Premium Member Jenny Crow's Red Hair

Jenny Crow sobbed so hard, it really wasn’t fair,
Her new best friend Julie Thistle told her ‘you have rotten hair’.
Julie’s hair was blonde you see, Jenny’s was bright red,
So, Jenny told her mother good, ‘I want mine blonde instead’.

‘Don’t be silly’ her mum replied, ‘your hair looks fine to me,
I’ll have a word with Julie’s mum, sometime after tea’.
‘Hello, it’s me’ said Jenny’s mum ‘now what’s this all about?
Your daughter’s upset mine, of that there is no doubt!’

She listened really hard saying yes and no and oh!
Then turned around to Jenny saying, ‘well it just goes to show!’
It seems that Julie’s hair was never ever blonde,
She’d dyed it blonde, simply because, of red she wasn’t fond.

When Love Was Innocently Given

When love was innocently
given and this once gorgeous boy, merely fourteen,
choose a red-haired girl
to be his special friend;
he offered her a smooch sweeter than honey,
to find delight on her rosy cheek...

She smiled back and shyly kissed me,
I plucked a blue lily from a meadow painted in green,
and put it in her soft hair resembling Autumn's auburn leaves;
some warm raindrops fell on her brown eyes so pretty,
decorating her lovely face with happy tears:
while a robin, with yellow wings, spied on us with curiosity...

Sweetheart, you certainly were surprised and much pleased
by the performance of my first, phenomenal kiss,
which lasted longer than it should have, indeed;
you thought I wasn't old enough to feel both affection and bliss:
without knowing the meaning of their profundity,
but I felt a desire that couldn't wait until I reached puberty....

My adorable darling, adolescence has endured, not passed,
and age has made you extremely charming and beautiful!
I have grown and look as handsome as a fair prince,
recalling that moment which never slipped into a time so vast:
a memory cherished by a thought so fond and reachable,
to relive that gallant gesture of warmth and innocence...

When love was innocently given and kisses
were the fragrance of delicate roses,
these lips touched to share tenderness;
oh, those young hearts were not vain, greedy and shallow;
all the spontaneous smiles were genuine surprises:
adolescents sharing laughter, cuddling under the splendid rainbow!

Premium Member Dear Child

As you wander, my dear child grow,
Live fond wonder as warm chimes cheer;
Be brave, be bold as love meets flow,
Choice now unfolds true charm right here.

Forge mind and heart, my curious child,
Live peace that starts with happy play;
Be of good cheer with stern and mild,
Let bold thoughts steer your voice each day.

Seek silence where your soul knows peace,
Learn stillness there to groom your way;
Watch hope show how to dance warm lease,
Prize faith right now in gentle sway.

Keep a warm touch that anchors joy,
Be true as such with curious stance;
Learn to be calm as conflict toys,
Spread healthy balm in glimpse and chance.

Love keeps you strong to live finesse,
Dare to live long with purpose bold;
Walk your own path with genuine zest,
Learn your own stuff and bear the cold.

Your passion knows a succinct style,
Each action grows a lavish verge;
Love stays to ground each lovely smile,
Dare to go round with vibrant urge.

Life is a place where time meets space,
Here and now grace moves health and soul;
Discern and earn the face you trace,
Know as you learn to live one whole.

May blessings seed your goal and plot,
Dear child you need to be in-sync;
Be aware then of conscious thought,
Live now not when to cast fine links.

Watch life unfold in myriad ways,
Dare to feel bold to live with cheer;
Each step you take can fashion stay,
Love helps you make your now and here.

Honour truth well as grace shows how,
Integrity dwells with soul at peace;
Purpose shows you true pleasure now,
Action pays due to grand life lease.

Speed on your way in the clear light,
Frame your brave stay with ample fest;
Face to face greet such sparkling sights,
Live what you meet with bubbly jazz.

Look deeper still, look within now;
Etch a fond start, etch a sure line;
Opt firm goodwill, opt clear endow;
Niche mind and heart, niche soul and sign.

Apt as a rhyme, apt as a smile;
Live with pure zest, live with calm cheer;
Love pulse and chime, love word and pile;
Embrace true quest, embrace joy here;
Note this lifetime, note this lifestyle.

Employ and act, employ and set;
Nurture kind wit, nurture clear sense;
Reach poise and tact, reach choice and bet;
Image can fit, image can fence;
Quest can set free, quest can spark more;
Urge primes the feel, urge springs the thought;
Enrich beauty, enrich galore;
Zeal follows will, zeal rewards plot.

Lovingly Dedicated to Billy and Kyle

I dedicate all of my living days to you, each one;
my heroic, special-needs son, my tender love and bond.
       No labor defines the efforts from which your joys are spun.
My ultimate me is my all-time gift to you, my bro;
my lost, mentally-tossed brother, now joined in my home flow.
       It is your needs that lift my daily gifts to heart-respond.

In God’s omnipotence, He set challenge on overrun
as He cast both your spirits as health tested and beyond
       in His earthly realm where your current lives were begun.
 You are each my sincere heart-loves, two miracles that show
 my peace-centered, prime blessings to me in a full, vibrant glow.
      If such is sacrifice, then of sacrifice, I am truly fond.

On the road of life
The hazards can spring
Force upon us strife
As conflicts now fling

On the journey road
The troubles we face
Confront sudden load
That burdens our race

On the  route we take
So many fork roads
Confuse and cause breaks
In our crushing loads.

On the uphill climb
The pains and hurts flare
With soil, sweat and grime
That dilutes our dare.

On the path of light
We brave cold and frost
Clutching to fond sight
As we seek what's lost

On the darkest night
When sight cannot see
A light within fights
To show what will be

On the way ahead
We gather new guts
To put gloom to bed
Forge to purge the rut

On and on we go
To seek the treasure
Of a long lost glow
In endless measure

Freckles

I’m looking at her like, her eye contact just kissed me
Like if I look away I’ll no longer be able to breathe
She noticed my attention was aimed so she used a statement as ammo
To scope the particular shade of red
I see you’re distracted,
This statement is really a question
I answered
Yes, your freckles got me in a chokehold
Got my nerves jumping rope, and
I haven't taught my double entendres how to double dutch
But they are familiar with working over time
So let’s go double or nothing on love not because either of us loss
But selfishly I want to experience this twice
And the second somehow felt better than the first
One might say I’m mighty fond of you
Scratch that I wish I could make each freckle melt only to paint them back on
So I could say I helped God finish His masterpiece
Your freckles mine as well be THE Starry Night constellations
The way you look like the most priceless work of art
Your freckles give me butterflies and I’m just hoping one will land on your heart
Like I want to be the one to protect your heart
Let me kiss your heart since the sun kisses you in ways I can’t
I can’t think of a better ending than I love you but its time will come soon
This is just the second date and I’m shy so all of that will go unsaid
Treading water in my head to simply answer her statement with
Getting distracted is easy when I’m around you
Then an unheard whisper said
p.s. I wish I could kiss every one of your freckles…

Premium Member Prayer

Sit still here
Feel love near
Pray my dear
Purge all fear

In this room
Watch love bloom
To ease gloom
As peace grooms

Now and here
In this sphere
Cast all fear
Feel love cheer

In a while
Watch love style
A calm smile
As joy piles

Let heart speak
As touch peaks
Strong not weak
As love flicks

Be at peace
With deep ease
As noise cease
Watch love please

Touch deep art
In sure parts
As love starts
In fond heart

Cease to stall
Feel soul call
Through life's gall
To stand tall

Learn to pray
For fine rays
To fill play
In each day

Poise in calm voice,
Joy syncs good cheer;
Feel of fond choice,
Love sparkles here.

Seek then the truth,
Let falsehood stop;
Act sure wise proof,
Live drop by drop.

See nerves of steel,
Set sight to feel;
Let faith move will,
Watch soul now heal.

Style wears firm poise,
Happy knows me;
I cast clear voice,
Love sets grand spree.

Wind in the breeze,
Charm echoes flow;
A lovely squeeze,
Fond touch that shows.

Time to dazzle,
Words in swift flight;
Solve life's puzzle,
Beams of insight.

Smile for a while,
Live certain cheer;
Dare love with style,
Oomph moves tact here.

Grow a warm heart,
Stream mellow mind;
Watch love now art,
Deep profound finds.

Quest for the best,
Live ample thought;
In journey quest,
Affluence works zest.

The Corruption, Part I

There is a corruption we all should abhor,
It starts on the left, and corrupts to the core,
Cancer of the soul, if left to go on,
It takes bit by bit, ’till the whole soul is gone.

Makes people think that there are no values,
That everything’s fine if it’s ‘true to you,’
Moral absolutes they loudly disclaim,
Then turn and wonder why the world seems insane,
Why their true feelings don’t bring happy lives,
Only leads to a black rage deep in inside,
‘being true to you’ is a moral perverse,
With no standard to judge, things get much worse.
What’s ‘true to one’s self’ for those fond of rape?
Should the serial killer show his ‘true’ face?
And what of the types who change ‘truth’ every week,
Then act offended if anyone speaks?
The corruption permits them to silence all,
Pushing more and more, until it all falls.

The corruption pushes out all real beauty,
Replaces it with the fecal and ugly,
Throws out the masters who’s work defies time,
Declares that splatter and blank space is ‘sublime.’
Renir, Bougereau, Bierstadt, and Degas,
Masters whose paintings amazed all who saw ,
Now me have charlatans, ‘artist statements,’
An art world that can’t uplift, just dement.
The same trend pus music into a plight,
Ignore Beethoven, ’cause his skin as white,
No longer to Mozart do critics clap,
But ‘es and ’hos,’ that’s where it’s at!
Celebrate decline, claim that it’s ‘sincere,’
As it there’s no ‘real’ behind beauty and cheer...

CONCLUDES IN PART II.
