The eventide sun spread golden hue in my garden
as I saw your beauty blossom in my alluring arms.
The sapphire patina of glistened iris bud unfurled
in your dreamy eyes with the lilting luster of love.
A tiny drop of joyful tear in the corner of the eye
gleamed like the luring pearl of shimmering dew,
reflected radiant flicker of yearning in my heart,
the view took me to the edge of the stalled time.
In the trance of the fusing embrace I saw a blue sea
form in your eyes where I floated on waves of desire.
I wished you knew I liked to see your eyes unclosed
till the end of time, so I could sail to the bay of bliss.

As eventide awakens
Under our bower I lay
My pulse begins to quicken
The world vanishes away
As you slip into my dream tonight
Like a prearranged rendezvous
A sweet illusion to fill my sight
I close my eyes, it all comes true
To taste your lips is ecstasy
All worries are left behind
In this land of fantasy
Our movie plays in my mind
In our never-ending romance,
Our unique melody, crafted with love
Your touch so tender, full of finesse
'Neath the precarious moon above
Gallivanting forward in my dreaming
Eager to acquiesce to my heart's desire
How I long to stay sleeping
Of this dream I never tire
But he kisses me, nonchalant
As he gently fades away
Back in my memories to haunt
As night gives way to-day

SIGN OF THE TIMES
Stones will be thrown down. The temple succumbs like Lazarus.
Inconceivable evil hurled inside and outside satan’s circle.
Good perceived as bad and the reverse a similar fact.
Noah’s days before our rainy eyes, hankies blowing it.
Other christ, the false one, the devil incarnate arrives.
Feast of beasts will turn the world upside-down in defeat.
Torrential weather, hate and great distress to impress.
Heaven looks on in horror but not surprised.
Evening becomes the norm without moon or stars.
The persecutions worse and worser, God’s children cry, wanting
It to end sooner than later, having suffered and died, blood
Mixes like a cultural conglomerate - we knew the rat race
Eventide, on its plenipotentiary screeching wheel, couldn’t
Survive but for Jesus Christ — His victory secured at the cross.

The temple in line one is Jesus. In the final line His victory.
During life’s sunset years, in slowdown mode,
sidestepping environs that provoke strife,
our tranquil soul dwells in God’s heart abode,
invoking love mists that make us bliss rife.
Kindly eye looks at all with compassion,
tolerant to fault even if we’re scorched,
because where we dwell, love is in fashion,
wayward ego having long since been torched.
As dawn turns to dusk and night shifts to day,
with thoughts at rest and no load on our chest,
to the light that lights all lights, as we pray,
our presence is ensconced in heart’s bliss nest.
Having renounced desire, soul free from stain,
has broken free from earth life’s karmic chain.
It's the Love, It's the feeling, deeply echoing from my heart!!
O'my sweet little Hazel,
Your deep naughty smile while dreaming,
Laughing damn with pretty open eyes,
Your tiny little feet cycling around,
Are making me insane!!
Gaping a deep yawn,whether its a dawn,noon,eventide or dark,
Up-hilling my emotions, bouncing back to my heart,
Taking a siesta, catching a wink,
Mounting up the chubby cheek,
Making a good day, like Whistling in the harbinger of spring!!
Playing around in the early aurora,
Enjoying the feed, With the morning raga of "pasaydan",
My heart in sync with your heart,
Resonating a divine happiness towards you,
Arousing beam of radiance against my eyes!!
This is the day The lord gave,
Insight in the unenlightened hours,
Planting of God's offspring into the mother's womb,
There by illustrating the bringing forth of new life,
Mellowing my heart,
Thanks to the God ,for making my life more happier with your presence lighting my world !! Love you ~ Mumma n Dadda!!
Sitting next to me, you turn pages of our album
Unfolding sweet memories, treasured longingly,
Revealing verses of love in ballad of setting sun
Glittering autumn’s twilight on golden foothills
As blazing meadows inflame yearnings of visions
Beckoning us to horizon’s gamboge ebullience.
You remind me how we snuggled in its essence
When evening enchanted moonlit mountains
Stealing zealous glance of seductive passions
As tenor of desires rustled in crimson vistas
And smitten eyes gleamed in ruby winds of fall
Beneath millions of stars glinting heavens above.
Slowly you uncover amour of lingering dreams
Recalling fondly when we planted our seedlings
Watching them grow into vibrant blossoming trees
As spring of our lives bloomed scented flowers
And burgeoning seasons tallied passage of time
Reminiscing nostalgically in allure of bygone era.
Faded are the photos we peruse through now,
Amid falling leaves drifting on wings of eventide;
Each floating leaf evokes moment from the past
Inscribing its imprints upon autumnal canvas
As resplendent panorama revels our happy hearts
Swaying rhythms of night in your romantic aura.

when scorpions crawling on the boiling sands
dance the dance of death with tail culled up
the gaudy toadstools grow in the dark and dampest spot
in the wasteland, and as day progresses the never-ending
merciless killing under the very same scorching sun that hangs high above
the wasteland drags on and on in the urban, areas where people carry out
the activities of daily routine to sustain ordinary lives.
on the street and alley the children’s corpses
though laying here and there
no one knows how to stop the deafening roar
that comes from the blasting bombs and the report of the guns
that take more innocent lives away from loved ones which do not allow
even a moment to the bereaved one to mourn with own accord, and when
the tears of a woman in black burqa slaps forehead and bangs her breast with palms and cries, her maternal affection benumbed and become stone as her tears coagulate and harden.
a small rough and simple wooden coffin goes
carried by the stern looking bearded men followed by not requiem
but the shout of the angry crowd brandishing empty fists that won’t do
anything in air the agony of the incompetent father who incapable of
keeping his dearest daughter’s life
nor able to provide a decent funeral and burial services
for the child’s last journey overlays the new-soil-covered little grave
as many layers of sigh after sighs.
when the tanks and armored vehicles sweep through the street
where many, many of those horrible stories rolling and flying
all over like autumn leaves, the soldiers with dust covered
combat boots dash into the street with unceasing gun shots
that hit the shadows because it moves, only because it breathes,
and therefore must be slaughtered. the fireballs hotter than boiling
sun shoot in the air with loud report on the other side of the street.
and between those ear-piercing roars
another angry wave marches on the street
carrying a small coffin, and in this chaos
eventide with no tomorrow dyes the corner of sky
above the faceless battlefield with the red of blood.
A-pril thirteenth is fine,
N-ight shadows disappear;
N-ew dawn has broken, bringing gladness and cheer.
C-old chilling eventide
H-as turned into warm day;
R-aindrops have turned
I-nto beacon's shining ray.
S-ky so dark turns bright
T-o let the clouds pass by;
I-n the air I see the colors,
N-ice rainbow rises
E-ver high.
M-ist, haze and dust
A-re nowhere to be found;
R-ough ocean turns smooth
T-o let us sail safe and sound.
I-nclement clime turns fair,
N-o more storm for a while;
E-ach lane above is clear,
Z-estful light makes you smile.
L-earn to brave the weather,
U-ntil you see the sun;
Z-ealously keep the faith,
A-s steadfast as you can.
R-ise every time you fall,
A-ccept the will of the Lord;
T-ry your best to please Him,
A-lways follow His word.
Transports of hereafter
pass one leaf to unclasped heaps.
Flirty winds rearrange the hedgerow plumage,
wisp in gentle whispers.
Chipping sparrows play hid and seek
with a watery sunlight.
Business is flourishing for the snuffling groundhog.
It’s the narrow part of the day,
a shoaling light ripples where squirrels dart.
A Blue Jay raps his usual rib-digging oldie.
Felicity flutters the loose and drifting:
the soft green carousels of evening,
the pirouette and circumvolve promenading.
Leaf bundles are ransacked by delving voles
but gently.
Seeing all this
I paint the hedgerow again with this eventide wash,
watch it all spun into dusk
from these owl bright eyes.
Sleep, my son,
hush, hush, little one.
Your father's heart hums for you,
your mother's heart longs for you.
It’s eventide;
darkness wraps the world in black velvet,
yet the moon shines gloriously,
and the stars weave a lullaby,
all for you, my son.
I cherish you, boy.
Your worth surpasses the rarest emeralds;
your laughter stitches my frail soul,
and your sleeping face undoes me.
You and I—
we are of the same essence,
the same murmured wish to the heavens.
You are the yearning of my old soul,
the answer to dreams whispered in silence.
And I love you—
beyond what any words can say.
