Premium Member Fellowship Bliss

My heart delights to abide in God’s fellowship* bliss
Wondrously praising the Lord midst glorious worship bliss.

By the Saviour’s gracious favour midst His love and care
My spirit finds rest in His offered partnership bliss.

As I yearn for Christ’s approval through His mercy’s zeal
He propels my soul toward faithful stewardship bliss.

Reigning over me now against anxiety’s gloom
His divine peace exudes His vibrant leadership bliss.

How I thank the Almighty for reaching out to me
Bringing heaven’s gift of assured relationship bliss.

With His compassion granting my soul eternal life
I triumph in His presence marked by sweet friendship bliss.

Thus, I, His child, am verily indeed blest
Serving Him while perfected by His workmanship bliss.

*1John 1:3 … Truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

Delirious on a High Hill

I dreamt I stood on the apex of a
cliff.
The wind, howling madly and my
chiffon, purple scarf with gold stars
was completely adrift.
I was in the center of a glorious
pink whirling tornado,
With the love of my love coming
toward me.

The sun settling gently, the clouds
tenderly magenta and gold.
He was carrying white roses for me,
that's what the gypsy foretold

We embraced and the flowers fell
so softly to the ground.
I held onto him tightly as the multi-
colored tornado, whipped us all around!

I breathed a deep sigh and then
I awoke to find him under the rose
comforter, right next to me.
My life force, my love, my forever
existential  destiny!

Premium Member My Eternal Garden

I attend to my garden each day-
though a tedious task, it is true.
With the seeds of ambition, I pray
it will flourish for me and for you.

Do you know how it prospers my dears?
With the sunshine of radiant love,
and the moisture of falling wet tears,
   intermittently splashed from above.

And by nurturing it with the swell
   of bright hope for each new shining day;
the faith fetched from my deepest dark well,
it will grow in a glorious way.

Then, by weeding it daily, it should
give new seedlings room needed to grow.
Quick removing unwanted dead wood-
left uncluttered its beauty will show

As my blooms open wide in the sun,
all their colors will blend bright and dim.
I’ll caress them so gently, each one,
and breathe deeply its fragrance, with vim.

Through the Summer, my garden will spread
   filling spaces so barren before,
and not fearing the Winter ahead
it will flourish and thrive even more.

Now, I know with the coming of Fall-
my old garden will soon fade away.
But, through Winter's sleep, wait for the call-
to awake on a reborn Spring day.

Premium Member Oh Come All Ye Faithful

Somewhere tucked away in a Bethlehem hostel

Little Salam sleeps to the sound of the river Jordan

Unaware of the narrative of two thousand years

Or some glorious eternity still waiting to happen

Tucked into nappies donated by the United Nations

Who cannot make up their mind which peace to break

Some say it is Christmas while others call it a mess

Birthed under battle drums he clutches what is

Three kings fight over the baby with the conviction

That there is only one God and he bears the crown

Of thorny wreaths engulfed by wrath and despair

Writhing like a heap of maggots ready for the kill

I wonder whether once machine guns are silenced

And there are no more innocent bodies to splatter

If someone can find a rusty nail to seal his coffin

Or there might be some wood left for a tiny cross

But all will not be lost on the time sheet of doom

Surely he can find another explosion to lift him

Of course cremation is strictly forbidden in Islam

But who gives a damn about incineration and ashes

There will be no grave perpendicular to Mecca

And to add insult to injury of shrapnel and guts

Elsewhere little reindeer will slide down a chimney

Holocaust is better consigned to the margins of faith

Mother Earth

Mother Earth why do you so often cry,
Is it because every day one of your children dies?
Mother Earth why does your wind blow so wildly,
Is it because your children have forgotten how to act mildly?
Mother Earth why do the things you grow continue,
When your children do nothing but ravage you?
Mother Earth why do your rivers continue to wend,
Is it because your children always want to know what is around the next bend?
Mother Earth why are your children so mean,
Is it too late for us to be redeemed?
Mother Earth do you still love the sun,
When so many of your children have left with things undone?
Mother Earth will you always love your children so much,
I know you hunger for their touch.
Mother Earth how do you ever sleep,
When upon you dangerous things do creep?
Mother Earth do you still love your sister the moon,
Will I, your child, lie within you soon?
Mother Earth how can your children ever forget you are always around,
Is that why your tears fall down?
Mother Earth thank you for the blessings you give to me each day,
Thank you for a place for my head to lay.
Mother Earth thank you for my children,
Who have cleansed my soul from within.
Hopefully all of your children will realize just what you do,
And once again start caring for you.
So when the sun rises on a glorious new day,
I will protect you and my children in every way.

Premium Member The Edge of Summer

I hear a distant, gay twittering,
Night's at the edge of the moon;
I see the butterflies flittering,
Spring waits at the edge of June!

I see the myriad blooms invading,
Crowded to edge of forest green;
In their glorious colors parading,
At the fragrance of noonday sheen!

The sun's at the edge of Milky Way,
And earth's at the edge of the sun;
Time lurks the edge of each new day,
'Til the rainbow clashes with sun!

I'm at the edge of plum daydream,
And fireflies go in and out of view;
When sun's at the edge of moonbeams,
Missing those skies of deepest blue!

The fields lie on the edge of gold,
And blue mountain has lost its snow;
Scenic paths are strolled, as of old,
And new dawn's at the edge of glow!

Absurdity

I see the wind blowing my hair past my face
But I cannot feel it's caress upon my cheek.
I hear the oceans echoing whisper as it rushes towards the shore
But I cannot see it's dark blue waters
I feel the sun planting light kisses upon my skin
But i hear only the deepest silence of the night.
Fore I am truly unhappy.
Feeling alone, shunned, forgotten, stangnant and shamed,
I plead with myself, thinking of what I could possibly do to change these things.
It's only in my sanest, most lucid moments that I realize,
Just how big a fool am I.
So I cannot feel the wind, big deal. I will hear it.
So I cannot see the deep blue of the rolling ocean waves, so what. I will feel it.
So I cannot hear the effects of the sun, I will see it's glorious rays surround me.
My senses, lost in their sadness, are in themselves mad.
Backwards
Ironic
Utterly maddening.
So. What.
This, I am slowly, very slowly, learning, does not mean that I am lost.
It simply means that I am stumbling around sensing with all the wrong senses
The things, which lost in sadness, are still around me
Apart of me
With me.
And it is in my moments of sadness, that this brings the biggest comfort.
The biggest reason to topple out of bed and begin my day aknew.
And even as I chuckle at my own absurdity, I find that laughing? That really isn't a big deal either. For in it, I glory, just a little, in the sadness.

I don't want Aliens
buying U.S. business,
but please stand back
while I buy up all your cheapest busyness
for International Made In America Trumpism.

Colonialism,
like Trumpism,
should work only one way,
which,
as everybody of importance knows,
is my imperialistic,
not much empirical,
Royal Way.

I also don't want your poor
and uneducated immigrants,
and certainly not their ungainly families,
but please keep your rabble back
while I visit your capital investments
to infest my glorious smog
embracing short-lived climates of pathology.

Enculturation,
like facts,
should only work
Made in Triumphalist U.S. way,
and if anything were ever true blue and White,
and not at all red, patriotic made,
it is my great transitional

The Hunter

Upon first seeing you, I vowed to “make that woman my wife”
It just never dawned on me how much that would change my life

In the beginning, just being together was all that was needed
But it was the little voice in the back of my mind that I should have heeded

Looking into your gentle, loving eyes of beautiful blue
There was no doubt that your love was true

The look of passionate love was rightfully read
Though I misjudged what you were indeed calculating in your head

That glorious day finally did come when we read the vows that we would each write
After reading mine, it was yours that sent me into sheer fright

“The hunter has become the hunted and you are now mine
And it is now that I do with you as I please until the end of time”

Premium Member Cast Fears Aside Let God Hold Them-

A lot now nor even be
 frightened of anything
 if those fears be known
You're a child of God
You're a general
You have moved mountains
And overcame
The Lord said just received, believe
Let Me Hold It
Was Fear let me allow
allow me to dry your tears
let me hold your fears
That bind you
Let me out to sea glorious the battle be
Is one glorious, glorious
The Father and the Son
Oh, Spirit enter through
Grant me sanction I believe in you
And all you do
Alleluia, Hallelujah
 I am an admiral
More than a captain of the ship
Totally devoted to the trust
And I let those fears be known
You're a child of God
You're a general
You have moved mountains
And overcome Lord says
Just receive believe
Let those hold those fears
Let me, allow me to dry your tears
Let me hold those fears
Allow me to dry your tears
Let me hold your fears
And bind you, allow me to cast them out to the sea
Glorious the battle is won glorious, glorious
The Father and the Son
Oh Spirit enter through grant me sanctions
I believe in you and all you ever do Hallelujah
The Lord God says allow me to cast those fears aside let me hold them
