The Democrat Debate
By Franklin Price
10/16/2019
Could not believe what I was watching
On the the Democrat debate
The outset not surprising
Has been no change of late
The direction of the great event
Set by the CNN
Further hurt the left side
With impeach Trump to begin
Dwelling on impeachment
Not their job there on the stage
Should have been what they would do
Of some substance, we could gage
The USA is searching for
A stabilizing ride
Impeachment's for the Congress
That's the place to stem the tide
Some of the nerdy dozen
Voiced how to sing along
And mentioned their concerns about
Helping write impeachment's song
Their object is replacing Trump
What they'll do, they should have said
Looks like the gators in the swamp
Are very far from dead
They should take a lesson
From what JFK would say
It's not what our country does for us
But what we do for it today
Malignant gangrenous political cancer
corrupts, festers, and poisons United States,
thus opposition cannot wait,
especially since Gospel in accordance
with feeble minded Donald Trump
implemented wrought ugly trait,
particularly obliteration, sans progressive
human rights legislation
more or less pronounced positive
in every L ionized Nittany or cotton bowl state
and ratiocination inherent within
mine Democrat oriented mind doth rate
this forty fifth president (defect)
with sawdust packing
his noodle oven egotistical pate
trophy wife (spouse number three),
a Slovenia mate
donning "I don't care anymore"
t-shirt rousing media firestorm of late
essentially silently corroborating,
fostering, and illuminating hate
mutely bolstering the Trump anthem,
viz make America great
again, which pathless,
pithless, and pointless aim
roars like an earsplitting runaway freight
train oblivious of wailing soul asylum,
that no era meets said criteria
backtracking time machine before
rightful indigenous occupants of this land
got decimated as one after another
exploiter did inundate
(comprising a multitude
of indigenous variety of village people
indignantly subjected to Genocide,
when first "discoverer"
of new land didst promulgate
activation wrought deliberate sealed fate
vis a vis capitulation, demolition,
and extirpation, cuz
a scathing rebuke aye attest,
those murderers didst equate
worthlessness of
so called "Indians" on 1492 date,
and still remnants of storied tribes,
now attempt to create
historical documentation operate
ting with limited resources to adjudicate.

Food methinks doth buzzfeed drumbeat agog
at pyrotechnics July 4th, 2018 shared as blog
posts, a falsehood prevails which dog
gone “FAKE” brewed watered down grog
posits that the majority of Colonialists stay hog
tied to strict task masters, and mainly the scant
upperclass experienced autonomy,
no matter the under class didst futilely rant
and rave with the occasional
uprisings over time did grant
minimal appeasement to stifle violent kant!
What is this kidnapped nonsense when it comes to Maduro? The United States has never recognized Maduro as the rightfully elected President of Venezuela. Five years ago a judge in the Southern District of New York issued a warrant for his arrest, alleging Narco Drug Trafficking among other crimes. When the United States issues a warrant, for suspected crimes against its citizens, there are no borders -- no recognized safe havens in the world. If they can get to the suspect, they will. Maduro will be fairly tried in a court of law. 100,000 Americans died of drug overdoses last year. If anyone thinks that this is hilarious, which I have read in comments on Soup, they have a serious problem with right and wrong. If Democrats in the US Congress, do not like what Trump did, change the law. He is acting well within his rights as President of the United States. This type of Law Enforcement has been done by other US Presidents in the past. Nothing new here. What is new is, a Democrat Congress and Mainstream News Media, who seem to have lost their minds if not souls. If any opposition reading this, is into the bible, try reading the 9th commandment again. Let the legal system play out. As for the politics of oil, other natural resources, would you rather communist dictators remained in control, instead of transitioning all rights back to the citizens of a liberated Venezuela, restoring health and prosperity to a once very prosperous neighbor nation?
On January 10, 2025, the Biden administration bumped up the reward for information which would lead to Maduro’s arrest to $25 million. The reward was previously set at $15 million by the Trump administration. The Biden administration also announced at the time that it would be offering a $25 million reward for information which led to the capture of Dusisdadi Cabello, the country’s interior minister, a $15 million increase. In addition, a new $15 million reward was created for the detention of the country’s defense minister Vladimir Padrino Lopez. According to former Mayor of New York Eric Adams.
Goose, goose, goose... duck!
They say they love and are not full of hate.
But listen to their speeches, with all their beseeches,
and judgemental and condemning ruminate.
And what of their fruits by which they can be judged,
that has fallen to the ground and reeks of rot?
Their causes based on lies, now lie fermenting in historic sludge.
Foolish voters, well now, they win foolish prizes.
And they keep electing their own and complain of their pain.
Yet... the cause of their suffering, the fool Democrat never realizes.

Too old for the same, repeated, broken records of bad solutions to rehearsed problems.
The Media
By Franklin Price
2/21/2016
The Media is quite confused
Finding they can't make the news
The internet's ahead of them
And their lopsided views
Some media Republican
Some are Democrat
The truth is in the middle
Where society is at
The internet will give us news
Eventually the truth
By the time we get down to it
Will be much longer in the tooth
Social sites simply satisfy
Common curiosity
Personal preponderance presented
For other members there to see
Doesn't mean that truth is found
When common ground sought
Just someone else believes the same
We've found ones with common thought
Don't blindly trust the social sites
Or reported news that's slanted
For if it's found, it's not the truth
It's easily recanted
She said, listen...I was silent;
She said, hear it? – the absence...
for amid, the usual chatter and clamor of
daily activity, other, more appealing, sounds
had vacated:
No bright, blush, cuddly storybook voices...
Gone the gay colored, squeezable, squeaky
prompts from toy animals, followed by baby giggles,
and excited puppy-dog tails –
In their place I saw Democrat Masks –
The depth of depravity a so-called human
class had sunk to, for power and control
over vulnerable others –
How can they be so evil? – a small, troubled
voice asked, only her eyes visible, seeming
deprived of any rays of joy – I had no sensible answer....
They were happily wed for fifty years but a dilemma that nettled,
Was their differing political leanings that they never, ever settled!
Every time a local or national election cycle approached,
The battle began as the virtues of their candidates were broached!
The donkey was the symbol of the party espoused by Ma,
And the elephant was the emblem of the party championed by Pa!
They agreed on how to raise the kids and on matters of religion,
But to agree on political affairs - nary one little smidgen!
For generations Ma's leanings were in-bred - she'd never convert.
Pa held similar feelings - his beloved party he'd never desert.
The slightest mention of the attributes of the opposing candidate,
Would spark another inflammatory table-pounding debate!
The outcome of elections they'd both eagerly anticipate.
Invariably, one of them gloated leaving the losing one irate!
If the man steering the ship of state committed a silly dido,
The other danced with glee saying, "Didn't I tell you so!"
Their never-ending spat even continued beyond the grave,
As on separate stones these epitaphs they did engrave:
"Here a Democrat lies; A lovely wife with the wrong party ties!"
"Here a Republican lies; A loving spouse but politically unwise!"

Hello the House and Senate
By Franklin Price

Hello the House and Senate
Democrat, Republican
To all of you in Washington
Every elected woman, man
To incumbents in position
I would like to have a word
I believe from We the People
The inconvenient useless herd
You act as if you're royalty
Ascension put you in that place
I hope you see that isn't true
Your hint; the presidential race
Whether we were right or wrong
We the People brought the Trump
If elected he may bring great things
Or take us to the dump
It's something that the people did
For you blocked him every way
Even his own party said
He wasn't qualified to play
I hope that he's elected
Then maybe you will face
That we're tired of the establishment
Believe you are a big disgrace
If he doesn't make it
Because you've slandered him at will
Be advised that we the people
Will work to get you off the hill
We're here to take our country back
It's not only for the rich
Work for us, or we'll vote you out
And show you life can be a *****
Replace your throne with office chair
Put yourself behind the plow
Your welcome to be there for us
Or we'll vote you out, we vow
'Tis fascinating to read epitaphs that upon stones are etched;
Some are rather appealing, some are tragic, others a bit far-fetched!
'Neath this stone lie at peace a husband and his wife
She a Republican-He a Democrat-both now free of strife
Here rests Bruno Snipes the founder of our fair city
He slipped on a banana peel and died-Oh what a pity
Lion trainer Dave was brave and famed
'Til he met Leo who refused to be tamed
Uncle Bob died so young and we wondered why
Seems he tried to drink Canada Dry
The plane's controls Pilot Horace failed to recoup
Alas he spun out doing a double outside loop
Cowpoke Hank should've known as a matter of course
That it was futile to borrow a judge's horse
Here sleeps Senator Claghorn the wiliest politico around
He was so crooked they screwed him in the ground
Here lies the prolific Chief Many Papoose
Who with brave's wives played fancy and loose
She met her doom as over the cliff she did traverse
Instead of shifting to drive she shifted to reverse
Cowboy Pete was so bow-legged from riding his horse
That he lies in a double-wide coffin as a matter of course

Politicians will lie,
to hold on to their power.
But in election years,
they’ve learned how to cower.
They couldn’t care less,
about the rank and file.
Though they’ll face a camera,
and flash you a smile.
They pass out some freebies,
and each other backbite.
Many have managed,
to overstay their invite.
Some admit they’ve never,
worked an actual job.
Most are slicker than Teflon,
on a glass door knob.
But all aren’t this way,
though I’m seeming to rush.
To paint all politicians,
with the same brush.
Democrat and Republican,
They can’t get along.
And when congress is convened,
it’s the next verse of song.
