Premium Member Respect, My Birthright

Though the rain pounds outside,
Bidding everyone in my surroundings
To wear a grim frown
On their faces
I choose to open the door of my house
And to run, bare feet, in the open
Letting my skin be soaked
With those drips dripping from the skies,
Drips which ruin my brushed-up hair
And smear my made-up face
Making me look as messy as would
Be a cave woman!

Submerged in my own fluid realm,
I close my eyes
And dance with imaginary friends,
All who like me
Can only care to please themselves,
Without even opening their books to give
Their stories some space to plot out about what those
Who do not enjoy celestial showers
Would deem to think about them merely by glancing
At their clumsy dance moves!

If I choose to let myself be swayed by thundery showers
Or by the flow of the winds enouncing of how grand
Our world is,
So grand that it allows everyone treading upon its soils
Some space to enact for themselves,
Their own roles in a script which has been
Written by some higher power,
Why can’t it be that
We simply feel inborn in us, the surge to be like flowers;
Existing merely for our fragrance and our beauty,
While allowing life to create for itself
More artistry
By giving permission to bees to share our pollen?

Why can’t it be that
We see in others, the same essence
That inhabits us?
And since we shall all leave, someday,
After shedding off our useless and lifeless corpses
Why can’t we make our duty
That of understanding
That only when respect is given
Is it returned!

After all, when I enjoy dancing in the rain
I opinionate not
About those who stay indoors
I, rather,
Am so engrossed in experiencing the mystery
Of existence according to my personality
And the physical attributes that
Have been given to me,
That everything and everyone else
Become mere fumes!
Respect is my oars,
It allows me to keep rowing my boat
Further and further into murky waters
Since, armed with it,
Ancient creatures fear me!

Respect is my drive,
It allows me to set up my car
Into racing mode
So as to reach the finishing line as
As a winner!

Respect is my breath,
It allows me to be virtuous
While I transit in a world
Which shall never be mine!

Respect is my birthright,
I swear allegiance to it,
But
I make sure
To return it only when it is
Given to me!

See : Hear : Speak : Act

I held the torch high for you
           so you might understand
           the depth of our Love
In the reports I highlighted
           every perfect principle
I have set before you
           many examples
           and the supreme flawless one
           ultimately complete in every aspect
impeccably presented a picture
           easy to understand
It was painted so the beauty
           of it’s form
might be seen from any position
and I ask myself why is it hard for you to see
I gave you time for the examinations
I passed them on to you
           that you might make them
           your own
I laid out the Words
           as I was told them
I gave them to you exactly
           as I was given them
The instructions I have clarified
           alongside their understandings
I handed them over to you
           that you might possess
all the wisdom and all the wonderful
that you might trace them out
           and follow the threads
           a tapestry woven in time
           that reaches every space
           and covers every matter
I have made them a gift
to everyone who will open them
Your vision of it is assured
you must make them your own
           the gift of one mind
           to change the nations
one heart to love them all
           and one body to enact
                 it’s instructions
           to carry them into every
                 darkened place
           so that they can see
                        Light
           and walk in it’s Ways
           and seek their Truths
              The Love of God
and the dispensation by Christ Jesus

Hebrews (NIV)
1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.?

Premium Member Don'T Just Whisper

1.
WHAT?

Are we going to enter the ill-fated whirlpool of
Unintelligible madness, and let calamitous folly,
Anchor its obscure ships of destruction in our
Harmonious hearts?

Or

Are we going to follow the discerning star of
Glowing reason and allow lustrous wisdom
Institute its simmering dominion in our
Tormented minds?

2.
Are we going to constantly give fortified shelter to
Detrimental fears and permit fatal pessimism
Establish its depressing presence,
In our serene lives?

Or

Are we going to evict, detrimental dread, from our
Excruciating consciousness and relinquish vivifying
Optimism to enact its invigorating message,
All over our agonizing planet?

3.
Are we going to stand, apathetically still in front of
Virtue’s constant devastation and grant mean vice,
Permission to grow its abominable fruit of injustice
In our loving society?

Or

Are we going to become vigorously implicated in
Rectitude’s resurrection by putting up a gallant fight for
The condemnation of dreary crime,
In our fearful world?

4.
Are we going to let fading belief steadily degenerate our
Blazing ethics and permit sinister infamy, build its
Damnable empire of anarchy, in our
Mystic souls?

Or

Are we going to work, with ever-expanding zeal to
Revive glittering morality by sanctioning compassion and
Regenerating empathy and bringing harmony in
Our damned society?

5.
Are we going to sacrifice illustrious truth on the
Wicked altar of self-interest and endure venomous lie
Undisturbed to flourish in the midst of our
Community?

Or

Are we going to courageously strive against the
Catastrophic falsehood by allowing rapturous
Veracity thrive and blossom within
Ourselves?

6.
Are we going to remain helpless prey of
Mischievous hatred and grand carnivorous war the
Permit to destroy and devour life on
Eternal earth?

Or

Are we going to transform ourselves to
Charitable giants and give birth to everlasting peace and
To ever-enduring love for every fellow
Living being?

7.
If your choice is not the former but the latter, my
Loving friend,

Then

Do not just whisper but ROAR!

Slamming 101 the Miseducation of the Pathetic Whorelock Part Two

You failed once. You failed twice. Time for you to retest,
Even if it means that each day you have to skip recess.
So far you have failed every course that you took,
As if you never learned how to open up a book.
Don't talk in class, just listen to the lesson being taught.
You know that I have no chance of ever being caught.
The odds of you ever beating me look rather grim when stacked.
My creativity and wit are clearly intact.
In fact, my superiority I am about to enact.
Your words get out of whack, whenever you get smacked.
Because you could not pay attention to a word that I said,
I had to pull out my ruler and smack you upside the head.
And, that smack across your head really had to sting.
I bet it is the reason why you did not hear the bell ring.
How many more mistakes will you make me mention?
I have what it takes to put you in a permanent detention.
Mentioning others is such an unpleasant practice to see.
Stay focused! You have a hard enough time trying to slam me.
Leave my friends alone, and just let those people be,
And pay attention to the lesson that I am giving you for free.
Pathetic Whorelock, I am going to do you a little favor.
I am going to spice up this battle, just to give you a little flavor;
With imagery just like an old game of Pictionary.
So, you need to go and get yourself a brand new dictionary.
By the way, since you are learning something new,"guess what!"
DAKARAI is an AFRICAN name you silly numb nut.
The next time that you slam, try keeping your thoughts in order.
Trade a pack of cigarettes in for a new voice recorder.
You keep coming across looking like a cliche hoarder,
As you ridiculously cross the lines of every border.
Now, go grow a pair and have the guts to step up your game.
Your rhymes are lame, because your insults sound the same.
How could you ever "'tear'-(me)-out-the-frame" when you can't see the picture.
I am an earthquake, and you can't even shake the scale on the rector.
You will forever be ignored, no matter how tall you stand,
So you might as well not even bother with raising your hand!

Dreams

Impatient floodwaters at dams
Waiting for shutters to open,
A hodgepodge of puppets
Excited to perform: at deep slumber,
Waiting for my eyes to close,
The naughty byproducts of my brain!

I fly, glide: liberating!
I sing with a celebrity: enthralling!
I reach a different galaxy: wondering!
I flow with a river: murmering!
I see the illusory Utopia: interesting!
I meet a hero of a great epic: marvelling!
I chat with my childhood friend: giggling!
Also I get to see and feel
The serenity and purity of Heaven: glorifying!

I find myself lost in a maze: panicking!
I reach late to office: frustrating!
I see hideous monsters: quivering!
I get my opinions rejected: estranging!
I get chased by a stranger: panting!
I feel frozen and unable to move: benumbing!
Also I see vortex of smoke spiralling
At the centre of time and space: terrifying!

A mishmash of baffling events,
A drama with no sequence,
Trains take turns unexpected
At the criss-cross tracks; characters arrive:
Some much awaited; some not so,
To enact - breaking all logic.

Sometimes in the middle of sleep
I romance the vivid archipelagoes,
The stunning reefs, turquoise lagoons,
And the distant palm-fringed bays;
I wake up with a start and see darkness
Engulfing pitch black dark: despairing,
As opposed to splendid landscape: hitherto
Soothed my senses unbeknownst to me!
Striking contrast - seize my joy!
My eyelids droop and my eyes again
Succumb to slumber gracefully.
As sleep flows once more,
smoothly, gently and rapidly,
My fav sceneries reappear nimbly:
The archipelagoes, reefs, and lagoons,
Back from where they left me;
Broken threads fixed, my spirit revives!
A lost child finding his way
Reaching his mother's arms overjoyed!

Desires and wishes unconscious,
Experiences frightening and disturbing,
Pop up as dreams: the craftwork of brain.
Amidst mixed emotions I float, drown,
And as alarm bell rouses me
To meet the new dawn, I wake up:
Refreshed, peaceful, and content,
A sound sleep I did get.
Also reminding myself that
Its time to enact now:
The Drama of Life!
The drama with sequences, of course!

Premium Member Ego - Persona Non Grata

Pre-puberty years
Playful innocence
Warm ready embrace
Quarrels, aberrations
Rapidly erased
An uncluttered mind
Open, forgiving heart
Reborn each morn anew

Growing up, ego manifests
Taught to be street smart
Testosterone levels high
Feral instincts prevail
In the game of one-upmanship
Need to win our obsession
Heart shrouded in darkness
Conscience whispers in dreams

Upon expending our energy
Recognising earth life transience
We look at dark thought spirals
A Frankenstein we created
Remorseless devouring our soul
We are astonished and dismayed
Looking at these sunken vibrations
We have chosen to stagnate in

To erase negativity from its roots
We stop the flow of turbid thoughts
By shifting our attention inwards
Into the hidden recesses of our heart
In time stretched stillness and silence
Negating the oscillations that surface
Until we become a rippleless lake
Choosing to remain for eternity thus

In timeless time, the false falls away
Fulcrum of our consciousness, space
Our mind-body now an empty shell
Cleansed of erst ego borne dark stains
Reveals from deep within our heart
Our true self shining, bubbling with bliss
Magnetised by the healing light divine
Suffusing all nodes with ecstatic rapture

Boundaries blur between others and us
We feel underlying interconnectedness
Recognising in time that love alone real
All other vibrations but thought constructs
Entrapping our attention in myriad illusions
Plunging our consciousness in delusion
Thus we meld head with heart and love
Twice born here now in the flesh, erect

Earth dream life yet plays on in as ordained
We enact our role in resonation with love
Our vaporised self is immune from harm
Simply because there is no identity within
That that is, is a bliss mist, a living light
Empowered by the sublime breath of God
Thus we inhale vital life force with gratitude
With exhalation in simplistic childlike surrender

Take Care Wally Cleaver

Wally: Watch the hair!
My faculties are under arrest!
I have been subpoenaed by a Board of Inquiry!
Namely, Mr. & Mrs. Parents of OMgoodness Boy!
Begins the questioning! (blah, blah, blah)
Ward: WHY!
Retorts!
Wally: But dad (blah, blah, blah)
Empathetic.
June: Well, why not?
In-kind.
Wally: Well, mom (blah, blah, blah)
Backroom deliberations begin!
Ward: Ohh! Don't give me that look!
June: But my dear he's just a kid?
Ward: I'll even accept the concept of a Billy the outlaw
as there is some hopeful measure of action,
good or bad, but that's not the conclusion you're
drawing is it, sweetheart?
June: I know I've been turning my back on this, and
once I've turned around, there you are, not a
happy camper, our families, friends, and
neighbors, are all staring back at me, so I've
decided to let you deal with him and I'll stand
by whatever the ruling you decide to enact.
Ward: Well, Mr. OMgoodness, we hereby sentence you
to collect all of your electronic devices and game
cartridges and put them in a large box, then
you're going to clean your room, the garage,
and the yard, then mow the lawn, rake the yard,
then water the plants, after you're done, take a
shower and come down for dinner.
Wally: Wow, that's what an execution feels like.
Ward: No, think of it as a life sentence.
Wally: (sigh!)
June: We love you, honey.
Wally: I know that mom.
Ward: Oh, and by the way, I want to see your computer
keyboard in that box and I'll come around when
you're showering to lock it up in the attic.
(Later that night)
Ward: Good night son.
Wally: Good night dad.
June: Good night honey.
Wally: Good night mom.
(Bedroom doors close, and a computer light comes
on as a young MIT wannabe, clicks on settings and
presses "Online Keyboard")
Whatta day! Brutal, just ... brutal!
It'll be a long night ...
Good night Beav!
