Most just want medicine

A muscle relaxer for tension
Just enough to put out all the fires
Hours later, staff is reprimanded
For missing the hidden sign
A psychotic break has happened
Because the heart is connected to the mind
She just needed someone to see
To show care instead of evaluation
Worn from the moment to moment battle
The last incident is what brought her palpitation
Religion, the one safe place to go
Is the space where the man delivered the blow
He did not follow procedure or bylaws
As his power play put on a show
A traumatized woman her entire life
Never trusting a man for support or care
Can not even go to the elders for help
Because if they fail, she has no more heart to spare

confussion and frustration
made the task a chore
it favored longety which
at first evaluation
of the work had been ignored
in referance to the group
we were straong and committed
but in labor
we were divided
and uncommitted.
I felt cheap and used
like a man who wished
more attention from his
lover.
I must sort the collected
bunch
to then label and
make inventory
according to fiber strenght
and stone value
monodisperse silca
and kenaf ramie

curses these stones
a plie high to the ceiling.

these men that labor
me in such reeling

that I must crush the valueless stones
and sort those of vsalue

that they are evasive and lazy
that I must labor alone

Courage to take on and achieve any task.
Ongoing resilience, you wont need a mask.
Never say can’t, always be willing to try.
Forge ahead to succeed, and you will always get by.
Initiate willpower to get each job done.
Decide when you step to the plate, this will be a home run.
Each miss is just practice for that big winning moment.
Never doubt your ability, practice self atonement.
Congratulate yourself for doing your best.
Esteem is required to reach the summit of each quest.
Intend to do it well and you will.
Satisfy yourself it can be done better still.
Ask yourself if I you're ready to do your best, and wait til the answer is yes.
Simply the best isn’t impossible to achieve.
Tell yourself you can , all you have to do is believe.
Any time you dream of winning, it's possible to conceive.
Train your psyche to know ahead of time that you can do it.
Engulf yourself in the knowledge, that you will fly through it.
Offer yourself time to muster courage to face, head on any goal.
Forthright attempts made with body and soul.
Memorize affirmations that tell you to hold your head up high.
Instill a pride in yourself that you find you can live by.
New challenges will face you, attack each with determination.
Don’t wait for others to praise you, give yourself an excellent evaluation.

I never knew what to fill the spaces with
Sometimes I didn't even see them
They were disguised under many coats
With hidden pockets of shallowness
And oversized buttons to mismatched holes.
It didn't matter most of the time
Because the tailor never stopped sewing more
And I was content to let them lie
Beneath the growing pile of tweed
And gaberdine and wrinkled linen
Kind fabrics who wrapped them up
And kept them warm and unprepared
But as time went on and more people
Left the party, the pile of coats
Gradually disappeared and the tailor
couldn't keep up the pace of making
The spaces could be easily filled at first
With dreams, with passion, with sorrow,
With the wrap of a Cherub's leg in bed,
With the carefree knowing there'd be time
To butter them with tears or laughter
Or use their emptiness for meditation
But in the spaces that are left
A greater contemplation is required
It is necessary for them to be filled
With greater aspiration which in itself
Brings further sorrow for deep within them
Is the simple indication
That I will not have enough time
To fill them all.

the distance we have walked
is the same,
the time we have spent
is different,
Should we think
there is something wrong
with our steps?
Suppose,
what we have tasted
is the same
the flavor left on the tongue
is different
Should we think
there is something wrong
with the food?
Suppose,
what we have read
is the same,
deductions are different
Should we think
there is something wrong
with our understanding?
Suppose,
What we have witnessed
is the same
our details are different
Should we think

with our attention?

Situations we have been
involved in
are the same
our approaches
are different
Should we think
there is something wrong
with our point of view
In short,
Suppose,
so many things we have experienced
are the same
and what we have deduced
and gained
from each of them
is completely different,
in that case,
should we think
there is something wrong
with our existence?
In fact,
There is nothing wrong with
what we are
who we are,
for everyone is as different
and unique as a snow flake
I hope what I mean to say keeps
everyone a bit awake
