Waterfowler’s Delight
Clouded marshes masking what may come.
Suzy's boisterous invitation over yonder grass
Dark shadowed spreads set to entice some.
As the glow of the East begins to amass.
Newly anointed awaiting the first blessing.
Old dogs hoping the spark will catch fire.
Light of day upon the horizon pressing.
Nosing sweet dew upon the poignant mire.
Blue and grays approaching whiter shades.
Dark decoys amidst water hazed with hue.
Breaths of pink winds follow forecasted trades.
Nestling in, head up, taking in one last view.
Grasses, reeds, trees and limb begin their claps,
Rattling and brushing in a standing ovation.
Shedding nights tears, tapping coats and caps,
Encouraging shivers of warm tingling anticipation.
Night choruses blend with day’s percussion
Clicks and rasps of metal, wood and springs.
Last words, rules whispered in group discussion
Silenced by sudden whistling of cupped wings.
Glancing at time wishing the watch was there
Edging toward one half hour before this sunrise.
A single, lonely, echoing report from over there,
Waterfowler's delight, peeling eyes to the skies.

Favoured poems allow me to feel blessed, letting me rejoice
Announcing soul’s gratefulness midst apathetic noise
Vouching expression anchored upon faith’s poise
Optimizing reflective times, despite doubt ploys
Resonating human nature's bests and decoys
Expressing earnestness of heart’s voice...
Declaring my need for the Lord's hoist.
Poems I delight in reverberate with life joys
Offering inspiration against hypocrisy that annoys
Exuding truth in varied forms along writers’ prudent choice
Making me praise* God for poets and their great style-alloys...
Shaping my poetry, enhanced by what my learning pen employs.
*Psalm 44:8 In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever.

It is fear that I’m now after
Awaiting in silence... awaiting its unnatural embrace
Too afraid perhaps to finally bother
This one excitement for a triggering chase
Why are there so much in life to fear?
Alike all thoughts and reasons... its simply a choice
Are we all afraid to let go that which dears?
Or perhaps our mirroring selves are the perfect decoys
Yet it puzzles me... whence to accept
Fear which I seek, I can no longer feel
My mirrored existence, simply a shadow met
Knowing nothing more can ever be as real
We do not dare enter our own illusion
As humans... perhaps we have too much of assumptions
Why not draft anew, an unseen perception?
Than fool ourselves in our very own deceptions
Somehow... it becomes harder to feel hereafter
Lost and in dire, shadows darkening to chase
My silence spats fear no longer
Is there not a time I’m to remember its unnatural embrace?
Inspired by Will Smith in the movie After Earth
An aborted fetus lies in their hands,
My soul had very different plans,
Commanding Atoms to rebuild a form,
The next check-up far from normal,
Formerly deceased,
I released my surprise,
My demise created this disguise,
Another prize growing inside,
So she decided to keep me,
You see I came from darkness,
Harnessing my energy,
This entity was my entry,
A sentry sent to destroy,
The decoys holding you back,
Cracking the code,
My north node on track,
Smacking right into destiny,
The best of me,
Drowned by my enemy,
But what they can't see,
Is I know I live eternally,
I'm here to set you free,
From the fallacy of degrees,
A disease stealing your worth,
Displeased by the Regimes,
I have Earth on my team,
She's screaming for remorse,
So I saddle up my horse,
A force you only hear about,
Lighting a fire they can't put out.
Radioactive fields where golden grain once grew,
magnificent churches, razed right down to the pew,
Kulak farmers starved out, four million of them dead,
free though and expression only lived in your head,
lives destroyed by camps, that archipelago,
how many lives vanished? We’ll probably never know.
Rivers all polluted by bad ideas deployed,
Russia learned it first hand: Socialism Destroys.
Even now in Cuba, the Carribean’s jewel,
people live in chains thanks to Marxist fools.
A country once wealthy off a grand sugar trade,
now drives around in junkers, all left from past age.
People still vanish if they say the wrong words,
so desperate to leave they swim an ocean that churns.
See that island prison and you cannot avoid
the truth of the matter: Socialism Destroys.
Glance to North Korea, if brave enough to see
a stark, ruined nation stripped of most of its trees,
it has a huge hotel in which no one will stay,
and most of its people struggle to eat each day.
Millions of them in camps, millions more try to flee,
you know things are bad when they run to the Chinese!
Despite their media throwing up poor decoys,
all who look still see it: Socialism Destroys.
And poor Venezuela, once rich and on the rise,
now it is convulsing and preparing to die,
so flush with black oil, now the rigs sit quiet,
once fed, now its people face unwanted diet,
female doctors whore out themselves to buy some food,
refugees are running to find some place that’s good.
By economic laws all tyrants are annoyed,
they cannot escape it: Socialism Destroys.
In our own ‘great’ cities we can see the same trend,
a path to poverty, a horrible dead end.
Once great Detroit is now a sad, crumbling pit,
San Francisco’s roads are covered in human sh-t!
Seattle will jail you for drinking form a straw,
Chicago’s a war-zones with little rule of law.
These once proud cities that people used to enjoy
sink into slow decay, Socialism Destroys.
Enjoy every day!
Life is meant that way,
rejoice!
Whatever they say,
Just work, rest or play-
our choice
Just take time to pray,
Let God’s Spirit stay,
no noise.
Listen to God’s voice,
Do His will; spread joys,
we should!
Be calmed as turquoise
Bright, nice thought employs
right mood;
Stay free from decoys,
Deal tough things with poise,
exude!
Work as brotherhood,
Throw prides at deep wood
today;
Be always nice…brood
Stored words for brain’s food-
display!
Be honest, be good,
Wear Christ’s Peace as hood
Okay?

The jars were meant to confuse even me —
labels scrawled backward,
dates falsified,
contents misnamed to keep them harmless.
I stacked them like decoys —
rows of false feelings,
the real ones buried deeper,
sealed in wax no hand could open.
Years I have walked these shelves blind,
touching glass like a stranger in my own skin;
aware of the weight,
but never sure what it held.
Then you came —
not breaking, not judging —
turning the right ones over in silence,
as if you always knew
where I’d hidden the truest rot.
I want to shout liar,
fraud,
to call your kindness a trick —
because what sense can there be
in understanding what is senseless?
But you lift a jar I thought unopenable,
hold it to the light;
and even I can see through it.
A clarity I never asked for,
yet cannot deny —
painful, precise,
like waking from sleep in a burning room.
I built these shelves crooked on purpose,
so even I would lose my way,
so even I could not find the one jar
with my true name scrawled under the lid.
Years, I walked these tunnels blind —
aware of the weight of glass,
but never knowing its contents.
I am foreign even to myself:
the way I think bends like warped wood,
splintering under every step.
A painful clarity —
like waking to sunlight on burned skin,
like discovering the wound
was always mine to tend.
Now the jars sing at night —
not mournful, but bright,
a low hum rising through floorboards.
The shelves tremble with it;
the dust learns joy.
I am afraid to join them —
afraid this understanding is borrowed,
that one day she will set the jars down
and leave the cellar quiet again.
A man from Brazil
wanted handle me a cannon
to solve confusion with a shot
but not not being beast of burden
I told him to suck on the steel
being a soap licker
or becoming a ice dryer...
"SMART"
Some assume they are smart
and have a hyper bright Q I
just for having a DR title
and be known for SIR
when they are stupid and
insane...
Drudge
There is a northeast man
that realized to be the biggest
but only lived on decoys
thinking to be a wise guy
just being the plague goat ....!
POLITICAL
Almost every politician is excused
in light seeks the dark
speak lies as truth
this is his pure reality
because indeed are intruders ...!
Wishing I could be anywhere but right here,
On a dream bathed with barley and low lined cloud.
Relishing nature's eagerness to endear,
Leaving the busyness and roar of the crowd,
Delighting in vast small grain fields freshly plowed.
Ceasing to care of expectations once placed,
Rising only to meet the next mallard called.
Unfathomable desolation embraced,
In fresh cut grain stubble fields with decoys sprawled.
Sightseeing along a section line road, not showing on any of a map,
Expecting Fall’s migration to explode, with a north Canadian cold snap
