caused, indulging in divine reverence;
Sinners have wounds festering by sins unconditional,
Yet, festering wounds, is factor, truly traditional...!

“All the world's knowledge is now at our fingertips. But the same technology is robbing us of interpersonal relationships and deeper insights.” - By Poet
I stretched my cupped hands,
To hold the manna dropped from above.
Through the gap between my fingers,
Much of it leaked away.
I deeply regretted my clumsiness,
For wasting what I could have saved,
As every drop of it being so precious.
But soon I got over my remorse,
As, I saw a dog licking it up,
Appeasing its gnawing hunger.
Thought of the poor Biblical Lazarus.
Had Dives been extra careful,
Not to drop even a crumb of bread
He would have died of starvation!
As this thought came to me,
A new insight dawned on me.
Letting go off was now easier.
Slowly knew, there was greater pleasure,
In sharing than in hoarding!
it goes to their level of
professionalism
beyond being physically superior
it goes to the wisdom of ones management
"conflictio Resilutio:grappiious Contendia"

we rank from one to ten all
active competitors from
one to ten beneath
the World Champion
a contender stands in line
behind the champion
contracts cement the opportunities.
Stars with greater drawing
power, are usually stars
who compete more actively.
They have more to rate then
new comers and start-ups.
a certain amount of wins
a certain amount of defeats
longevity and
it's who you have defeated
often defeating someone who has
a long line of wins
takes play into contention.
a champion who defends his title
over a lengthy duration: but
has a lot of DQ's , Countout victories, Draws
or forfeits, or unable to continue clauses
in the line of defence will upset the
way the promoters view him or her.
Meaning, if the champion is seen a certain way
by the audience
promoters can use gimmicky type matches
to draw conclusion to
a championship reign.
Managers can use their clout to
to promote a protege.
His or her's affords in certain matches
can play into effect
For example
a world renowned manager
bought his new acquisition into a territory
he had been owed favor's and he
fired his staff
and wrestlers in his stable
he gather new men
and begged and brokered
to get championship opportunities
for his new guy's.
In the crowded bus of Lusaka,
I met Camila —
her smile shone like the brightest star
torn from the American sky.
“I am from the USA,” she said,
“we were told Africa is backward—
no roads, no lights,
only savages wandering in dust.”
I laughed, yet sorrow weighed my chest.
“Behold these streets, these markets,
these souls full of fire.
Your world hides the truth from you.”
She listened, but with hollow eyes.
Her words betrayed her breeding:
“Our parents say you have lower minds.
Yet as I hear you speak,
I wonder if it is the opposite.”
She asked, “Would you not stay in America?”
“No,” I answered, “I have walked your cities.
I saw no paradise there—
only gilded prisons of glass and steel.”
She leaned closer, whispering,
“We lack moral intelligence.
We look down upon those greater than us.
I like you… yet I cannot love you.”
I told her:
“The soul has no color.
I do not hunger for flesh,
I am drawn to the mind—
I am sapiosexual.”
As I left the bus,
she called after me:
“When I return home,
I will tell them—
Africa is Heaven on Earth,
and America…
is Hell dressed in light.”
I'll still always love and miss you

I mourned you for so long
I thought my tears would never end
Life went on around me
I felt like I was in suspended animation
Then one day, I noticed the light
As it came shining through the curtains
All that love and light
It seemed to suddenly fill my soul
I saw a squirrel dart across the lawn
I saw a robin sing to greet the dawn
I saw a gorgeous bumblebee
I saw eagles flying high above me
And deep in my heart
I felt the warmth begin
It spread throughout my body
And healed my soul within
My face smiled without effort
I was lighter in my steps
My mind and heart were calmer
I saw hope in future prospects
Life may not be perfect
But the sun is greater than the storms
I'll still always love and miss you
But my feelings will no longer overwhelm
