Dare just to be a bold true man,
Learn how to see beyond mere scan.
Act with bold tact with a kind heart,
Look beyond fact to embrace art.
Live well each day with jazz and fest,
Discern the way to love with zest.
To each a gift of love and joy,
Dare to uplift with cheery ploys.
Each journey sums an outcome brief,
Live your outcomes through joy and grief.
Breeze tints and shades in the fond light,
Love well your trade with passion bright.
Each man comes here with mission set,
Dare buzz or fear to hedge your bets.
Purge all worry and let faith bless,
Just live happy with more or less.
Too soon, too late your time runs out,
On that due date voice hazards shout!

To say hello to spring
Winter relents in time,
Grey goes green, smiles gream grime,
Nature knows— not to cling.
Seasons change on their own
And wait not till too late
To kiss change on due date,
All things change, even stone.
But man seems stuck sans clue,
Feels frozen facing change,
Red nor green, but orange!
He who once walked on two
From all four, far to see
As ape— his greatest feat,
Yet, somewhere lost his wit,
Opting purblind to be.
In saying no to change,
An existential threat
That might wipe out his fate,
Back to times of Stonehenge!

Poet’s note: In evolutionary race when man was not yet a *****Sapiens, he showed an exemplary foresight to steer himself ahead of all life forms, on top of pyramid to be, and never to look back ever since— the time he, as an ape, decided to walk on his rear two legs. But today it seems he chooses to be purblind, refusing to see the threat to his existence. This piece wonders if man is on his way back to Stonehenge.
The due date approaches; the deadline looms
Irritation's in the air; annoyance fumes
A cauldron boils in every newsroom
The tension's palpable; nerves are frayed
Editors hit the ceiling
At mistakes never made
Ill winds are blowing of mounting desperation
Cooler heads giving way to righteous indignation
Utter frustration in the act of creation
Now the boss' out his mind; he's gone off the deep end
Taken it out on someone; flown right off the handle
Only to land himself head first in a scandal...
So remember, all you newsies, stay under control
Not blowing up's your primary goal
Meet your deadline; don't forfeit your soul

Being a nurse I had a good understanding of medications for pain,
Explained to my Obstetrician I wanted everything, I was not insane,
This was my first baby and being in healthcare had very few perks,
I’d be given an epidural when the time came, but not by any jerks.
Worked full-time then started maternity leave 2 weeks before my due date,
Of course I sat at home for another 5 weeks, oh my first baby was really late.
I read every book in the library and cleaned my house more than one time,
Everyday the neighbours would drop by, I was tired of the door bell chime.
Walked into the hospital to have a non-stress test, done every other day,
My doctor laid his hand on me and asked “how long have you been this way”
I replied “ for about 11 months, you should know you’ve seen me every week”
He firmly instructed the nurse to call my home, for my husband they must seek.
My husband knowing my test was routine, had driven to town to go to the Gym,
What is that you say dear doctor, “I’m fully dilated, I’m soon going to be slim”
Well first I’ll I just zip home to grab my luggage and I promise I just zoooom,
What’s that- “I’m bypassing the labour and going straight to the delivery room”
So I hopped onto the table, took deep breaths and put my feet in the snare
When finally my dear husband arrived ~ with more than five minutes to spare
“It’s a beautiful girl with dark hair, 8 lbs 7 oz ” I heard the delivery room nurse say,
My love has never been stronger, my greatest moment, our most memorable day.

“One Stand Out Day”
Won 4th place
Etch profound gaze upon these shores,
Zest feeds courage beyond mere chance;
Ask to know maze and grow some more,
Grow sound message to greet the dance.
Do with fond feel with focus grand,
Dream funds appeal as firm strokes blend;
Obsess pure will to sparkle trends.
Truth has sure say in what may be,
Feel and live then that burning fire;
Echo each day sure pulse set free,
Love knows just when fate meets desire.
Work well the fate in your own hands,
Expect due date to bless you friend,
Yes dare to plate what practice sends.
Note that sure flair in touch that traps,
Allow each gate to ease pretence;
Use each affair to seed thought wrap,
Keep clear of hate that hurts your sense.
Effect true cause in what springs due,
Exult bold course with profound hues;
Live that sure bourse as thought floods cue.
Will that pure zest to work your best,
Offer to be the dream come true;
Notice dream quest that sums your fest,
Know what you see to be just you.

Romans 13:8 “…Pay your debts as they come due. However, one debt you can never finish paying is the debt of love that you owe each other.
the mailbox, stuffed~
mortgage payments, car loans
with balances and deadlines
marked in red.
water, gas, and electric bills~
the hungry phantoms of
creature comforts
coldly due.
we chase the spectral zero balance,
dream of that stamped envelope
with the sweet release of
paid in full.
but the other statement
never arrives~
no perforated tear line,
no due date circled in red.
it’s a debt, unlisted, un-itemized,
it haunts no credit score,
demands no late fees~
a debt we’ll always carry.
this bill arrives not monthly
but daily~in every heartbeat,
every hunch that kindness calls
beyond oneself.
this debt, this sweet, persistent owing
is paid in tears dried on a loving sleeve,
with burdens carried, with forgiveness offered,
and in whispered reassurances.
this debt’s non-ending, compounds with kindness~
the interest paid daily—not in coin
but in soulful connection
and ego transcendence.

Something to compare to throughout the years. Valintines Day is

We sangin Christmas songs tonight!
Just then that mean ole Mizzer came to the door

Gone out in the barn sing out their.
Not even a compasion for Jesus could
melt your chilly heart. We singing here tonight mister!
IIf ya'll is ah singing then

Un amplified classical singing. we singing here tonight: the other woman clapping that's right! Singing tonoight!' Of his coming, his devined nature and his earthly role!" Yeah Jesus oh Jesus!"
Writes work well
Truth time tells
Work wise wit
Brief brown bits
Share sweet say
Dust dream day
Feel fond fate
Drench due date
Lift lines loud
Prize prime proud
Watch words work
Just joy jerks
Taste true task
Morph mind mask
Thought thrills time
Rouse rich rhymes
Apt art asks
Bring bright bask
Mull meek mime
Craft croons chime
Feel form farm
Calm clear charm
Glimpse graft grief
Bless bright brief
Rhymes roar rich
Prize plot pitch
Speak soft sighs
Hurl huge highs
Set swift sails
Word wise wail
Health heaps how
Nice notes now
